We had a luxurious dinner, the monkfish and lamb were delicious. It has been a very pleasant night thanks to María's kindness and professionalism.

Incredible oysters, lovely broccoli and vegetable soup, great beer. Nice vibe and friendly service Update: came back for more oysters, have had 18 now and all absolutely fantastic. Great pub for rugby too on the bar side

Great food and reasonable pricing

We had a beautiful meal there tonight. The restaurant is recently touched up and looks amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful, as was the food. It was so tasty and satisfying and we had 4 courses (delicious oysters as a 2nd) plus tea and coffee for under €100 total. Couldn't recommend more highly. Visit and enjoy!

Food was fantastic! Went there for a classic fish and chips and it did not disappoint; the portions of fish were very generous and incredibly delicious. They also offered a nice range of local alcohols which was lovely. I'll definitely be going back next time I make a Kinsale trip.

Had a meal here today with friends visiting from the UK, and from start to finish it was truly exceptional . I visit kinsale a lot and have kind of skirted over Jim Edwards as an option ,in favor of others , and what a mistake , it was so so so good , reasonable and great service . My dining companions Were super impressed and were raving about it after . A special shout-out to the fantastic waiting staff , in particular our waitress , didn’t get her name but she had blond hair and was an absolute asset to the place . Thanks again , will be recommending here to many .

Nice food good service friendly staff

We had a gorgeous family meal for four. I had the duck breast which was perfectly cooked, my husband had the monkfish which he reckoned was the best he ever ate. The children had fish and burger and enjoyed it. The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was just right. Would highly recommend Jim Edwards!

Very good food with very reasonable price, good environment and good service as well

We had a lovely booth in the bar, so cozy looking forward to our meal, which was excellent, we could not stay for dessert because of a family with kids screaming and making a fuss in the booth behind us, people at a table nearby moved up into the bar, the parents didn't take any notice of them, such a pity, but we will be back for the excellent food, Ann
