Food is amazing every time without fail would definitely recommend

Came in for Tuesday evening dinner- had a starter and mains. Thank you to Mary B for such an outstanding and accommodating service. Also to the manager for allowing our dog Into the building and for providing some food and water. Had Gorman’s mixed starter; Then Gorman’s mixed grill and breakfast platter. The dishes were very freshly cooked, very tender and full of flavour. Clean table, seats and floor. Highly recommended. Would definitely come back again.

Great pub. My favourite on Portlaoise, food is the best, Guinness and beers top notch, the staff are great, Ed can be on great form some days 😀😀😀

Busy little spot but really good food

Take-away (delivery) of Fish and Chips Nicely presented for a take-away as for the food ...I couldn't believe how fresh the produce was , nice crisp batter as for the chips they were on point . I would recommend the fish and chips take way

So disappointed that our group who are on limited income were charged 2 euro per pint glass of dilute blackcurrant We will be very slow to return to your premises

If your feeling peckish and in need for good food then it's worth the detour off the motorway and head for O'Gormans Bar and Restaurant in Portlaoise you will not be disappointed.

We are not locals, we did not book. It was a very busy night. We understand that they had a system but the staff were unnecessarily aggressive. We will never go back. The food was very good but not good enough to bring us back
