The Old Thatch in Killeagh

If i could give them 10 stars i would. The staff are so friendly and service was so quick. I got a take away halloumi burger and it was ready very fast. I have to say it was simply delicious!! Just absolutely amazing so fresh and tasty i enjoyed every bite even the chips were so tasty. Highly recommend it! The value of the food is well worth the price!

Food and beer was excellent. We sat in the bar area as the restaurant area was full they warned us our order may be slow. We prepared for the worst but had our beers so we weren't too worried. Food was fast and the two ladies that helped us were pleasant. We would go back 👍👍

We recently had my sons Confirmation with family and friends in the Thatch, from start to finish everything was absolutely superb! The food was incredible, the service was 100%. A great spot for any occasion and hats off to Debbie and all the staff for a really enjoyable experience. Everyone in attendance was amazed with the food and service!

Really great beef stew 😋 Busy spot .

We had Sunday lunch. 3 adults 2 kids. Simply top class. Beef was most tender beef I’ve had for years. Catered for Gluten free child no problem. Staff, each & everyone of them as nice as the other. They couldn’t accept a tip by card, went back with cash as they made our meal so pleasant. These local businesses deserve our support all year round. Great menu, great meal & great experience. Only thing I’d change was the candle smell at reception, slightly overpowering but I had to pick something to improve. Well done to all.

Fantastic food with excellent service

Stopped off for a meal on the way back from Fota wildlife, Steak sandwich was amazing. I’d honestly drive the 2 hours just for another! On top of that we were seated next to the legend of the darts player Stephen Bunton! Was too shy to get a picture but the staffs excited was enough!

Lovely server, tasty food, great prices, beautiful interior. All around, a lovely place to grab a bite and a pint
