23/03/2025: Great food here and nice atmosphere to be enjoyed - especially in the outside area. Food was good and brought quickly to the table, tea included in large breakfast. Lovely staff and easily approachable. Our server Leah was a lovely young girl who looked after our group excellently. She was very attentive and brought anything we needed to our table with no fuss. She checked in with us to make sure everything was good. Five stars to Leah⭐️

But there's no cold water from the faucet, no handheld showerhead, and it's very difficult to adjust the temperature.

15/02/2025: The food here is lovely but the toilets leave a lot to be desired. Dirty underside of toilet seat, urine on toilet pan, pedal bin not working, no hand towels, encrusted dirt and scum in the corners and on the skirting, no hygiene chart. It's a really simple thing to keep clean. If the toilets are this unsanitary how dirty is the kitchen? I won't come back.

Food very varied, great choice, and very reasonably priced. Staff very helpful and attentive. A must visit for everyone, anyone passing through this beautiful place!
06/04/2025: Staff were very kind and welcoming. Food was delicious. We were in for mother's day and the owner gave a bouquet of roses to every mammy in the restaurant. A very thoughtful gesture. Will definitely be back again!

25/03/2025: Wow! Had my Birthday Party in the Ruby Room last Saturday night. Tara and her staff are amazing and left no stone unturned to ensure my guests and I had a fabulous night. The Gourmet platters were delicious, with special dietary requirements and latecomers provided for with no fuss. The floor managers, waiting and bar staff were so friendly, professional & attentive. No request seemed too much trouble for them as they catered for my 70+ guests, in the tastefully decorated Ruby Room with apparent ease.Their resident Dj kept us on the dance floor late into the night! I could not have asked for more!Thanks guys for helping make my special night a truly memorable one.

13/12/2024: Called in for lunch today. There was a good few people in restaurant. I was shown a table straight away and given a menu plus the specials of the day. I chose the fish pie special and a pint of orange cordial. Food and drink arrived promptly. The fish pie was out of this world, nice creamy mash with no lumps and plenty of fish in it. There was also serving of veg on the side which were how I like them, not overcooked.This was a good hearty meal served on time by lovely staff. Will definitely be back for more. Congrats to the owners and staff on the running of the Arches.
