10/05/2026: Astonishing experience, the food was beyond of superb, staff attentive and friendly since we stepped into the pub. The atmosphere preserve all the goods from their region. I highly recommend all intens in the menu, specifically the chowder and the mussels. If you are around do not miss this restaurant. Well done to the whole team.
10/05/2026: Lovely service let a group of wheelchair user us the beer garden. Put the heaters on as it was a dry chilly day. Service was excellent. Best sticky toffee pudding I ever had.

You couldn't get better!!

22/06/2026: We came here a few times for a pint. Came back because the food we saw coming from the kitchen looks stellar. I had the burger and it was quite nice. My wife had the chowder and she said it was great. And a larger portion.
The service was very good too. We were checked in a few times and the drinks were waiting for us at our table when we arrived. Great place.

30/06/2026: The fish came with plain boiled broccoli and carrots with no flavour or effort, and the salad was very basic. Overall, the food felt overpriced and did not meet expectations at all.
20/06/2026: We walked in, they were fully booked but they let us sit at the bar and order from there, but eventually they sat us. The garlic mushroom starter was amazing as were our 2 mains: 1. Sea bass with lemon, dill served with vegetables and Curry with M
onkfish. Highly recommend this restaurant. The staff was also very friendly and took great care of us.

29/06/2025: This place was recommended to us and it did not disappoint, the toastys are like nothing we had eaten before! My kids can be hard to please, but they really loved the food! It's Run by nice people and it's a cool place! Remember everyone, it's street food! Don't go there expecting Michelin Star table Service! Just good quality grub on the street!

05/05/2026: Decided to nip into this pub on bank holiday Monday for a pint of Guinness. Whilst the pub itself was welcoming, we cannot say the same for the staff. We ordered our pints and were met with “it’s cash only, there’s a cash machine in the back”, went back to discover that there was a €3.50 charge for the privilege. We decided to leave to try find a free cash machine only to be chased down the street. Another member of staff shouting down a busy street telling us that “maybe next time tell the bar woman that we don’t want the pints that she’d just pulled” and that we “weren’t nice” for leaving. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but is it not common practice to not pull a pint until payment had been received?! I truly have never encountered such animosity over something so trivial, and frankly we were not at fault in the slightest. If you’d pay your taxes and have a card machine, you wouldn’t have to chase customers down the street, and have multiple negative reviews.
03/05/2026: Warm bottles of beer. Cash only. Pool table in pieces. Basic drinks only, no cocktails. Avoid.

21/06/2026: We waited 40 minutes for mediocre food. I’m pretty sure they brought in the groceries for our dinner about 20 mins after we ordered. Keeping in mind the restaurant was open for an hour at this stage. The the tables and the water jugs were all dirty. The toilets were dirty and had no designated lady’s facility’s. We were also brought the wrong food. To top it all off at the end where where dull charged a 10% service fee as we where a table of 4 ans then they only accepted cash.
06/06/2026: We ordered langoustines, but received mussels and shrimp. When we objected to the bill and were offered a €10 discount, the boss came over to tell us that “this is what we call it” and demanded his €10 discount back. We refused, though; we really do know what langoustines are. Otherwise, the taste was okay.
