07/03/2026: Breakfast was very disappointing, so called "farmers" sausages were the cheapest possible. Miserable portions for €14. Huge drop in standard compared to what it was last year

24/02/2026: Nice place, but one of the waitresses are quite rude and not friendly whatsoever. Made us feel very unwelcome and spoke quite rudely towards us. I will not be returning due to this poor level of service.

18/12/2025: First time here, not sure I would be back even though the food was tasty. I called ahead to order, asking if they take card payments, I was told no and that I could take money out in Centra at the ATM if needed. Order was a little slow but when it came to pay, I handed in the cash, 30 euros. I never heard so much complaining because I didn't have the exact change. Talking under his breath and making a big deal. If you don't take card payments and it's cash only, you should be able to give me back 6 euros without hassle and making me feel bad acting like I handed you a 100euro note.

23/03/2026: Had an absolutely amazing time celebrating my friends’ stag on the canal boat restaurant this past Saturday (21/03/26)! From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The boat was spotless, beautifully set up, and created such a unique atmosphere for the occasion. The staff were incredible—friendly, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly all day. A special shout out to Jaya, who was always at the end of the phone and email in the lead-up, answering every question and making the whole planning process stress-free. Couldn’t recommend this experience enough. We’ll definitely be booking again!

16/03/2026: Place is comfy, staff were polite and good attention, food was amazing and delicious. Try the burger and chips potatoes really good and 🤤 👌 Perfect. Trust me you won't regret it

02/03/2026: Had a fabulous lunch on 28.02.26. Food was very tasty and staff very nice. HOWEVER, when we got the bill the daily special turned out to be a rip off!!! when we ordered we were not told the price of the daily specials, Only it was steak Sambo, wrap or broccoli soup. turned out that our Cajun chicken wrap and a couple of chip... €23.95!! I would expect a whole chicken, with salad or veg and a full portion of chips. Might I add that their chicken burger with all the trimming is advertised at €18.95

11/11/2025: I've had breakfast here about 5 or 6 times in the last 8 weeks, the breakfast is good except on every occasion they've used stale bread for the toast.

31/03/2026: Oh I'm going to really REALLY miss this place when I'll leave Dublin in a few days. Prices are indeed quite high but quality is awesome; I have tested their sandwiches, pastries, individual serves, etc. and never was disappointed. Staff is really nice too. I wish this place existed in my home country!

05/03/2026: Popped in for coffee and tea. One of our party is wheelchair bound, and we were helped by staff, and a lovely lady patron entering and exiting. Friendly Staff and Patrons too! Excellent service! Highly recommended.

01/02/2026: We stayed above the pub for one night. Very cosy room, clean reasonably priced. Little kitchen with a fridge and microwave. Milk in the fridge, tea and coffee. Would definitely recommend.

09/04/2026: Quality of food has gone down somewhat the fish and chips were disappointing fish batter was extremely oily and just slightly burned, chips very oily as well the chicken and pasta dish I had was ok chicken was nice the pasta was very chewy and rubbery, it's pretty clean and price in usual range

22/03/2026: Nearly €7 for a pint of absolute muck. Myself and two friends all said the same, as for the staff chatting in the corner to each other waiting ages for a pint in an almost empty pub,then when they do decide to serve you the pint is pulled straight!, we all left half a pint or more behind us, Pj is in the game a long time now he should really have a training day for staff every now and then,

27/12/2025: Great venue. Staff are very friendly as were the patrons and good atmosphere all around.

24/04/2026: Reviewing only the cafe. Coffee was just ok. Service was mixed. Food was ok at best. Ambience needs help. Either lost its quality or management doesn’t care enough to try a bit harder. Too bad, as it is clearly a local spot and the bakery seems to be the place to spend your money for great quality and service.

17/04/2026: We had a full Irish breakfast and pancakes with bacon at this lovely little café, along with cappuccino and hot chocolate. The food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff was also very friendly. Highly recommended, especially away from the tourist crowds. 5/5 ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
