The best restaurants in Louth

03/09/2023: Brilliant.. great food! So much flavour. Used to great curries in Yorkshire but this place is amazing.. different, not overly spiced but best combinations of flavours. Not forgetting really friendly staff & lovely little restaurant. Just had our left overs for dinner tonight. We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you!!

02/09/2023: This small Indian restaurant is a cozy gem! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is warm, and the service is amazing . Highly recommend!

03/04/2024: I recently attended this venue for a friend's birthday party. I was immediately impressed by the stylish interior design and lighting. The venue feels warm and welcoming. There is plenty of space so it doesn't feel crowded. The party I attended included a karaoke for 2 hours in the venue's dedicated karaoke area. The staff were very friendly and made a great effort to get the party spirit going. Finger food was also included as part of the karaoke session. The food was very tasty and there was lots to go around. Overall this place is an asset to the town of Drogheda. I was very impressed with the venue and will definitely be returning there again.

17/12/2023: Small cosy pub, good pints, football on the TV and no loud music. Sure what more would you want? Good pints of Guinness and the bar staff are on the ball. I haven't eaten here but plan to in the near future as the food looks like good pub grub. Can be difficult to get a seat in the bar area at the weekends. Been back here quite a few times but today was the first time we ate here. Small enough menu but I really enjoyed the fish and chips. Service was quite quick, portions quite big and the food was tasty.

27/12/2023: So was standing at the bar and a little entrance into behind the counter. Was told by a fella in green t shirt who works here and was trying to get past me to move my “fat a** “ so he could get by by to do his work. I appreciate it was busy etc but to told that was highly humalting to me and especially when im conscientious of my weight and out with friends was outright disgusting. Im a male for sure and i just know of it was a female that comment wouldnt of been said not appreciated. Wont he back. Disgusting.

31/03/2024: Have to say wouldnt be back. Food wasn't great ended up bringing it home for the dog and then they tried to charge Me for an extra dinner which I said 3 times I didn't have. And €3.20 for a can of 7up is just madness ??

27/03/2024: Had my husbands 50th birthday party there last Saturday. It was a great night with great food, drinks and music. They go above and beyond to make sure your every need is catered for. Thanks to Mary, Josephine, Damien, Emma and all the staff. Great night had by all.

05/04/2024: Lovely decor inside. Staff were attentive and on the ball. The burger I had was 10/10 , tasty, looked good, tasted fabulous.

04/04/2024: Food was not great, all meals with the exception of the curry were quite bland. Burger was very dry. My 5 year old ordered from the kids menu a small bowl of plain pasta which was €10, a shocking price considering it didn’t include a dessert, prices really need to be more reflective of what the portion is.

04/04/2024: I had a fantastic breakfast here and unfortunately was so distracted by the great food that I forgot my kindle! Thankfully Paul on reception posted it back to me which was so kind, I will be back!

17/02/2024: Is great pub looks small from the front but extends all around the corner with big beer garden/ smoking area great spot for relaxing and having beer

02/04/2024: We popped in to The Lisdoo on impulse as a treat and had a dreadful experience, in fact it ruined our entire evening. I made a simple request, steak & chips plain, no sauce, no side salad, no dressing, no garnish, just the meat on the plate and I'll return the plate, I couldn't have made it any clearer and they couldn't get that right. They brought out a steak that had mushrooms, onion rings, tomatoes and God knows what else on it. This may well be fine for most people who visit but when you don't eat that stuff because you don't like that stuff then that's nothing short of infuriating and frustrating. I returned the course and refused anything further. My wife & child had their meal and we left. We would not recommend The Lisdoo nor would we return.

24/03/2024: Lovely friendly staff, food was delicious. We had chicken croquettes with spicy mayo for starters for mains. we had a buttermilk chicken burger and teriyaki chicken sandwich, and for desert, we both had Black Forest gateau. Everything was delicious. We look forward to coming back.

26/02/2024: This was my first visit here and hopefully won't be my last. This place has a cosy ambiance with a live fireplace. Staff are friendly and efficient. Though I am not totally herbivorous, there are some vegetarian options on the menu should you feel like chomping green. Food was delicious and service was prompt. Parking is on street but there was ample room when I visited. This might change in peak season. Sea view is fabulous and is a sight to behold whilst watching the sun setting on the horizon. This is definitely on the return agenda.

10/02/2024: Had a lovely dinner with my mum; we were accommodated last minute, which was greatly appreciated as they were busy. Very nice service; the staff were attentive and really kind and nice. Portions generous; food hot and fresh; lovely atmosphere.
