Carlingford Arms in Carlingford

Food is lovely comes out on a sizzling plate . Gave us complimentary soup and bread all-in great date nite.

Was in here for a hen party on Saturday and the service was absolutely brilliant. Owner and staff were all totally professional, organised and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you for making our day. The food was beautiful too.

Had a beautiful meal here tonight. Complimentary soup because there might be a long wait for the meal..... nice touch! Service was very efficient and courteous. Meal was hot and fresh! Lovely wine. Would definitely recommend.

We dropped in for a few drinks on a Saturday evening. The bar was busy but not too busy, we just about got a seat. A female singer started playing about half an hour after we arrived and I must say she was very good. She sang a good variety of songs and the volume was just perfect. You could still have a conversation without having to shout at each other like in a lot of bars. The atmosphere in the bar was good and service too. As far as Carlingford goes this is one of the few bars you can go to on a Saturday evening without having to put up with crowds of youngsters and banging music. I definitely recommend this bar for a nice drink and a bit of light entertainment at the weekend. I can't comment on the food in the restaurant yet but I will definitely be back to try out the steak night offer they have advertised for a Friday night. As promised we returned for the steak night. The food was very nice although the steaks are a bit small but then again it was only €40 for two steaks. They were cooked exactly as requested and very tasty. The banoffee pie for dessert was excellent and homemade. Definitely worth a visit on steak night but you may have to book as it was very busy. Service was very good too.

We as a party of 13 had lunch. Unfortunately a lot of our party got delayed through no fault of there’s. The pub were so great in keeping the table for us. The food was amazing and the staff were so kind and courteous. Would definately recommend this pub.

Great food, fish was really fresh, friendly staff, would visit again

Brilliant service, lovely food! Worth a trip for sure.

Great food. Good atmosphere. Good Beer. Great staff. Perfect all round.

2 adults 2 teens went for dinner with no reservation. Was fairly busy and in fairness the head waitress got us a table within 5.mins. food was lovely. 1 Lasagna, 1 chicken sizzler, 1 breaded chicken and I had the fish and chips. All was lovely. My only complaint would be the fish was a bit small and not many chips with it. But was beautiful. Would definitely return. They were eager to get tables back as the kids were still eating and they were offering desert menus to myself and my wife which felt a little rushed but in fairness we had no reservations to start with so I wouldn't have a major issue with.

Fantastic food and atmosphere, we love coming here and they never let us down. One of the best in Carlingford, staff are friendly, attentive and go out of their way to help.
