04/02/2024: ordered at 6:33, it had been an hour and a half, so i called to ask where my food was. i understand nights can be busy, especially waiting for drivers, but i had never waited that long for takeout from here, especially because i live directly across the street. wife is type1 diabetic, had to treat her for hypoglycemia because we've never had food take over an hour to arrive. when i rang at the 1:30 mark, i was told the machine was broken, so they had only received my order. asked if i wanted to just cancel it, i said i would wait. no apology or anything. food came 20-30 mins later, missing one of my items. i rang back and was just going to ask for a refund on it, but they said it was ready and the driver had just forgotten, so not wanting to waste food i said alright to it being delivered. another full hour. it took another full hour to bring 1 item of already cooked food across the street. still no apology on the item being missing or anything. food quality was not worth all that. we won't be ordering from here for a long time.
02/12/2023: I have been a regular customer with Nikkos.l have dined in twice.l regularly order for delivery.The staff are amazing,the food is excellent,especially Avocado salad,Cream cheese and Salmon Sushi Rolls.From a delivery standpoint l have found them to be taking less time than b4.lt is well worth the wait be it sit down( this is why l plan by going a little earlier when a booking is made).As l said l mostly get delivery due to my health.I always make a point to say Thanx to staff and Masterchef,as particularly with items like Sushi,are a little time consuming to make.l am sorry to hear that some peoplehave had bad experiences.Yes it can be disappointing.Although l never had problem with service on any level,perhaps( and l am sure people are anxious to eat and do so quickly to ENJOY.)Sometimes a little positive feedback in any area of a bad experience can result in waitresses feeling less stress and a bad experience can quickly turn around in customers favour.Every time l order a dish now,there is always a little extra Avocado,salmon nicely presented with much thought or an act of kindness like free fruit tea as an attempt to make experience better.Personally for me,by exercising patience it's all turned out great.l do not wish to diminish any unsavoury experiences a customer has had.l respect their opinions,but knowing this is a service for Customers,paying customers it is important we make efforts to understand how hard staff do really work and also many times l suspect,understaffed. Thankfully l have been very lucky.Please try again to visit Nikkos or order from home.lf not happy tell them.lf it is a first visit to Nikkos,one visit can't predict future experiences.I say this with full respect.I would like to say,everyone in Nikkos has been wonderful and serves great food.Have a wonderful day.MM.
