26/02/2025: Wow really they couldn't do enough for you from the welcome in to the serving just saying to my partner the coffee normally comes way before your sandwich but omg we got a small pot of coffee hot just to top us us which never happens anywhere. Now forthe sandwiches which we got were fantastic tasty chips and salad also was really enjoyable yummmmy the price was totally fair for what we got will definitely be back when visiting the area again 😋

20/04/2025: I brought my grandmother here before the book of Mormon. We both got chicken and waffles. It was her first time getting them!! She absolutely loved it and enjoyed her very first mimosa as well. The only letdown with restaurant is that it is very loud and they play heavy bass music, which makes it hard to have conversation!

They excuse themselves by saying there is room for everyone, but then when I haven't even finished my brunch they bring me the bill, kindly inviting me to leave. Apart from that, the quality-price ratio is not good. The royal eggs are small in portion and too much. Bathed in a tasteless hollandaise. Don't try it

02/12/2024: We are a group of friends who regularly meet for breakfast on Sunday morning. Our go-to place used to be Thairish until the owner threw a wobbly one morning. There was approximately 20 of us and to keep us together we moved a number of tables together. The waiting staff had no problem with this and were happy with all of us sitting together. This went on, religiously, for about 6 months. One Sunday the owner approached us in a very rude and aggressive manner saying that we weren’t allowed to move tables together and we weren’t welcome any more. One of our group stood up to the owner and castigated him for publicly embarrassing all of us. The owner retreated into the kitchen. Upon finishing our breakfast we stood up to leave. The waiting staff came over to us to apologise for the situation caused by the owner. Within 30 seconds the owner came over again and ordered the staff away from us. The owner went outside and sat at one of the outside tables. Upon exiting the restaurant the owner passed a disparaging remark to one of our group as we were passing. This remark didn’t go unnoticed and again we confronted the owner. He attempted to rise from his seat however he was advised that if he did it would be taken as an act of aggression. He promptly sat back down again. If there was a problem with the tables being moved then he should have said it to us in a private conversation and not so that everyone else in the restaurant could hear. Unfortunately we will not be returning to Thairish again.

26/03/2025: Just had my hen party here this past weekend and honestly the hotel couldn't do more for us, rooms are spotless, staff are so friendly and amazing, it was such a huge hotel, there was a dj on Saturday night we had an absolute ball, didn't even need to go to the nightclub that was planned for us, it was just perfect, very centrally located 5 minute walk from the train station, 10 minute walk to the city center everything within walking distance, will definitely be back and will spread the word about this hotel, it was amazing, thank you to this hotel ❤️❤️

10/10/2024: This is such a beautiful spot. We walked down from the square and glad we passed the other few cafes on the way down. It was busy which is always a good sign. We ordered some breakfast paninis, Tea and a Latte. Portions were enough to satisfy and the taste was divine. Lovely atmosphere with more to the cafe then the front room. Great value for the quality of the food and service. If you're in Birr pop in you won't be disappointed. Had to buy some cake and Gluten free buns before we left. Couldn't resist...

28/03/2025: Wonderfully situated chipper. Great selection and deals on menu. Food is piping hot and fresh. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food served with a smile! Has a table and chairs inside along with benches outside to sit and enjoy the amazing food.
