01/12/2025: Amazing quality food, best in Drogheda in my opinion. The chips are so fluffy and not super greasy. I recently had to change go-to chippers due to drop in quality and it is a delight to find Macari's, the beef doesnt take like fish, its friendly on the tummy, and quality is kept in mind. Lighting speed delivery as well! Cant go wrong with a good awl Macari's ;)

08/12/2025: Had the worst scampi this evening, it was luke warm and despite being told it was not frozen, I’m not convinced. The pieces were uniform in size and when I cut them open the prawns were in small mushy bits . I complained and was told that they would bring me a fresh portion , however my original order was returned to me just heated up, I told a second server that it was not good but no interest was shown and despite leaving all the scampi , the server just cleared the plates with no comment or interest . Food is so expensive these days , so it’s really disappointing to pay €28 for something that tasted like a cheap frozen product. . .For balance one of my companions had a steak meal which was good and our other friend had fish which she said was okay but only lukewarm .

29/06/2025: This place was recommended to us and it did not disappoint, the toastys are like nothing we had eaten before! My kids can be hard to please, but they really loved the food! It's Run by nice people and it's a cool place! Remember everyone, it's street food! Don't go there expecting Michelin Star table Service! Just good quality grub on the street!

21/09/2025: Brill wee spot. Lovely people running it, very welcoming and great craic to be had. I had a particular request for a moscow mule with gin instead of vodka, and the bar lady came up with calling it the "Cooley mule" 🤣😂😂 Highly recommended 👌

28/10/2025: Has it all, carvery, lunch, pizza, curry the works Lovely smell walking in the door. Super friendly workers, even suggesting things to get with my wrap High prices (just over 30 for lunch of wrap and roll with crisps and one drink) but in line with everyone else now unfortunately Definitely worth a visit as I said there's plenty of options for everyone Will keep it in mind if in the area again

18/08/2025: A good restaurant in the city center of Dundalk. Amazing food and good service. Take away and sitting in are available. Wide range of steaks and options are available. The quantity and taste is next level.. Really a good place for a lunch.

03/08/2025: The Roma has been around a long time. I love their chicken curry and chips. The curry has a perfect blend of spice but not too overly spicy. I also love their 99 in a cup. The service is fast and the food is amazing. It’s quiet and relaxing inside. We will always remember Momma Roma.
