Black Bull Inn in Drogheda

Absolutely great to see the BB back to its full potential, I didn’t come back for a few years as it really went down hill but on arrival today it was absolutely fantastic, thrilled to see! Amazing service and quick , steak was a little small but over all , a smashing meal. Will be back again

Big improvements evident in the offerings available now at the Black Bull Inn. With the Egans back in charge there is a creative and successful touch to new developments. Pizzas are a big hit. There is also a great selection of options on the food menu. A popular function room for private parties is available..as well as a sauna. The Bull attracts people of all ages, but there is an energetic young vibe about the place now that makes the place an attractive option for young people who want to party.

Really enjoyed it here; the food was great and everything came out really quickly. Emma looked after us and was really friendly and welcoming. Great service all round and a really nice atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

Met a friend for coffee in the late afternoon. The staff at the door offered no welcome at all, or advice on logging my car on their automatic parking system. The serving staff were friendlier and the decor in the area we were seated in was nice.

Fabulous place and the food was amazing. We didn’t have a booking as we’re just passing through so delighted to get a table. Brilliant atmosphere and staff were so helpful.

Absolutely divine ,never spoke to my partner while I was devouring my fetherblade of beef.

The Black Bull was recommended by a local and it exceeded expectations. Food and service were excellent and the staff were prompt and friendly, especially our waitress Siobhan. Very neat and well kept also.

Lovely food. Really enjoyed the experience.

The bar has a great selection of drinks, beers and cocktails. The food menu is good and the food itself was well presented and tasty. It's a nice spot for a pint and but of food and there is plenty of TV,s to watch a match

Went with 3 others and we all found the food to be excellent. Definitely a step above standard pub faire. Extra points for having an excellent Irish craft IPA available. Sat in the lovely, enclosed patio. Will certainly be back again.
