Mabel Crawford's Bistro, menu in Cork

Came with a tour bus. Even though they knew we were coming, they were not prepared. The two servers had no idea where to take it. Only options for the pub were pizza or salad.

I had a fantastic stay at Cork's Vienna woods hotel. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very spacious. There is a restaurant and bar at the hotel. I really enjoyed the location of the hotel.

The venue was gorgeous and had an easy to navigate website. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, eg kettle/tea, iron, hairdryer. The beds were too soft for 2 of my colleagues, so they didn’t sleep well at all, but I was fine. The staff were incredibly rude at check in and check out. Considering how much we paid for the room, I expected better customer service. We didn’t even get a smile at check in. The girl was rude, didn’t speak to me while processing my payment (not asking me to choose GBP or EU using her words, she just shoved the card reader in my face, even though I asked for clarification). Upon making the reservation, I notified the hotel that we would have a very late check in and even gave them an estimated time of arrival. The hotel called me the day before I left to confirm my reservation, so I clarified my late check in and assured them I’d be there before “late check in” started. As promised, I was well within my time frame, but received another phone call from the front desk during travel asking where I was and if I was going to be any longer. I was so confused, taken aback and really insulted. When we arrived, she didn’t apologies for her eagerness (which I can only assume was because she just wanted to go home, greet us warmly or even make me feel like we were welcome at all.
