Friendly staff, nice interior. ordered a soup and a sandwich. The food is mediocre, nothing special.

Went for a late lunch. The atmosphere was cool. Good vibe. Staff were exceptionally nice. I had a mai tai cocktail 🍸 it was delicious I had 2 more. I had a cesar salad which was delicious. Hubby had their burger with real not frozen chips. Would definitely recommend it and I will definitely be back

Stopped in here for a bite of lunch. Everything on the menu looked really good. I couldn't decide between a Beef Shin Ragu Rigitoni Pata with Basil Pesto, or a Korean style Ham Hock Sandwich with Penut Slaw. I asked the waitress for a recommendation; she instantly recommended the Beef Shin Rigitoni and it did not disappoint. Wow! It was delicious! Fantastic Ragu, perfectly cooked pasta, drizzled with some pesto and freshly ground parmesan. Pesto was a nice touch, not something I would have thought of. My other half had the Crispy Fish Sandwich, which was also amazing. Crispy well cooked fish and delicious tartar sauce. Staff were really freinly and welcoming. It is a short walk from Killmainham Gaol and Irish Modern Art Museum. About 15 min walk from the Guinness Storehouse, so probably about 30+ min walk from the city centre, but there are Luas Tram stops not that far away. Definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed!

We came a week ago, very warm welcome, very attentive staff and excellent espresso martini! I thank Camila, who was adorable, for giving me the Spotify playlist that livens up the bar!😁 They also tried to speak French with us at the end, which was super nice!

We went for lunch with our toddler. Great food, quick service and everyone was so helpful and smiley! They even have colours and paper to entertain kids and they were very kind and patient with our little one. I'd definitely go back!

Old-school Union/Urban 8 is BACK! No more awful bar nonsense, just gorgeous food, super service, brilliant vibe. If you drifted away, come back. Just had a great midweek feed.

Had not been here since it was Union8 (yes, long time). A little expensive for lunch, but the area is more gentrified now and big footfall with kilmainham jail around the corner. Staff friendly. Food tasty. Limited menu, but good options and very well prepared and great quality and taste. It was a little quiet, but this was lunch on a Wednesday so probably to be expected. Ham hock sandwich really good, as was Southern fried chicken sandwich and ragu. Apple crumble desert was also really nice. Great coffee too!!

Fantastic dog friendly bar & eatery. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly but, unfortunately, a bit slow serving our drinks. I also would have liked a choice of IPA beer, but the only one they had available was lovely. We will be back again soon.
