26/09/2026: What a hidden gem, can't believe I only visited for the first time, it won't be the last! We went for lunch, the views are amazing getting to watch the little planes taking off so if you are a plane spotter you must try!

10/10/2026: My husband and I went to the disco for Ukrainians at Seven Bar on October 9th; we paid €35 ​​for admission, yet there weren't even any chairs! The sound quality was terrible, and DJ Barberina was rude. Don't invite her back—none of my friends were happy with it!

04/08/2026: We stayed here for 4 nights during our time in Ireland and it is a very special place. You can tell that it's family run - staff is warm and inviting, and the charm of the original building from the 1800s is still very much alive. Breakfast was included at the restaurant Lil's, and the quality and quantity of options that were made to order were exceptional (full Irish breakfast, pancakes, waffles, porridge, etc).

31/05/2026: My daughter and I recently stayed at Avalon House Hotel and from the moment we walked through the door we felt so welcomed by Miriana. The Hotel is such a lovely place to stay. The rooms are immaculate and very clean. The dinner in the bar was sooo good and all the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially John who made our day :) Breakfast was really good too. It's easy to park and it's such a short drive into Kilkenny. I only wish we had stayed longer. We will definitely stay here again.

04/10/2026: We went there expecting a steakhouse, but unfortunately, there was only one steak on the menu, and the meat was very dry. I'll try something else next time. Other than that, the service and atmosphere were very nice. Thank you.

28/05/2026: Came with a tour bus. Even though they knew we were coming, they were not prepared. The two servers had no idea where to take it. Only options for the pub were pizza or salad.

24/05/2026: Fantastic staff and really nice heritage establishment surrounded by nature. Nothing was too much of an ask and we felt incredibly welcome. Beds were comfy, rooms spacious, clean and appropriately equipped. Would definitely return!

30/10/2026: Very good Fish & Chips. Unfortunately they do not accept cash, which is a big turn off for me.

16/10/2026: Only reason I would be going back is because of the cute Barman. I actually don’t like rockshore but I ordered 5 just as an excuse to talk to him. The toilets need to be cleaned more thoroughly as there was a poignant smell of farts circulating. What days does the Barman work ? The chips me and my Dad got were lovely but they took a while to be served. Is the Barman from Dublin because his accent has a bit of a twang to it? Thought the pub could also do with some live music.

17/10/2026: This was the first time being in this Diner. We were made welcome as soon as we arrived. Service was brilliant and food was the same. If passing well worth a visit and prices are very reasonable.

13/08/2026: Killarney Royal Townhouse was definitely the highlight of our trip. The service was outstanding, the room was incredible, and food was delicious. A personalized note and local treats were left for us when we arrived. We also received fresh scones at check out! These came in handy on a long train ride. The front desk staff was helpful at check in and with a small issue with the room window. For this very small inconvenience they offered us drinks in the restaurant another night. The turndown service with fresh water each night made us even more relaxed after long days exploring. Breakfast each morning was delicious. We enjoyed the made to order breakfast which was a nice treat after other hotels we stayed at. Also the location was perfect because you are walking distance to everything, but outside of all the activity. Everything was 5 star service! Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

15/09/2026: A magical Friday night at Barrtrá. The surprise menu was spectacular. Staff were wonderful, kind & fun. A roaring success for our besties birthday:)

14/09/2026: The worst restaurant of my life. Very low quality food. Extremely long wait times. In a restaurant with an €80 cover charge. The service, wait times, products, and dishes were among the worst I have ever eaten or experienced.
