Bar Rua in Dublin

Apart from the truly awful toilet situation (two out of three urinals were broken), the bar was actually quite cool. The service was friendly and the nachos tasted good.

The food was delicious, and the staff were very kind.

Food is amazing, the place is buzzing and the location is great! This bar is a Must Visit!

I couldn’t even wait until the morning to write this review, this bar is so good! We had hot chicken wings and fish&chips - tastiest we’ve had in Dublin so far! Also, the portions are big for a hungry girl, service is great, staff are quick and polite! Honestly, this is a must for Dublin’s food scene.

Afternoon of beers with a great atmosphere

Relaxing & cozy spot for dinner in March 2026. No wait for family of 5 at 6pm on a Tuesday. Server/bar tender on the 1st floor was very helpful & attentive. Kids enjoyed the chips, pasta, chicken. For adults: bangers & mash was good but beef stout stew was best.

Great place to watch some sports and grab a pint. Food is great as well. Staff is very hospitable and make sure you are taken care of.

First timer in Dublin looking for something traditional close to the hotel before going out exploring, can say I was quite pleased, prices are also in line with what you’d expect for Dublin and the staff was quite nice and kind. Bangers and Mash and also the Coors were insanely good, deffo worth a revisit.
