Our room was in the main house and was beautiful, comfortable and had everything that we needed.
Breakfast was included and was delicious 🌟
Dinners were spectacular and the staff were ALL so very welcoming.
We thank you all for such a special weekend 🥰
22/03/2024: Magical place in the most enchanting town.....We had a private function in Ghan House for my mother's 60th in February. Everyone was blown away by the food and hospitality. Definitely worth a visit to their restaurant, if not for an overnight stay. Staff are friendly and welcoming - could not do enough for us.

01/04/2024: I absolutely recommend trying their mushroom and chicken vol-au-vent for starters; it's a delicious choice. The cauliflower tempura is accompanied by a fantastic sauce that adds an extra layer of flavor. And if you have a sweet tooth, their cheesecake has always been a favorite of mine. Overall, the food here is consistently great!

Used to great curries in Yorkshire but this place is amazing.. different, not overly spiced but best combinations of flavours. Not forgetting really friendly staff & lovely little restaurant.
Just had our left overs for dinner tonight.
We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you!!

17/12/2023: Small cosy pub, good pints, football on the TV and no loud music. Sure what more would you want? Good pints of Guinness and the bar staff are on the ball. I haven't eaten here but plan to in the near future as the food looks like good pub grub. Can be difficult to get a seat in the bar area at the weekends. Been back here quite a few times but today was the first time we ate here. Small enough menu but I really enjoyed the fish and chips. Service was quite quick, portions quite big and the food was tasty.

30/03/2024: This was our second stay at McKevitt's, and just as it was last year, it was a pleasure. We enjoyed a friendly welcome, and the staff were attentive to our needs. What a relaxing, friendly place! The breakfasts are superb, and the dinner and afternoon teas were also delicious. Manager Terry was helpful with suggestions for our daily plans, and we appreciated his good humor when we realized we had mistakenly called him by the wrong name for three days! All in all, a comfortable and convenient place to stay in this charming village. I think we'll be back.

24/02/2024: Called in for the first time and I'm not over exaggerating when I say I had the freshed nicest tastiest irish breakfast I've ever had. ,my partner is vegan so she had spinach with eggs and mushrooms and also thought it was delicious. Very reasonable price ..Will definitely call in next time we're in carlingford
21/02/2024: I've visited Liberty Cafe several times, the food is wonderful, and the service is second to none.
It may be small in size, but it is certainly a heavyweight contender in the food sector of the area. The specials are always tasty, and they always have a fantastic selection of tray bakes to accompany your teas & coffees.

11/03/2024: We attended PROPER for a beautiful meal where our tastebuds were certainly tantalised beyond belief. The chicken wings were 10/10 and the chicken curry was to die for. I KNOW that everybody who attended the Hen Party would certainly recommend PROPER to their friends and family. A huge well done to the gentleman waiter who clearly has acrobatic balancing skills. We will be back again soon. Thank you team PROPER from team BRUCE.
