01/12/2024: Classically Irish. Lovely restaurant. I’ve eaten here a few times and would recommend. The building is beautiful. The interior design is fabulous. It’s nice in the morning for breakfast, evening lunch and even better at night with the lights for a cosy dinner.

29/11/2024: One of the best restaurants in Drogheda. Delicious food, but a little bit pricier than other venues. Great service and attentive staff. Upmarket. Often host Wine Tasting Evenings which are really very good. Important to book to guarantee a table.

08/09/2024: We had a lovely meal there tonight to celebrate mums birthday. The food and service were excellent. It is a beautiful house with great period features and in a lovely setting. Would highly recommend.

05/11/2024: Was a bit disappointing for the previous visits but it was surprisingly good on my last visit! The homemade bread, fresh oyster and the seafood chowder!!!

03/11/2024: Nice cozy little pub. Friendly staff and great customer service. We had the fish tacos and prawn pil pil. The food was so fresh and packed with flavour although it was expensive €18 euro for a small portion of prawns however it was very tasty. Good live music too!

30/11/2024: The Valley Inn is close to Drogheda and is a popular place for tourists and locals to visit. There is plenty of free parking on site with seating outside. I have visited the Valley Inn on many occasions and it never disappoints. The food is excellent with Breakfast, lunch and everything meals served. There is a dedicated restaurant which can be booked. The Inn itself has an "old world" charm with traditional wood used throughout. Traditional furnishings with low ceilings give the interior a comfortable and cosy feel. The staff are friendly and service with a smile is always welcome. The Valley Inn is a popular stop off for many types of visitors. Tourists on their way to the Cooley Peninsula, families visiting the local beaches and Cycling Groups and Car Clubs. It attracts a wide variety of people which says lot about this great place.

18/11/2024: We went in on Friday to get a pizza takeaway and went back on Saturday for lunch. Enough said I think.

18/10/2024: This place feels like a regular cafe when you first enter. But make no mistake, this restaurant is a hidden gem. When you taste their food it feels like you have left wintry Dundalk and are sitting in a small Italian village drinking the local wine and tasting dishes that have been lovingly passed down through the generations. An absolute treat and very well priced.

27/10/2024: I ordered the hot n spicy chicken burger overall it was spectacular though there was a little too much mayo. The service was amazing, food was great and I loved the atmosphere.

03/11/2024: Not worth the price for quality and quantity of food. For 2 people 1x burger, 1x chicken wings, 1x side of fries and 2 drinks paying 40 euro. Was told as we were walking in that there was no meat and had only chicken left, for a place that specifically offers burgers was very disappointed leaving half the menu useless. The burger I had received had more lettuce and burger bun than actually meat and could barely taste the chicken due to the lack of it. Very little food and found myself still hungry after finishing. The chicken wings my partner had received were lukewarm at best and quickly drop in temperature before finishing the meal. The drinks we had gotten from the machine one had absolutely no fizz and was flat and the other drink wasn’t even palatable and was left more than half full due to such reason. Would have rather paid 40 euro for diesel to drive somewhere else!!!. Great front of house and really helpful. Just a shame the food could not be on par with such.

03/11/2024: No beef on Saturday. No phone call to explain. Table for 5 booked. Not good enough. Like the pub with no beer.

13/11/2024: Gorgeous place and the cakes are the best!

10/11/2024: Staff were absolutely lovely, very accommodating and fit a group of 7 in as a walk in for breakfast which was appreciated. Unfortunately the food was way overpriced, Dublin city prices for small portions of food that were not great quality. The "potato cake" is a small ball of mashed potato that tastes like fryer grease. Sausages were tiny little slivers that tasted like the pan they were cooked in and the pudding comes as little breaded balls with cheese in the middle which was a bit odd. Vegetarian breakfast at €14 for two overcooked poached eggs, spinach, tomatoes, "potato cake", mushrooms, a small portion of beans and a single slice of barely toasted bread is a bit much I felt. The promptness of service and friendly staff are the cafes only saving grace but the quality and price of food really needs to be reconsidered

28/10/2024: Good old wholesome fashioned Sunday roast lunch. Large portioned desserts...very good. Service good. Atmosphere noisy and lively...bank holiday Sunday late lunch time.

01/12/2024: Dreadful food; ordered salmon and it arrived at my table within 5 minutes- rushed plate of food stone cold and with congealed sauce stuck to the plate. Salmon as dry as a bone and boring plate of dull undercooked vegetables. Miserable atmosphere- dark and dingy

03/11/2024: Really nice restaurant, decor etc. Food was nice however my fillet steak, which was a good size, was over cooked. I asked for med to well done but it was well done. There were plenty of waiters/waitresses about and service was quite quick however I was never asked if my food was ok as I was waiting for the opportunity to mention about the steak. The restaurant was busy and I would return again to give it another go. Back again, this time my sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and the service was very good. There were five of us at our table and everyone was impressed by the quality of the food and the service. Definitely worth a visit.

28/09/2024: The food is exquisite, fresh and beautifully presented. Lovely restaurant in quaint historic setting always bustling with diners. Had a pre drink at their bar beforehand. Would recommend.

22/09/2024: Beautiful building, fabulous staff and food like a warm blanket of comfort! Stopped on the way home from a few nights away and had a beautiful Sunday roast dinner which was really welcomed. Turkey and ham was delicious and the soup divine. Staff were friendly and funny, definitely will be leaving Dublin to visit again x

15/08/2024: Was recently here for a party. The place was buzzing. Cool decor and great DJs. Bar staff were good, floor staff great but highly commend the security staff. Very efficient, friendly, and extremely alert.
