We went for dinner (we had a reservation). Great atmosphere! Very friendly and the food was very good.

We ate here in 2022, and it was a must-return in 2026. Nice and snug, great place for a delicious bite and a pint after a hike at Sliabh Liag. Great food, atmosphere and staff. We did not stay at the inn.

Had a flat tire and staff went over and above to help us get on the road! The food was great and it was 3 minutes from our b&b. Easy parking and excellent staff! If you go to Sleeve League, stop at The Rusty Mackerel

Brilliant craic, food and pints

The Rusty Mackerel is a great pub with really good service and friendliness. Food was great amd we really enjoyed our stay. Fantastically dog friendly as well.

The food was good, but the hotel rooms were tiny and there was insufficient parking for hotel guests. Looks like they are expanding their parking, but having to move our car late in the evening after the pub guests left was a pain.

This is a beautiful place gorgeous food lovely staff. We had the fisherman's pie. It was to die for . We had the crème brûlée after also to die for. It was valentines day so they treated couples to glasses of prosecco and a rose. Such a lovely gesture. Oh i just wish I didnt live so far away from here !!!
