The Speckled Door in

Visiting family in Kinsale, we went to the Speckled Door for lunch, amazing location overlooking the ocean, the food, atmosphere, scenery all so beautiful. Would definitely recommend the Speckled Door for lunch and a drink. Staff super efficient and courteous. Thank you as always for all in the Speckled Door for your wonderful attention and hospitality. Stopped by on the way to The Old Head of Kinsale, was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful view behind the premises upon entry, delicious bowl of seafood chowder for a reasonable price, welcoming staff, I will be back!

Food was nice but little to no staff were there working. What staff were there nice (couldn't have been more then a handful of waitresses ) but if I didn't Go up and ask for menus and stuff, we would have been ignored all day.

Great location, good vibe and great food, however the service provided was not great. We felt a little forgotten, having to ask to be served, a few things forgotten. Would love to go back but a little disappointed with the service.

Went there for a pint and take in the view from an outside table on a lovely sunny day.

Great food - top tip: mussels, friendly service, amazing view of the sea.

Great BLT with real ham, chips tasty as they were not frozen, it's a proper pub too to have a drink,

Stayed overnight in out motorhome, we were made very welcome, it was such a beautiful day we took a walk on the nearby beach whitch was quite busy with touristsandlocals alike. Additionally we went down to the harbour and people watched, the young and more able than ourselves were paddling and jumping into the sea from the pier. We had lunch dinner and the following days breakfast in the speckled door, fabulous food very reasonably priced, delicious.

Great place to get food and on a lovely day you can eat outside with the best views. We'll worth stopping

Delicious fresh seafood and a great Guinness ! Sitting in the garden was glorious.
