Ruby Ellen's Tea Rooms in Carlingford

Great little breakfast place, with good food and friendly staff, will be having the full Irish next time. Another August another great breakfast and a lovely pot of tea. Only down side people having mobile ohone conversations on speaker, have some respect for other dinners.

This place is a must visit if you are in Carlingford. Fabulous food and staff. It really is like being in your nanny's sitting room. Cash only so just be aware. 100% be back again

An exceptional place for breakfast or lunch, it's a charming spot with wonderful staff and everything is delicious. We ordered a traditional Irish breakfast and a mocha coffee. Good value for money and quality products. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience at Ruby Ellen's Tea Room. The staff were wonderful - very friendly and helpful. I had a delicious breakfast- probably ordered too much but it was really good. I sat outside as the weather was so good. I loved all the colourful furniture. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Ruby Ellens.

I would highly recommend this establishment - the food was great value and the staff were so friendly. Recently stopped in with a friend while passing through and have the tastiest breakfast. The atmosphere was warm and the service was excellent.

Love this place! Come here everytime I am in Carlingford. Even when extremely busy, the staff is very friendly. Food and coffee/tea always a 10 out of 10. Dogs are allowed on the patio. 100% recommend.

Lovely wee coffee shop. Beautiful cakes and tray bakes served on pretty china with embroidered tablecloths. Lots of quirky wee bits and pieces in the decor and plenty of room outside in the good weather.

Exactly what you'd imagine an English tea house to be. The ambiance is beautiful and immediately invites you to linger. Of course, I had to try the scones – they were served with care and tasted delicious. The sandwich we tried was also very tasty and beautifully presented. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive.
