04/07/2026: The food here is super. Delicious, good portions and the atmosphere is great. Mú sister and mum always get the chowder and I get the wings.

03/07/2026: I regularly go there as I like their coffee. Salads are amazing and they do small bowls. A good bit of bar space to sit when alone and a lovely terrace when the sun is out.

30/06/2026: Another delicious meal at the Whitford, family occasion, just 4 of us, we didn't book but luckily got a table, late Saturday afternoon, there were a number of large groups doing likewise so the staff were very busy but friendly and efficient as always. The sticky toffee pudding and the strawberry daiquiri were top notch, sadly no featherblade steak on the menu this time but enjoyed the double burger, my husband was very happy with his monkfish scampi, the others got sizzling prawns and blackened salmon, all very tasty and good size portions as always. Looking forward to our next visit.

13/06/2026: Lunch stop on our way through town. We had chicken wraps (1 Cajun & 1 sweet and sour). They were both full with chicken and salad and very tasty. Service was lovely and very friendly, despite being quite busy.

17/02/2026: Don't go in on your own as they clearly would prefer to utilise tables than welcome all customers. They treated my daughter appallingly as she was alone, she wanted lunch and was home for Christmas. Greed at the end of the day gets you nowhere. None of us will go there now.

01/07/2026: I don’t normally post reviews but feel compelled to do so today. We called in here for a meal on a Wednesday evening. Can’t complain about the food or service. Food was great and Staff were very nice. Unfortunately there was live music on and it was uncomfortably loud. The two singers were very good but could have carried the show without the use of a microphone and loudspeakers. No one could have a conversation and even the staff could hardly hear what we were saying to them. At one point, my son showed the sound level on his phone at over 100 decibels. That’s fine for a night out if you want it but not for a restaurant in my opinion. Such a shame as it took away from the night.

21/06/2026: Absolutely loved this place. We had not booked (8 of us), but they moved a few chairs and made room. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the food was really lovely. Well worth a visit.

08/07/2026: We don't go out eating often, but the Stone Haven is second to none from the friendly service and professional friendly staff to the fantastic food we were served , I would highly recommend it's cost atmosphere is beautiful.i had the chicken stir fry main my wife Turkey and Ham , Beautiful , starter breaded mushrooms and wings highly recommend ,

17/06/2026: What a gem to find around the corner from our AirBnB. Breakfast is amazing. Plenty of choice, everything cooked to order. Even paying separately was no bother. Meant to buy cake too but didn't get the chance. If you're nearby, this place is The Breakfast Place.

02/07/2026: Recently had a mediocre carvery lunch here. Service was ok but then the place wasn't busy. On the plus side there's plenty of free parking & it's accessible.

11/05/2026: Me and the wife arrived today just after 11:40, we were then waiting for 10 minutes before we seen any staff, I asked could be we order breakfast, the waitress said she didn't think so, they were finished for lunch but she would check with the chef, who which ultimately said no. We left before 12, even though the menu says breakfast served until 12.

20/07/2026: Enjoyed stopping by the Summit Inn. We sat outside and had a nice, relaxing time. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and it's a nice spot to grab a drink after exploring Howth.

14/07/2026: We arrived here at noon and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious and there was lots of space to eat outside with our dogs. The prices were very reasonable and the portion size was large. We would definitely return.
