Jeremiah Grant Bar and Eatery in Portlaoise

The food was very good but the waitress service was terrible. he gave us the wrong order and had a very bad attitude. It's a shame because the place is very nice but I'd rather pay more elsewhere and receive good customer service

I debated whether to give 5 stars to any restaurant but I actually couldn't fault anything about Jeremiah's .... food was tasty, service was friendly and fast and I'd definitely go back. While they have reduced the menu since my last visit ( this seems to be a regular occurrence in many restaurants and takeaway places too), there was still something for everyone. I ended up just ordering 2 starters for my main meal, the hot wings - tasty - and the bruschetta, absolutely delicious, was tempted to order another one🥰 We ordered the brownie for dessert...and a couple of spoons 😎. The food arrived quickly and we were put under no pressure to vacate the table. The staff were lovely, chatty, friendly, without being overbearing. So, if it's just a quiet drink or a meal you're after, head to Jeremiah's, you'll be glad you did. P.S. PLEASE BRING BACK THE CARBONARA 🥰.

Highly recommend this bar. Great service, waitress was very attentive. lovely food and cocktails. My steak was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Portions were big, couldn’t finish 😀 Very clean, toilets spotless. Will definitely eat here again. 91 euro for two mains. (steak was 27 euro). 3 cocktails. 1 spirit and 3 cokes zeros. Good value!

Myself and my family had dinner there yesterday evening. The food was fabulous. We all had something different and I had turkey and ham. It was delicious. it is the best mealwe have had out in a long time. My partner had beer battered fish while the others had chicken parmigiana and chicken burger and all were thrilled. Keep that chef happy. Pay him or her enough because the standard and quality of the food is what brings people back.
