19/07/2025: Our B&B host recommended this place to us, and we were very happy we went there. It was very busy, but the staff worked hard and we got served quite quickly. The food was great, as was the atmosphere. Plus, as always outside of Dublin, we were nicely surprised by the prices 😉

13/08/2025: Last minute dinner decision with my wife on vacation. A few minutes after being seated the waitress became dismissive; never spoke to us again until I went looking for the bill. My dinner was excellent but my wife’s was devoid of flavor. The explanation was it was fresh fish. Huh?! Anyway the dismissive attitude of the server and subsequent condescending behavior of the floor manager were free of charge even though an uneaten meal was full price. Too bad, the restaurant was highly recommended.

08/08/2025: OUTSTANDING! We enjoyed our “date night” dinner here on the advice of friends while staying in Malahide. The food was incredible…from crab claws to Dover sole and Fillet steak…it was all perfect. The atmosphere is buzzing, the service is professional, friendly and attentive. All of which made the experience an incredible value.

18/08/2025: I don't know how you can run a hotel without a second escape route. It's marked on the plans, but the doors are locked and the stairs don't exist.

17/08/2025: Walked past this hotel many times when I was studying in the 'college of knowledge' over 30 years ago. A magnificent hotel history established as far back s 1845 and restored 1921 after being bombed in the rising of 1916; the breakfast room with high ceilings and wide windows (tax must have been expensive) let you look out at the hustle and bustle of the beautiful fair city of Dublin. You could see people trying to get to work on the luas, meaning speed in Irish language (light rail tram system). The Wynn has an outstanding staff throughout the hotel from the front door, the reception desk(Ava), the breakfast room and the cleaners. It is located so central for the public transports, a walk through O'Connell street with many historical sites including the new sculpture Spire (new for me), you could walk to the both ends of the Liffey river with one end to The Point. You could cross the haypenny bridge very nearby to Temple Bar, the Brazen Head and stroll back in the wee hours. The doors are locked by 11pm but the hotel will let you in when you return. The breakfast has the continental option with many choices of cereals etc and the Irish breakfast are inclusive in the hotel room rates. Service here in the breakfast room is as good as the 4 or 5 star hotels I am used to (not trying to brag but to praise the young staff). The hotel room was clean, comfortable with a nice bed, curtains and a modern bathroom. The blinds helped kept the room dark and fit for a good night sleep. The other good points were the overall cleanliness was fantastic, spacious and the hotel staff were very helpful. Definitely would recommend Wynn hotel over others that I know like the Westbury, the Shelbourne and the Merrion.

13/07/2025: Really good selection of food, quite traditional but very good quality. They also have a great gluten free menu which was very welcome for our group. Our servers were very friendly and efficient.

06/05/2025: I had a wonderful lunch today at Chapter Twenty at the Mill Park Hotel. I started with a pint of Guinness, the lunch special was roasted leg of lamb with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Absolutely delicious!! I normally don’t get dessert, but I was tempted by the Baileys cheesecake. It was served with the dip of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and strawberries. It was wonderful! I ended the meal with a Baileys coffee which was made perfectly. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable! I definitely recommend this restaurant with five stars!

26/08/2025: I was there for a drink. They have a great selection of cocktails in reasonable prices. I recommend. Everyone was really nice and service was fast.

17/08/2025: I used to eat breakfast here all the time, I hadn't been in 3 / 4 years as I now live in London, I was back for puck, I went in 2 days after puck craving an Irish breakfast but it isn't what it was, its like cutbacks have been made and the quality of the breakfast just isn't there anymore which is an awful pity 😢

10/08/2025: Our family of 2 adults & 3 kids enjoyed a lovely meal here recently as a treat while camping in the nearby campsite. The curry & linguini were delicious, the pizza's are large enough for the kids to share two. The staff were friendly & efficient. We would highly recommend Byrne & Woods.

06/08/2025: At 6:00 PM we wanted to make a reservation for 7:30 PM but were told it wasn't necessary. At 7:30 PM it was full and we would have to wait an hour. No excuse, that's a shame.

18/08/2025: The rooms looked clean and had a good size. Wide range of products during breakfast & friendly staff. Downside: 30min drive to city centre (€30 one way taxi), bit too far if you go for one night. Go to the airport early enough, traffic during morning/evening rush hours is horrible.

11/08/2025: We hosted our wedding at The Springfield Hotel and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The team was extremely professional, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and patient. Their flexibility and wealth of experience made the entire planning process so much easier, and on the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. Special shoutout to Sean and Lynn, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect — we are truly grateful for all your hard work. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated team. Highly recommended!

31/07/2025: Ate here with my family last night and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely menus for both adults and kids. I got the big burger, it came with chips and it was tasty tasty. Young fella got the popcorn chicken with chips and it was spot on for him. We all had desserts, delish. The staff working there were very nice and we felt well looked after. Good music being played too that even had my smallest fella up bopping about. Lastly, big shout out to the Belgian waffle 🧇.

10/08/2025: Lovely location, We only had drinks but the Hotel looks clean and really well kept. The Staff were friendly and welcoming. We'll be back.
