The Long Dock in

The whole family had a very good experience at the Long Dock pub. It was recommended by our host during our stay in Co. Clare, and I’m glad she did. Great food and a lovely spot, especially on a sunny day with the live music. The mussels are a must‑try. The only small suggestion would be a wider selection of tap (local) beers, but overall we really enjoyed it.

Booked an early meal this evening and so very happy that we did so. My husband chose the Irish Stew which had plenty of lamb and was full of flavour. It could only have been better with a slice of bread to accompany it. For myself, I chose the Crab and Mussel Linguine from the Specials Board. Probably the most enjoyable seafood linguine I have had. Full of crab. Apparently it was sold out within 40 minutes of our being seated. Congratulations to the chef for this addition to the menu and to the young lady and gentleman serving us, who made us feel very welcome.

The lamb was cooked really well, and was a nice meal. The goats cheese salad tasted good. Sides were okay. Sticky toffee pudding was nice. Staff waiting on the table was very friendly Expensive for the food purchased.

Would well recommend this fabulous pub in Carrigaholt, worth considering coming here if you're in Kilkee. Great food and service.

The chowder is worth a trip alone!

We only stopped for a snack, but the menu looked promising! It seems to be a bit more upscale, with all the products sourced locally. The waiter was very friendly.

The Long Dock Pub is a hidden jam! Amazing atmosphere, staff is extremely helpful and friendly. And this was one of the best Lamp Stew I had in Ireland, hands down. Specially for those doing the Wild Atlantic Way, this place is a must.

We had a delicious meal here and felt really welcomed by the staff. Cosy, warm and homely all at once I had the hake & prawns in garlic butter with creamy mash - cleaned the plate! Such a fine pint of Guinness too! Thanks for having us!

The atmosphere of the place was amazing. It is located in the middle of nowhere (which made it a nice experience of us) and the inside is cozy and well decorated. Great food and service, no complains about it!
