08/06/2026: Got the fish and chip and it wasn't great. The pint left a lot to be desired too. The barman was on the ball but personally I won't be back.

31/05/2026: I should have known as soon as I saw it being served cafeteria style. I chose the roast beef and saw that gravy wasn't going to make this any less dry. A smarter version of myself would've turned around and left but my hunger makes bad decisions. The plate looks beautiful, for a moment its looks gave me hope. Im going to make a guess that this food was not cooked today, possibly not even yesterday, but reheated several times under that heat lamp. Personally Id feel criminal charging what I paid for this.

24/02/2026: Absolutely brilliant spot for lunch/coffee and bring home your dinner too with their full range of homemade bakes - quiche, scones, tarts, potatoe bread, the list is endless. High quality dine in or take away. The standard of yhe food is wholesome healthy tasty goodness! The staff are attentive and excellent! Its a must if in Castlerea!

08/06/2026: This Supermac’s branch is located inside a petrol station and operates as a takeaway only, with no dine-in seating available. The food is what you would expect from Supermac’s - consistent and of standard quality. One thing to be aware of is that parking can be a bit challenging at busy times, as the car park is quite limited in size. Overall, it’s a convenient option for a quick takeaway when you’re passing through. A positive experience, look forward to dining again soon!

19/05/2026: Foley's is an exceptional hotel in Killlarny Ireland! Celebrating 77 years. Staff really took great care of us, so appreciate it! Food was delicious, we had breakfast added. So worth it. Do stay there if you go to Killlarny, such a great location as well!

28/12/2025: Visited for a couple of drinks. Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Front areas clean and tidy. Back areas bit rundown. Toilets need to be attended more often. Not good!

30/05/2026: Popped in while out for a drive and we were delighted we did. Food was just unbelievable, so fresh and generous portions. Staff very friendly and pints were perfect.

29/05/2026: I visited Malones Galtee Inn yesterday with a group of friends. Overall, it was a very positive experience, though one detail on the main order fell a bit short. The Food & Drinks Chicken Cranberry & Stuffing Wraps (3/5): We ordered two of these. Unfortunately, there was no cranberry inside the wrap, which was very disappointing. On the bright side, the presentation was excellent, and the accompanying potato salad was absolutely amazing—a solid 5/5! Kids' Spaghetti: Absolutely delicious! The portion size was great for a child. Side Salads: Very tasty and served in generous, large portions. Drinks: The beer was top-class and served perfectly. Service & Atmosphere Staff: The service was lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Cleanliness: The restaurant is exceptionally clean, and the toilets were spotless and well-maintained.

03/05/2026: The food here is very good.I have not been here in a long time but the standard of dishes is excellent . I had the feather blade of beef and it was the nicest I've had to date. The deserts are standard enough but lovely all the same.Staff are very friendly and efficient. It's a lovely spot for dining and watching live sports. We will be visiting more regularly.

19/04/2026: I live near the Black Bull and we probably visit it about once a year or so. It's never been great. I went on Saturday, 18/4/2026 at 6pm with my wife and 2 friends. The prices had jumped up. I ordered a €36 10 ounce Rib Eye steak and it was the worst steak I've had in my life in a restaurant. I buy €8 Sirloin steaks in Lidl most weekends and cook better than whatever stand-in chef you had working that night. It was given a very thin and overcooked low quality steak. The chips were nice... but the main event, the most important part of the meal was bad. In hindsight, I think they gave me the cheaper 6 ounce Sirloin and overcooked it when I asked for medium. Also charging €2 for at thimble sized pot of peppercorn sauce was robbery. There were very limited starter options, in fact there was only a "small plates" option no individual starters. I had asked for another glass of wine from a waitress but it never came. As usual, every time I go to the Black Bull, there's quality, service and menu issues. But messing up a €36 steak is bad. I hear from others the owner is more concerned opening up some pizza bar and probably dropped the ball badly in the Black Bull. Not impressed...

20/04/2026: What a delight! Both the Café itself and the food. It was a pleasure to visit again, the food was excellent, the staff were amazing and the Sunday lunch was a treat for a tired passer by. With options for changes of the meals to make them suitable for various diets, large portions and accompanied with excellent coffee, this place is well worth a trip on its own.

16/06/2026: Very disappointing dining experience at The Castle Inn! The food was just passable. The restaurant was cold, soulless and smelled of detergent. Staff lovely but we won't be back!
