The best restaurants in Louth

08/07/2025: Had been meaning to go for a longtime and when it suited not disappointed. Monday night is always sometimes difficult to find a restaurant but the Square opens and was very busy. Diffucult to pick from the menu as great choice ended up with small plates. Do definitely have the cabbage a vegetable often boring here it was fantastic with a light touch . It is easy with some ingredients to shine but to do so with cabbage is extraordinary. Can't wait to go back and try other items. If only we could have a restaurant such as this in Drogheda.

06/07/2025: Visited here with my sisters for a meal...omg...food cooked with love...first class service...friendly staff..warm atmosphere..v reasonably priced.x can't wait to return...possibly the best in Dundalk..

24/06/2025: One of the best dining experiences we’ve had! The marinated lemon and garlic chicken breast was absolutely perfect – juicy, tender, and full of flavor. I was a bit unsure at first since chicken breast can often be dry, but this was cooked to perfection! The starter was equally delicious, and we loved the chips and the pizza too. Every dish was spot on. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the service was fast and friendly. We truly enjoyed everything and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

17/06/2025: Stopped off on long journey to south from North. Friendly and efficient staff. Fresh, tasty food. Good outdoor area at the back as well as a couple of tables on street front. Can park across the road in supermarket carpark

19/06/2025: Stopped in on a whim on our way home, very tasty sushi! We went in when slightly busy so food wasn’t as quick but worth the wait. Only bad thing is wayyyy too much spicy sauce on the tuna maki.

05/06/2025: Atami is a wonderful restaurant. It's a bit pricey. Sometimes, service is slow, but overall, it's not a place I'll be avoiding anytime soon.

05/06/2025: Myself and my wife have been here many times, we don't go very often, because we always feel if we did it would spoil the outstanding dining experience we get. As well as a really nice date night and special the anniversary & birthdays etc.. However this evening we went with our children and we have yet to have a bad dish. Service always excellent, the food is excellent really is excellent. I have no issue paying for good quality dishes and it's certainly demonstrated here. The owners, chefs & staff should be extremely proud of what they do. Very very few restaurants in the surrounding areas who can be that consistent.

26/05/2025: This has to be the best evening restaurant in Drogheda. Top class menu, delicious food, everything we ordered was bursting with flavour and fresh. There’s a warm, cozy atmosphere and the staff are very friendly, professional and attentive. Highly recommended!!

29/06/2025: Had a party of 7 family gathering at this very pleasantly appointed Bar/Restaurant. Not cheap, but what’s cheap anyway in 2025? It’s an Irish restaurant in Ireland serving pretty standard fare, curries, burgers, fish platter, salads etc I hurt my soul to order the Fish and Chips - sold to me as “Cod Tempura” which perhaps justified the two kiddie sized pieces of battered cod. Fish and chips should be satisfying. It’s Dundalk not Osaka Dessert for me was the Pavlova which was presented on an under baked meringue shell. It was mainly just beaten egg whites with sugar with no delicious crunch I would come back because I think maybe the main chef was not working Surroundings are lovely and service is super friendly (although your waiters should be aware that rice is gluten free)

22/06/2025: Lovely very busy food good staff very helpful. Service was a little slow but we had a big table.id go back again some really nice dishes on the menu and the glass of wine was decent size. Worth a spin
