14/01/2026: Honestly, the food was not great. I ordered a blue cheese burger and the flavour was so weak that I wondered if it just was cooked next to the cheese instead. My brother had the ribs and they were alright, but nothing special. The staff were nice, friendly and attentive, but I would not recommend for food in Cork.

16/02/2026: I enjoyed a delicious fish of the day just pan fried and a vegetable soup, fantastic service of Mati, I am sorry if I wrote incorrectly the name. All clean and tidy. Brilliant.

16/02/2026: Had a lovely meal in Thomas Moore Tavern on Saturday evening. The food was amazing and the attention to detail was outstanding from start to finish👌🏻 Very friendly staff and the service was great. Already looking forward to my next visit 😊

09/01/2026: Outdated and overpriced. This hotel is not worth ‘4 stars’. In my opinion, they have some neck to charge customers their prices. The signal is nearly non-existent on the first floor. I wasn’t acknowledged by staff at the table during breakfast - you have to ask them to bring you toast, heat up croissants/scones etc and order coffee separately as it’s not accessible at the buffet, plus there’s a price menu to pay for coffee even though I already paid for breakfast included in my room rate. I could go on and on, like the steam room wasn’t working and the button to release bubbles into the jacuzzi wasn’t functioning properly. The food was bland and lifeless. The only benefits were the gym as the equipment was a decent standard and free on-site parking. Do yourself a favour and save your money for another hotel.

17/02/2026: Didn't have food but plenty of other costumers had and I didn't see anyone complaining so I'm giving for 5*. Quiet at this time of the year but tonight there was a good crowd and an excellent entertainer in Paul Dylan, a great array of different songs top marks from me. The owners Son Paul Junior is the Captain of the local GAA club who just won the All Ireland Club Championship, photos of cups are displayed in the pub.

17/01/2026: Super craic. Food was lovely. Service was superb. Great spot. If you're a sports nut - there are TV's everywhere so whatevers on the box and you're sitting down for a meal - you should be able to enjoy your food and watch the game.

18/02/2026: We went for a dinner with my boyfriend. The service was excellent. Even though we were a bit late they provided us with the table! The booking is essential. The food was amazing. This is my second experience in the 1808 Brasserie & Cellar Restaurant and it was just the same, bravo! We ordered roast breasts of chicken and slow cooked feather blade beef. And the dessert left me speechless... it was just a dream: classic Creme Brulee with Raspberry sorbet ❤️ Thank you very much! It turned out to be the great day... with the proposal in the end! (on the Viaduct 🥰)

18/02/2026: Everything was beyond amazing. Everything you expect from a small Irish bar and town. The bartender Joan was so full of information and so welcoming. The atmosphere was perfect. This is an absolute MUST in Cashel. I’m so thankful I stumbled upon this pub.

12/11/2025: Played this fabulous creation with a Lifetime member in October. It was part of a weekend of Golf.Texas scramble. 4 ball better ball. Best set of par 3s you will find anywhere. Fab greens brilliant welcome from Management.Golf shop and clubhouse staff. 4 amazing days of golf. Thanks Peter Jim and Stacey for your company. Highly recommend a visit. And the town of Bellmullet has amazing pubs and restaurants. Oh and the Guinness.

11/10/2025: Amazing service from our waitress, Sabrina Veríssimo. It was our first visit to the restaurant, and she was very patient explaining the dishes and very kind to our children.

11/10/2025: More interested in kicking us out than serving us. While we appreciate that the staff need to go home, being told the second you walk in at 8:45 they close at 10 then reminded every ten minutes is pretty poor tbh.

16/01/2026: I was served by a waiter from Morocco soooo friendly. I will definitely tell people to stop by here while travelling.

25/12/2025: Here for Christmas dinner (a first) Loved it Dinner was amazing Service (Amy) and girls was friendly efficient and surprisingly fast considering the size of tables being served ... well done Absolutely recommend!!!!
