10/09/2024: American here. Everyone reviews the food and service and that is all true. Awesome food and service. What I don’t think is stated enough is the wine, whisky, and cigar options for purchase. Also I was super surprised at the art gallery upstairs. I’m a cheapskate and would never pay the prices I see in local shops from local artists, but here I would pay. Good quality art. I was actually moved by it.

01/11/2024: Suelen was incredibly nice and had amazing recommendations. Personally I recommend the Tiara for a drink. Would recommend anyone to come to the bar for a fun time.

01/11/2024: Didn’t think the drinks were good enough to overcome the overall tedious experience. I sat waiting for a while until I had to beckon the waitress myself instead of being greeted. I asked her to recommend a house cocktail for me, and said I enjoyed “dry, bitter, complex, and amaro-like” flavors. The cocktail I was brought was fruity, floral, and sour - I took a few sips and had to call the waitress over to let her know it wasn’t to my liking. I ordered a second drink, one that I knew i’d enjoy, and it was fine. Once I finished, the staff was inattentive and did not come by to clear my glass and ask if I’d like another drink. It was not excessively busy: there were empty tables around me. I decided it was time to leave. When I was brought the bill, I was charged for both drinks, minus a discount of €2.50 for the €14 drink I barely touched before sending back. I would have understood maybe being charged half for the undrunk cocktail (would have been €7.50 off). But being charged over 75% for a cocktail I drank maybe 10% of felt absurd. The waitress could tell I was a bit offended and offered to comp the whole cocktail. But by that point the damage was done, and I left disappointed.

30/10/2024: I came with my granny and mum and never expected it to be so good, all their staff were so kind and nice and has a sense of humour that lit a smile, the food was on point as it tasted amazing and the layout of the dish was perfect, the restaurant is very chill and looks very Irish. definitely a come again

29/10/2024: Myself and 2 friends came here Friday night for dinner. We had a very quick 10 minute wait for a table and ordered a drink. The restaurant was quite busy but all the staff were so friendly and professional. the food was amazing too, compliments to the chef! Myself and one of the girls for fries and the BBQ boneless chicken. Our other friend got a burger and spice bag fries. everything was delicious and not one of us could actually finish the portion sizes. The cocktails were also very nice. This place is so reasonably priced and just a short walk from the city centre. We will defiantly return and would recommend to anyone. Well done to Harry and all the Team.

02/11/2024: Good fish and chips,but only in the context of Irish chippers. Irish chippers tend to have heavier, thicker, batter than those I grew up with in England, and I'm not a huge fan of that. The cod was nice, batter crispy and not too heavy, but not as good as Feeley's in Carlingford. The chips were actually slightly better, a little bit firmer, but portion size was smaller. The comparison is worthwhile, because they are both among the best chippers I've come across in Ireland, and both are a bit more expensive than the average. Don't take the atmosphere rating too seriously though, it's an open fronted Chipper with a counter and two serving staff; atmosphere isn't really something you should expect.

09/11/2024: The fish and chips were a delightful meal, but the ribeye steak, unfortunately, was quite chewy and full of gristle. The peppercorn sauce had a weird flavor. The service was impeccable, and the restaurant's modern, clean design was impressive. A more diverse beer menu would elevate the dining experience.

24/10/2024: Nice big under cover outdoor area, with two megga TV's. Very good food, at ok prices too.

22/10/2024: Absolutely disgusting food came out cold my 70 yr old mother told a member of staff she was very polite I was sitting while we where still there she said it to her managers as a joke while looking down with staff members my mom payed she had the cheek to turn around and say I need to get your 5 sent change from an other till I felt like they where trying to be smart with us I felt like we where a joke never again will I step foot in this place Absolutely horrible and we spent over 60 and the dust in the place with my daughter having ahma absolutely disgusting here 😒

03/11/2024: What a great little find. The Thai curry was nicer than you'd get in a Thai restaurant. The pineapple cheesecake is the best baked cheesecake in ireland. Staff very busy.

02/11/2024: Nice place and good breakfast but expensive and the staff was not welcoming or at least a bit more appreciative for the 26€ charging for an omelette, a piece of cake and coffee!

11/11/2024: Nice big room, however the water from the bathtub and shower were very dirty. There was some brown material gushing out every few seconds, see effect of this in picture attached. I asked for the night manager over the phone but no one came. When I showed the image to the staff at reception the following morning, they said that the water has been tested and deemed safe. Really not acceptable to not be able to shower staying at a 4 star hotel!

11/11/2024: Nice hotel in good location. Great location for events at the RDS or Aviva stadium. Situated right next to Herbert Park. Car park available.

09/11/2024: Friendly, spacious, welcoming bar. Plus a large screen and hall for sports and film screenings. Stocks the spot whiskeys.

28/10/2024: This pub became our evening go-to during the few days we spent in Galway! Local beers, typical homemade dishes served quickly and with a smile, we loved the Oslo Bar and its staff!

02/11/2024: Just popped in for a coffee. Laid back atmosphere and decor.

30/10/2024: We went for brunch, Great value, really nice menu. Did half portions for the kids. Waitresses were really good, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
