Decided to pop in for dinner based on Google reviews. Absolutely fabulous food. Highly recommend for the food and the service!

We just ate here; the entrance is a bit hidden in the street next to a women's clothing store. You have to go up a flight of stairs and then you arrive above the shop in a beautiful, spacious establishment. Fortunately, the menu is Italian and not yet influenced by Irish cuisine. We have been traveling around Ireland for almost three full weeks now and have searched everywhere for a good Italian restaurant, but only now have we truly succeeded. There was a pizzana politana on the menu, just as it should be. Olives, capers, and anchovies; it was well made. My wife had a seafood risotto, also well made. A homemade dessert and a limoncello to finish. We were satisfied and can certainly recommend the place.

It was a bit expensive, but the pizza was really good. Worth a try.

Very nice Italian style restaurant with great food and competitive pricing. We were a table of 5, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

This is my third visit to Antica Toscana. Will come here any time I'm in this area. Great food, good value for the quality you receive, lovely waiting staff - efficient and friendly.

I recently dined at Antica Toscana and had a very pleasant experience overall. The food was genuinely good, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself has plenty of seating, so it didn’t feel cramped, even during busy hours. One thing to note is that although it’s located right in the heart of the city, parking can be a bit inconvenient. There’s no dedicated parking available, and nearby options are paid, so it’s something to plan for in advance. As someone who isn’t usually a big fan of Italian cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised. This experience has definitely encouraged me to explore Italian food more in the future. In terms of pricing, it’s on the higher side, but considering the quality of the food and service, it still feels reasonable and worth it for an occasional dining experience. Overall, a solid choice for a nice meal, especially if you’re looking to enjoy good Italian food in a lively central location.
