04/07/2025: Great food not over priced pizza was wicked definitely go bigger next time. Cheesy chips nice could be bigger

25/06/2025: Very clean ,pricy for a diner but nice quality food. Coffee was a little hot the beans weren't what would choose but overall nice for a bite to eat. Friendly Staff and prompt service. Added bonus was the beach ⛱️ just around the corner lovely beach with views around Louth, blue flag area with a children's sand play station and coffee shop.

16/07/2025: Awesome Pub , was celebrating everything there from birthdays to random gathering with friends. All Pub staff and even security was like family to me . Best regards From twin brothers :)

27/05/2025: The food quality here is firstclass Irish fayre. It was a relaxing stop to eatcaftr a busy time. The staff were smartly dressed and very pleasant and friendly. I have already been recommending this place to others.

27/06/2025: In response to the owners false claims due to his very poor service I would like to clarify some facts. 1) The party of 5 did not arrive 40 minutes late, they arrived 20 minutes late, after the bus upon which they were travelling was late. Upon entry to the dining area we were greeted by a shocking staff member who hurled abuse from the get go. We tried to reason with him as there were available tables in front of us that could have been used. He insisted the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. We asked; had we have been in time how would it have been possible to serve a 3 course meal in half an hour. Of course this could not be answered. 2) Upon realising that we would be late, we accessed our booking on res diary as soon as it became apparent, to make an amendment to the booking. There was no means of changing the time and there were no other bookings available. Your failure to answer 6 phone calls each 3 minutes apart was not a failure on our behalf of trying to ensure the correct correspondence was made. 3) At no stage did any of the party members became abusive, there is a difference between abusive and being frustrated, exacerbated by the lack of engagement with your head waiter who would not allow for a reasonable conversation to be had. When your waiter finally lost his professionalism he then asked us to leave. We asked for an explanation as to how a late show for a restaurant appointment would lead to us being asked to leave. Again he could not answer this and then made advances to start a physical row with us, at which stage we told him not to touch us. At this stage his aggression levels had raised again and he started roaring at us. Despite being roared at, we maintained a cooperative and composed demeanor. My friends had travelled a long way from Canada and were in disbelief as to how a late showing at a restaurant could lead to us being asked to leave, in the manner in which they were. The tourists from Canada are from very professional backgrounds and if you would like 4 more independent reviews on the way they were treated on the night in question they are happy to provide such reviews. I doubt they will be providing a review as forgiving as this one.

20/06/2025: Have been to The Glyder Inn on many an occasion,always lovely food and service,especially when Mary is there. However tonight,19th June, probably one of the worst experiences I ever had in any restaurant. Had table booked for 7pm, ordered food and wine,drinks and starter arrived shortly after,one hour later still no sign of main course,even after asking waitress and floor manager where was our food. Main course was eventually served,over cooked and dry as cardboard. This was not chefs fault,but very poor service and management. I payed for my starter and wine and listened to a lot of,sorrys,from manager. To the owners of the Glyder Inn,you,s have a lovely venue and great chefs, but please do something about your service before it’s too late. Seamus Kirke.
