O'Gormans has a good record for pub grub. Their Sunday roast certainly doesn't disappoint. Well worth the detour for a stopoff on the N7 at Portlaois.

Our local, good pub and good food, great staff, but come on guys, waiting now for an hour for two meals on a Thursday evening, not acceptable, Donal get yourself some more staff or you'll lose good customers

Came in for Tuesday evening dinner- had a starter and mains. Thank you to Mary B for such an outstanding and accommodating service. Also to the manager for allowing our dog Into the building and for providing some food and water. Had Gorman’s mixed starter; Then Gorman’s mixed grill and breakfast platter. The dishes were very freshly cooked, very tender and full of flavour. Clean table, seats and floor. Highly recommended. Would definitely come back again.

Great pub. My favourite on Portlaoise, food is the best, Guinness and beers top notch, the staff are great, Ed can be on great form some days 😀😀😀
