There is something so magical about soaking in that classic atmosphere while strolling past historic buildings 🏛️. Every corner I turned felt like stepping back in time, and the vibes were absolutely perfect. Of course, I made sure to indulge in the local food scene because everything I tasted was delicious 😋. It is honestly so refreshing to find a spot that feels this authentic and welcoming. The locals I met were incredibly kind and made my visit feel extra special. I truly loved connecting with such pleasant people while exploring the neighborhood 🗺️. Finding hidden gems like this always makes my day so much brighter. I am already dreaming about when I can return to this lovely destination again. 27/09/2026: This restaurant, unexpectedly close to the Old Head lookout, 10 km from Kinsale, is very informal and offers beautiful sea views. It offers simple seafood dishes and more. The service is good and friendly. It's worth a stop when you arrive close to lunchtime after enjoying the view of the cliffs.

15/08/2026: Busy Saturday evening, seated straightaway without booking, very busy whole area. Service and food excellent as always. 👏😍🍸🥳🍓🌮🥓 Reasonable prices see receipt. Commendations to man seating customers 👏👏 and male server behind bar (charged phone for me 👍) and Mark 👏👏 All staff working hard 🏋🙏

10/08/2026: Five stars all around. Popped in for late lunch / early dinner for a family of four this evening and we were greeting by friendly staff and a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious - the menu is extensive, including lots of gluten free and vegan options and great mocktails. Highly recommend the open house chicken burger!

12/08/2026: Pints are always okay although expensive. Had chicken wings and chips today and was very disappointed. Chicken was very dry and the chunky chips tasted very bad.

06/11/2026: Visited russels for the first time recently was really impressed by the food and service was looked after by the manager Damien had great recommendations and knowledge about the menu that helped us have a really enjoyable meal Definatley will be returning

25/10/2026: I’ve been back twice now since Russell’s has reopened and everything is amazing. The decor is stunning, they have done a fabulous job with the renovations. I’ve had both the evening menu and the carvery today and both were absolutely delicious, food is so fresh and honestly I can’t wait to return again. I would highly recommend. I was previously a customer before the revamp but had felt standards had previously slipped but the difference now is incredible.

10/05/2026: Had a lovely stay at Hannoras Cottage. The views are absolutely beautiful, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the food was fabulous. Such a warm, relaxing place to stay — would definitely recommend.

28/09/2026: Hannahs was so good it's making my boyfriend mad. Just about every day I look at this picture of the beautiful triple Decker BBQ club sandwich and side of egg salad I had during my trip to Ireland and get sad that I live on a different continent. It has consumed my thoughts. I need more of it in my life. I spent about €10 for the sandwich and egg salad. Went a little crazy and got some coffee cake for less than €3 and it was also fantastic

30/06/2026: Absolutely amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. It’s a wonderful family-run business, and every member of the team was genuinely kind, friendly, and couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we had one of the best night’s sleep we’ve had in a hotel. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious, with everything freshly prepared. You can really tell that the owners take great pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay!

03/09/2025: Nice place to have different types of food. We had chicken wings as starter that were marinated with hoisin sauce (Asian style) and we had the mussels in Asian style - also really delicious!

02/08/2026: My friend and I had dinner here last night and we'd highly recommend this place. The food and drink was of a very high quality and the service was excellent. There was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were so friendly.

04/07/2026: Was so glad we chose this hotel. I was a hot wary with the location but we were so welcomed from the moment we walked into when we walked out. Glad we listened to recommendations that the hotel food was gorgeous and ended up eating the two nights we were there. Kids loved it so much that the eldest said she's going to remember the room number and ask for that room when she's an adult

22/06/2026: Was visiting for a wedding and the location was perfect for what I needed. The room was pretty darn good, though the toilet was a little flakey when it wanted to flush. Receptionist was excellent, really helpful and informative, made it really easy to relax straight away because I trusted I was in good hands

03/10/2026: I live in Dublin and I’d take the two hour bus back just for this burger. It was absolutely delicious. Honestly a gem.
