Black Bull Inn in Drogheda

Portion size was tiny, we thought it was a children's fish and chip dinner we got, as other plates were sooooo much bigger, and the profiteroles were semi frozen

Honestly wouldn't be in a rush to go back, roast lamb served with a steak knife was a red flag, tough and dry, asked for more gravy by the time I got it my food was cold. For the price we paid expected better.

Great food and bar service much improved

Toilets are long overdue an upgrade

I've been here a few times over the years, bar food, celebrations etc and cant say I've ever reviewed it. Stopped off for some bar food and a drink one evening. Ive never been disappointed with the food here and atmosphere and can again say this hasn't changed. The staff are extremely helpful and chatty and the bar was quite full for the time of the week we were there. Chicken wings are amazing as always, but have to mention the Onion Rings. One word to describe them....unreal! The batter on them was delicious....worth a try if you like a side of onion rings every once in a while. Always worth a stop if ever passing the Black Bull Inn.
