The best restaurants in Carlingford

29/06/2025: This place was recommended to us and it did not disappoint, the toastys are like nothing we had eaten before! My kids can be hard to please, but they really loved the food! It's Run by nice people and it's a cool place! Remember everyone, it's street food! Don't go there expecting Michelin Star table Service! Just good quality grub on the street!

31/08/2026: We had a few starters here a few weeks ago, the food was beautifully presented and tasted great! Our waitress Nessa was absolutely brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you.

27/06/2026: This restaurant definitely the best in Carlingford, and great value for imaginative, fresh, perfectly executed food. Crab creme brûlée was a delight, the oysters deliciously fresh and seafood seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend this friendly, unpretentious place that serves food to be proud of!

09/08/2026: Great food and service Billy nobody else around when we went

08/08/2026: Great place for food and excellent staff. This pub is a few minutes walk away from the cluster of pubs in the centre and probably doesn't get the crowd it deserves. Food last night was fabulous and breakfast this morning was too. Also, very well priced. The crab claws were beautiful. I highly recommend walking a few minutes down the road to this little gem.

19/08/2026: A great night out but drinks are expensive

12/08/2026: Previous visits to this public have been disappointing due to the loud volumn of the background music. This visit proved much more comfortable... Perhaps it because it was mid week. Anyway great pints great service this time around so will be back

25/08/2026: Had a takeaway from here at the weekend, it was really tasty. The portions were huge and what I really couldn't get over was just how clean it was.

30/07/2026: Called at 4:45 for a single pizza for collection Said it’d be 25 minutes. I agreed. Arrived at 5:00, told me it’d be a few more minutes. Fair enough, expected. 15 minutes pass, I ask how much longer and he says 5 more minutes. I wait at the store for another ~8 minutes, nothing yet. It’s now 5:28, and the pizza I called in for 45 minutes ago for collection isn’t ready. During my wait, people have come in, placed their order, and received it before I got my single pizza. I left for store until ~5:35 to see my pizza finally ready on the hot rack. 50 minutes for collection. This isn’t to mention how absolutely awful the pizza itself was. Gummy cheese, Tomato base that seems it was made with thoughts of tomato, not actual tomatoes, A dough base that felt like it was worse than a slice of bread, Bell peppers that genuinely tasted like nothing, Chicken that was completely flavourless. The pizza was impossible to get through. And I can eat anything.

10/10/2026: Cannot provide minus 5 star review - deeply unpleasant manager or indeed assumed manager this evening who would negate my further attendance ever again and very poor bar service throughout - Mark OD

18/09/2026: We waited 40 minutes for mediocre food. I’m pretty sure they brought in the groceries for our dinner about 20 mins after we ordered. Keeping in mind the restaurant was open for an hour at this stage. The tables and the water jugs were all dirty. The toilets were dirty and had no designated lady’s facility’s. We were also brought the wrong food. To top it all off at the end where charged a 10% service fee mandatory for a table of 4 and then they only accepted cash.

18/09/2026: Had a beautiful meal here tonight. Freshly cooked, staff attentive and friendly. Very reasonably priced. Excellent service
