23/09/2024: Amazing place, staff extremely friendly and welcoming - our plane was very delayed and they made sure we had food waiting for us despite kitchen being closed. Delicious breakfast and the Sunday dinner was also superb - would 100% recommend to anyone

03/11/2024: worked there for 4 months and it was the worst experience. I got abused by the managers and I worked almost everyday even with college. The chefs have no standards at all, they use the same teppan to cook vegetarian food even though meat was cooked in it. I do not recommend this restaurant.

03/11/2024: Worked as a dish washer in this restaurant around 2017 Shop owners are here on student visa operating business illegally Pays us below minimum wage, took all the tips for themselves and none for waiters Also please don't eat their sushi garnish (the carrots and green leaves), we were told to wash and reuse them from eaten plates Seriously there's better places to eat than this restaurant

08/09/2024: Here for our second night of our wedding, the bride was the refused entry after putter her sick father to bed, and refused to let her get her husband or contact them for her as her phone was inside even though the whole bar was the wedding party. Absolutely disgusting and ruined a wedding weekend. Would not recommend at all.

26/08/2024: called into this bar with 2 friends from America and 3 relatives from England Myself and my wife. this was at 4.45 pm.26/8/2024 went into the bar there was 7 of us wanting drinks. young lad in his twenties after telling us to wait a minute then totally ignored us leaving from behind the bar and going elsewhere. no other bartenders there. disgusted we left. The bar man ignored us competent. Very poor customer service.

08/11/2024: Dont waste your time, horrible place, it's my first time in Dundalk and I went there 2 weeks ago as it was recommended by one of the locals I met on the train. It was very busy and I had to wait on a table, the girl that served me was lovely but overwhelmed, after seeing how the older lady was acting I could see why, she was terrible and rushing. The old man was very ignorant and arrogant, without saying he smelled terrible. I ordered a Lasagne and it was the most disgusting thing I ever had, the chips weren't too bad but wasn't worth the visit. By far the worst experience I had in Dundalk, I feel sorry for their staff

05/11/2024: While the food is delicious, having the waitress ask how much you want to tip is very off-putting. To have them ask you when your partner, who had to leave early for an engagement but had already left a tip w the same waitress but you were unaware, is disgusting. Your food is delicious but you need to re-train your waist staff & put manners on them.

03/11/2024: I don't make reviews often but if I feel I have to, I've no problem allocating time to do so on particular occasions. Frequent customer, booked table for 2 for 7pm Saturday (02/11/2024) on the Thursday previous. Arrived at 7pm. Brought to our seats to be told, table not available but to, please wait at the waiting area. We didn't wait too long but I found this quite awkward as the restaurant wasn't at full capacity. No problem, the food was ordered and I must say there were no complaints regarding the food. Very attentive staff, maybe a little too attentive on this occasion, three staff checking in after mains arrived. I'm not sure about the credibility of this place anymore, yes I'm in favour of their food but it seems to me they are far more interested in their tip (gratuity) to be perfectly honest. I don't think 15% cuts it where the waitress just walked off into the abyss without an acknowledgement. No offer of a complimentary lemoncillo anymore, this loss of service must factor in the cost of calculating the tips on a traditional calculator as opposed to calculating or using an alternative device for tips. They seem to have a new device to choose the level of gratuity percentage on their new smart device. This is not the first time I've experienced this, there's a strong element of expectation here, relax on the gratuity element and you might get more.... Management needs to have a rain check or you'll lose loyal custom!! Thank you. PS. Hand dryer in male toilet out of service along with no paper towels to dry hands. Not acceptable.

04/09/2024: One of the cleanest and "fresh" looking pubs I have visited (and I've been to a few 😆). Only stopped in for a coffee and cookie, both were excellent. Had a very nice talk with one of the owners and you can easily hear the passion. Don't let the outside fool you, go in and enjoy the large garden terrace or lounge area.

20/07/2024: My favourite restaurant this year. Good food done extremely extremely well. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely stunning. Highlight had to be the Trofie pasta, but special mentions to the focaccia with curry butter and the steak main. All of the food was prepared so well and the whole meal was just exceptional. I cannot wait to go back.

03/09/2023: Brilliant.. great food! So much flavour. Used to great curries in Yorkshire but this place is amazing.. different, not overly spiced but best combinations of flavours. Not forgetting really friendly staff & lovely little restaurant. Just had our left overs for dinner tonight. We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you!!

30/06/2024: After a very successful lunch on a whim, we booked and came back for an evening meal to celebrate our anniversary. I am so happy we did, and will make the same booking next year. The food is outstanding. It seems there is generally a meat dish, a fish dish, and a vegetarian dish to choose from with sides that are in season. Staff are super friendly and full of advice. The wine is reasonably priced and served at the correct temperature. It's a great spot for couples, but they also cater to larger groups. I would not say the experience is expensive, but it's not cheap either. However, you definitely get what you pay for! Because the menu changes every fortnight, this is a place you can visit again and again and be consistently both surprised and satisfied. My new favourite restaurant.

09/10/2024: In my humble opinion it's the best place in Drogheda for food! The staff are friendly and helpful.. the food is unreal and the price very reasonable. Gorgeous coffee too!! Highly recommend for breakfast and lunch!!! Haven't had an evening meal there yet but I've no doubt it's A1!!!

26/08/2024: The greatest place to get kebabs in Ireland! While I have had a lot of kebabs in the past, none have been as good as the one I had today at Zam Zam Kebab. The food is excellent, the size is remarkable, and the price is excellent. Please, come to Dublin. We need good food here.
