17/01/2026: Such a lovely café, but the real reason I’ll keep coming back is our waitress Aleksandra. A Ukrainian girl with the most incredible, huge, beautiful eyes — you look at them once and you’re done for. She serves quickly, smiles genuinely, and with that cute soft accent tells you about the desserts. 5/5, I’ll definitely start timing my visits to her shifts now.

30/12/2025: I got the prawn tacos, they were divine! The prawns were cooked to absolute perfection and just melted in the mouth!

20/12/2025: Visited Bobby Byrnes today. Not sure whether it is the time of year or what but I didn't really enjoy the experience. I was there with 3 friends. We all ordered food. It was carvery. When my order was eventually taken after the chef finished chatting with the lady behind the counter I collected my dinner and sat down. One of my friends said her dinner was only lukewarm. I tried mine and it was just that, warm, not hot. I went up and asked the chef if he could put mine in the microwave for a minute. He told me he didnt have a microwave! I found this hard to believe. My friend called the manager and told him that while the food was lovely, it was only lukewarm. He apologised and said he would try and get that checked. Another friend joined us 10 mins later. She had the pork, and the first thing she said when she tried her dinner was that it wasnt hot. Surely the bain marie could have been turned up to heat up the food. Strange

05/11/2025: One of the most amazing experiences of my life. The two days we spent at Liss Ard were complete and utter magic! We both loved it so much that we would love to go back and experience more of what this stunning estate has to offer. The staff, location, food and atmosphere was utter perfection! My dream getaway!! Already wishing we could go back ✨

15/10/2025: Liss ard is an absolute dream of a hotel. One feels transported to a long ago fairy tale upon entering the property, and the feeling only increases with exploration of the buildings and grounds. The bar and restaurant were beautiful and served delicious, locally-sourced fare.

09/01/2026: The food was delicious and portions were generous. We had the Roast Beef and the Duck and we'll definitely be back!! Also the chairs are really comfy 😃

24/11/2025: Stopped in for breakfast and it was absolutely excellent. The food was fresh, well-presented, and really good quality, easily one of the better breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. The dining area was comfortable and welcoming, and everything came out quickly. A special shout-out to Radi, who was genuinely exceptional. Her service was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She made the whole experience stand out. Highly recommend dropping in here for breakfast and say hi to Radi!

31/12/2025: Nice hotel Great location Lovely food The only real let down is the shower curtain. The thing was like a jellyfish, it kept coming in on me & clinging to me. Shower screen would be 💯 % better.

26/12/2025: Fairly spacious rooms. Not too fancy, clean and comfortable, with a pub and restaurant. A great atmosphere guaranteed! Pleasant and generous breakfast. Free parking.

07/01/2026: Restaurant very loud. Toilets smelly and not clean. Won't eat here again. I usually go to the Kilkenny City Establishment and it is so much nicer! Didn't recognise it at all here in Dublin.

04/01/2026: Very poor customer service. Told me item I ordered was no longer in stock/now sold out (and week after I placed order). I then asked to cancel order entirely if that was case as it had not yet been dispatched, which they would not do. Order arrived almost 2 weeks after it was placed in the end (despite 5-7 day advertised when purchased). Didn't even arrive on time for me to use for Christmas gifts as initially planned and customer service most unhelpful at request to return parcel. Extremely disappointing customer service - would not recommend

16/08/2025: Absolutely best time ever! Met several new friends and had amazing conversations and laughs!

20/04/2025: We went in here as group of 7 adults and 2 children on a Sunday. Excellent place. Service was excellent, food was lovely. Had to be nearly rolled out the door I was that full.

26/10/2025: Have been there a couple times recently for family events great selection of Malaysian and Asian dishes as well as steaks and seafood service and atmosphere are excellent

14/11/2025: Overall, I'd never visit again. For the cost the food was abysmal, the staff were perfectly pleasant and the place was clean and tidy. I'd ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala. The rice reminded me of poorly made boil in the bag stuff, very watery and without flavour, the naan bread could have been used as a frisbee. The curry and chicken were nice enough but honestly for 18 euro it was awful.

30/12/2025: There hardly any parking spots due to local people park and use gym and pool. I have rented the apartments and very loud music coming from the bar that is up over the apartments and next to it. Until midnight.

28/12/2025: I've stayed in a lot of 4 star hotels, and truly, The Montenotte blows the rest out of the water. I actually did not want to go home after two nights away here, I was so relaxed and comfortable. The service from the lovely staff, the food, and the amenities are second to none. We had dinner for our engagement anniversary and it tasted absolutely amazing - food we had elsewhere on the second night seemed so bland by comparison. The drinks and cocktails were delightful also in The Glasshouse and the live music in both the restaurant and bar makes it truly special. Breakfast was amazing - an excellent continental selection for making a yoghurt and berry bowl with seeds and nuts, a huge selection of cooked food, and eggs cooked to order. Liked the coffee also, both in the room and at the restaurant. The pool and amenities were very quiet and spacious - as a person who wanted some quiet time, this was amazing to not be struggling for personal space. Loved the free cinema each night; a special treat. The gardens are very tranquil with interesting sculptures and beautiful to look out on from the balconies. I will certainly be back again soon. Worth every cent!

08/08/2025: It was an old room with a lot of mold and mildew in the bathroom and no amenities in the room, no slippers, no toothbrush... none of that. Considering the price I paid, it was extremely poor.

06/08/2025: Attended wedding.. Beautiful buildings and gardens, food excellent and staff wonderful 👍
