We had my boyfriends 40th here. We hired the boat for 4 hours for drinks and it really was an unbelievable night. Very special experience. Everything was perfect. The staff on this boat are brilliant, they looked after us so well.

We celebrated my sister's hen party on Saturday on the Canal Boat Restaurant and hired the boat for 2 hours. It was such a brilliant experience from start to finish and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Big shout out to Jaya who was there to answer all my emails to organise the event. She was also there on the day and was such a pleasure to deal with. The whole team were so helpful and friendly. The Canapes served were delicious. We hooked our music up to the sound system via Bluetooth and we all had a ball, an experience not to be forgotten and it's all down to the team. If you are planning a private event, don't think twice, book the Canal Boat Restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful! We went to celebrate our anniversary and the food was delicious. I'd like to mention that all the staff were so kind and attentive, especially Eliana who spent the whole evening looking after us. Thank you so much, guys, you're the best! ♥️♥️

The team 5 stars, the boat 5 stars, the service 5 stars - food very tasty but far too little for grown men 3 stars, the trip 1 star - a slow journey of about 1 km there and back again without turning around...and that in 2 hours...for half the price maybe OK but not for 60 euros per person.

We had a fantastic evening on the canal boat trip. Great fun and unique experience in Dublin city. Food was excellent and really great friendly polite staff. Great music with some Irish traditional songs. Excellent

Had an absolutely amazing time celebrating my friends’ stag on the canal boat restaurant this past Saturday (21/03/26)! From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The boat was spotless, beautifully set up, and created such a unique atmosphere for the occasion. The staff were incredible—friendly, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly all day. A special shout out to Jaya, who was always at the end of the phone and email in the lead-up, answering every question and making the whole planning process stress-free. Couldn’t recommend this experience enough. We’ll definitely be booking again!

17/08/2026: We honestly cannot recommend Taphouse highly enough. We had our wedding party here and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The team were incredible; attentive, professional and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we and our guests had a wonderful time. Nothing was too much trouble, and their attention to detail made the whole experience completely stress-free. The atmosphere was perfect, relaxed and welcoming, but still felt really special. Our guests loved it, and we received so many lovely comments afterwards. The food was excellent and everything came out beautifully. There was a great selection, the quality was fantastic, and the team were brilliant at making sure everyone was looked after. The drinks were also great, and the service was second to none. Most importantly, Taphouse gave us the perfect setting to relax and celebrate our day with our friends and family. A huge thank you to the whole team for helping make our day so memorable. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our wedding party and would recommend Taphouse to anyone.

03/07/2026: A really cool bar where you can easily strike up a conversation and have fun. A very open and fun crowd, friendly and attentive staff. We had a great time. Reasonable drink prices.
