The Walter Raleigh in Youghal

What a lovely spot and a great crew running the place!! We stayed two nights on a DBB package and there were so many nice little touches. Rooms were lovely and modern and the food was AMAZING 👏 for breakfast dinner and the bar. We got complimentary scones and coffee on arrival. Can't wait to return for the summer. Jason looked after us when we were there and sorted our dinner and the rugby for us to watch and Brian in the bar was great and so friendly. Lovely hotel

We held an important family occasion here not so long ago. We cannot praise Michael and his staff enough for the way he and all the crew looked after us. From the organising of all the bedrooms with our various requests & the organisation of menus to suit us all , to then the service while we were there …. The bedrooms were spotless and so comfortable . The food was excellent and the service so friendly and so efficient. It really was the perfect night away with twenty two members of family and nothing whatsoever was too much trouble for them …. I would highly recommend and am very grateful for how we were looked after on our special occasion .

This was a return visit for my mom's 86th birthday. Had a great weekend. Staff were excellent. Michael the general manager gave us everything we requested and more. All staff including Dolores and Brian were brilliant even organising a surprise birthday dessert for mom. We will definitely be back

Had a lovely stay at Walter Raleigh at the weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely stunning the nicest I have had dining out in awhile. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side but it just gives us an excuse to come back and visit Youghal again. Highly recommended the hotel. Such good value for money.

After we checked in, we had an unexpected complementary tea and scone. It was a lovely welcoming gesture from the hotel. The following morning, there was an excellent selection of food for breakfast. And throughout our stay, the staff were both cheery and helpful.

Wonderful staff who really do their best to help you. Food was very good too. Yes, I will come back here.
