Bulgaden Castle in

Lovely place, very friendly staff. Food was lovely. There is plenty of parking.

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Bulgaden Castle in Kilmallock. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were blown away by the hospitality. Our host was exceptionally warm and welcoming, which instantly set a wonderful tone for the entire evening. Upon learning it was our very first visit, she went completely above and beyond by taking us on a personal tour of the property. She showed us the charming pub area, the beautifully appointed dining room, and their massive event space. She explained that they host a fantastic Sunday dinner in that larger room, which looked like the perfect setting for a big family gathering. When it came time to order, we decided to trust her expertise and deferred to her recommendations for the evening specials. We ordered the roast pork and the classic bacon and cabbage. Both dishes were absolutely outstanding, packed with traditional flavor and perfectly prepared. Paired with great drinks, the meal provided the absolute perfect end to an adventurous day of exploring. Bulgaden Castle is a true gem in Kilmallock.

Attended Bulgaden Castle for a family reunion and everything was excellent. The food was absolutely fabulous and the staff are top class. Three people in the group have coeliac disease so need to eat gluten free - the staff were so knowlegdable about gluten free and we had so much choice. I had the seabass and the pavlova and both were gorgeous. Highly recommend!

The food here is gorgeous, I had Malaysian chicken, and it was delicious. I have never been disappointed with a meal here. The staff are really lovely too. So helpful and friendly.

The food is very nice and loads of options for vegetarians etc. The price is very reasonable for the quality of food served. The staff are excellent, brilliant with children and very patient when taking orders. There's a nice atmosphere while eating and for family occasions this allows guests to chat among themselves without much background noise. Well worth a visit and a credit to the owners and staff.
