Myself my husband and another couple ate in the long dock this weekend. Two of our party ordered a coronation chicken starter that was for sharing we ordered it as a main it was 25 euro. To say we were disappointed is a total understatement. It was a tiny portion of cubed chicken a very small few salad leaves and a small portion of coleslaw. I have never felt so ripped off in my life. It was disgraceful. Do not order this. Service wasn't very pleasant either. Overall very very disappointed

The chef knows what he's doing. The food is excellent, with fresh oysters. The service was very friendly and helpful, but considering the almost empty restaurant, they were a bit confused and slow (the guy forgot his juice). This minor inconvenience, however, didn't make for a very positive impression of the restaurant. They use excellent local produce, which makes for wonderful dishes. I recommend it.

Delicious food and excellently prepared fish! We highly recommend this restaurant. It's a welcome change from the classic fish and chips you get everywhere else. Here, fish is served at its finest. The staff is incredibly friendly and competent, offering advice on menu options and finding good solutions for those with allergies. Thank you so much!
The whole family had a very good experience at the Long Dock pub. It was recommended by our host during our stay in Co. Clare, and I’m glad she did. Great food and a lovely spot, especially on a sunny day with the live music. The mussels are a must‑try. The only small suggestion would be a wider selection of tap (local) beers, but overall we really enjoyed it.

Booked an early meal this evening and so very happy that we did so. My husband chose the Irish Stew which had plenty of lamb and was full of flavour. It could only have been better with a slice of bread to accompany it.
For myself, I chose the Crab and Mussel Linguine from the Specials Board. Probably the most enjoyable seafood linguine I have had. Full of crab. Apparently it was sold out within 40 minutes of our being seated.
Congratulations to the chef for this addition to the menu and to the young lady and gentleman serving us, who made us feel very welcome.
