01/11/2025: Honestly, the best most sincere welcome in a hotel ever from Ken at the door. The hotel was just spectacular in every way. The bar area and gardens were exquisite and what a view!!! We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The layout was great for a family of 4 however I would have liked a larger bed in the master bedroom. The only thing missing in the whole apartment was a mirror beside a plug socket for styling hair...I had to wing it without a mirror which meant I had a questionable hair style for the duration of our stay! The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were fabulous. We walked and bused it into city centre, bus is 5 min walk away or city centre is a 20 min walk. My advice, walk in and bus it back as its a steep climb up to the hotel. Get train to Cobh for an afternoon out or drive to Kinsale 40 mins away, it's beautiful! We hope to return to this little gem of a hotel in the future. Thanks so much Montenotte Hoyel!

18/09/2025: What a gem of a place, we’d been to the Deli the day before and bought some granola and flour, and had a take out coffee, so we were really looking forward to a late breakfast at Café Rua. First impressions were a fantastic welcome and real friendly people, nothing sham or pretend here. What a great menu, absolutely something for all tastes and dietary requirements. The chorizo, spinach and sautéed potatoes, topped with 2 perfectly poached eggs and accompanied with chilli relish was excellent. Real fresh orange juice was delightful, and the coffee? Epic! What a fabulous way to spend time being looked after in one of the best cafés I’ve visited.

26/08/2025: My husband and I popped into this cafe before our train needing a hearty meal served fast and couldn’t have wished for anything better. Our order was taken very quickly and the delicious food was served soon after. The breakfast came with coffee / tea. A much needed pick me up before a long journey. Thank you so much!

06/08/2025: Delicious food! This was recommended for my last lunch in Claremorris and did not disappoint Beautiful cappuccino Chicken chorizo , spicy mayo with chips Fresh and hot Friendly service with a smile ;-) Thank you so much for a lovely meal

19/10/2025: Super 3 star Hotel, excellent value. Although not many extras and frills, the rooms are large, clean and warm. Good large bed. The best facility are the staff, absolutely super, in the lounge, at dinner and at breakfast. The dining room us large, beautifully presented. Very impressed, would highly recommend. Parking is opposite the hotel, offering both long and short options.

12/10/2025: Lovely hotel for a short break. The rooms were spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly and especially the young lady in charge at breakfast time, I asked for very strong tea and yes I got it and even a couple of extra teabags just in case, super 👌 And the the next morning when we went down for breakfast this lady remembered and made sure I got tea the way I like it. To some this is not important, but I believe this is the the things that set really good staff apart from the others. Well done dooleys hotel.

15/09/2025: Very friendly and welcoming owners. We were allowed to sleep in the parking lot with our RV. Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly good. I would have given them 5 stars for their friendliness.

26/10/2025: Have been there a couple times recently for family events great selection of Malaysian and Asian dishes as well as steaks and seafood service and atmosphere are excellent

12/09/2025: Nice pub, nice staff. Quick service for getting a takeaway pizza on a rainy Friday night. Unfortunately pizza was a bit undercooked which I didn't notice until I was back at the hotel. Still ate most of it.

25/09/2025: Food is always good here - recommend trying the morrocan chicken or the pesto chicken pasta. Tasty, good portion sizes and as a bonus on a sunny day you can sit outside overlooking the harbour.

18/09/2025: A wonderful and very beautiful restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is good. I am from Egypt and I hope to work with them in this wonderful restaurant.

14/09/2025: Good stop offering good food. Plenty parking outside Toilets could need to be cared for a little more. Staff were very nice and very efficient. Lamb was lovely as was the homemade deserts

14/09/2025: Amazing hotel, truly a gem within the area of Killarney, perfect location for those wanting to have class, optimal routes for ring of Kerry and truly the best roast I’ve ever had outside of country Australia. The Guinness is perfect for the critic, complimented by tremendous service that puts a lot of “Major” hotel and restaurants to shame. 11/10 would recommend.

14/09/2025: We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. It is in a great location within Killarney, and the room was nice. The parking here is limited and tight. We decided just to park in a nearby lot since we were taking trips around the area. I would stay here again.

12/10/2025: We had fantastic evening at McSorleys. We came with our baby and pram and were so warmly welcomed and excellently looked after the whole time. Great food, great food, excellent service. Will definitely be back.

14/10/2025: A wonderful evening had by all hosted by Vicky !! Food was fabulous. Atmosphere homely and relaxed . If you’re in Galway city don’t miss out book in you won’t regret it !!

12/10/2025: Eggs Benedict was disgusting, hollandaise sauce was basically just congealed butter on top of rock hard bread that had clearly been sitting under heat lamps for far too long. Eggs overcooked, bacon swimming in grease. Tea was lukewarm. Ordered a cup of tea but was charged for a pot. Food was overpriced. Will not be returning
