25/08/2025: Called in to this pub/ restaurant yesterday evening on way home from concert in Dublin, their website said kitchen was open until 8.30pm and we arrived at 8.10, they wouldnt serve us, said kitchen was closed, so dissappointing.
15/08/2025: Quick service. Great town center buzz. Quality food. Great to see the right fruit being added to drinks - strawberry and lime in Koparberg Cider and orange in Blue Moon. & the right glasses were used!

03/08/2025: Bar staff couldn't even pull a pint of Guinness, no interest in being there, roast of the day and fish and chips were good but burger meals were microscopic and expensive, won't be back far better and cheaper food and drink to be had elsewhere in Wicklow town 👎

Outside area to eat with plenty of tables and cover from sun. Service was excellent. Staff were very polite and friendly. Food was very good.

10/08/2025: Great location, plenty of car parking. Hotel has a gym, sauna and swimming pool. Staff here are excellent especially Edel and Siobhan, in the restaurant. Rooms are spacious, bright and clean. Rain showers in each bathroom. Will be back.

30/08/2025: The online reviews were a bit older but I can report that as of August 2025 Pipers is excellent. Between the 5 of us we had mushroom starter (amazing), soup, duck, salmon, and lamb and it was all perfect, couldn't ask for better. Great service, and the back of house is doing great work. Best meal we've had in County Clare in a long time.
Giving 4 stars instead of 5 for atmosphere because security cameras feel a little under the eye of big brother but it's standard practice everywhere these days.
Definitely worth the trip and thanks to the staff for a great evening!

We were seated in the front area which meant the views and atmosphere was lovely.
Staff are very tentitive and polite.
Food wise the menu is a bit light on options and expensive that said the quality is very much there . Had read previous posts questioning portion sizes , I wouldn't agree.
We had the wings which are large . The specials are a little expensive . I had the pork belly it was very good I would say.
Fish and chipnwas rather bland.
I would go back.

06/09/2025: Our favorite pub in Ballina — and not just for the Guinness. Brian Boru is a locals’ favorite with some of the best pub food we’ve had in Ireland. The seafood chowder with brown bread, bangers and mash, chicken bacon Caesar, and chicken vol-au-vent were all outstanding.
Michael, the owner, and Klyde, the barman, are extraordinarily welcoming (even by Irish standards), and the regulars are as interesting as they are interested in you. We visited often and can’t recommend it enough.

18/08/2025: Very annoying and strange being turned away from a public house at 11pm of a Sunday night while local residents are being served. Very strange behaviour and just disappointing. Having been during the day.
Clean bar and lounge n toilets just seems to be for VIPs and not in keeping with hours advertised or as per their licence.
06/08/2025: Staff are so lovely, on the ball all night even though it was packed . Sharp Shooters just top class musicians, great mix of songs . Love this venue

23/07/2025: This place was once a highlight for eating on the way from Donegal to Galway but is in serious need of spending a little bit of money on basic maintenance outside especially to improve its appearance and "kerb appeal" . Food is still quiet good but offering let down by litter outside and signage with letters hanging off.
03/07/2025: Had a great time at The West Wing! The waitress, Amber, was super friendly and full of positive energy — really made the experience even better.
