05/02/2025: Buzzy friendly atmosphere, Chowder fab, full of fresh fish and mussels. The small bowl is a very generous helping!
Traditional Sunday Roasts looked great with big portions too.
Staff friendly and attentive,
01/02/2025: I used to live across the road from here and always make a point of getting dinner or lunch when I'm back up that end of the country. It's more focused on being a full restaurant these days and the bar closes early but food and pints are always spot on

23/02/2025: Whilst doing some shopping in penny's we decided to try this place out. We are a family of 4. One of the best carvery around, I opted for pavaolva for desert and by God it went down a treat. The staff are so polite and welcoming also. Will defo be back
21/02/2025: Had breakfast here and food was nice and staff was lovley. Good portion size and priced very well. Easy to miss as it is in the back of the marshes where no one really goes. Go past the food court and past the barbers and you come across this gem. Seen they even have beer taps and wine menu if your having lunch and a cheeky jar. Would come back again.

The staff are second to none... always obliging... endlessly patient..and constantly on the move....where do they get their energy?
My favourite "wake-up" is double expresso,but also the croissants (cheese/ham toasted or the vegan rolls make an excellent breakfast or snack any time of day.Endless varieties including banana bread are there for the trying. It is a cornucopia in every sense.
Well done guys... keep up the great work!

28/11/2024: When we asked the locals where we should get a cup of coffee, we were directed here to Wildwood! It seems to have moved out of their original space and is now completely outdoors. There is a great vibe here and the chef clearly really cares about the food. We got the cheese toasty (a must try) and breakfast burrito. The coffee was great! Only wish the plates and cutlery weren’t single-use but we understand there are probably constraints. Thank you!
14/10/2024: Stayed for the weekend and this place is absolutely beautiful, Paul is a gentleman and would recommend here to everyone, will definitely be back

05/03/2025: Toasted sandwich was average, chips ,only a small portion. We waited over 30mins for our food Apology given. Tea not good.disapointed with the menu choices. Bar person friendly and helpful,but waitress wasn't welcoming,felt like it was a hassle to get 2 cups for our tea unfortunately.

09/03/2025: We waited over an hour for food. It wasn't particularly busy. People seated after us got served before us. When the food finally came it was so bland and greasy. Definitely not worth the wait. We were about to walk out at one point when the waitress came to ask what sauce we wanted on the wings we'd ordered an hour ago. She assured us the food was ready to plate and would be out right away. It arrived 10 minutes later. Will not be back and would not recommend.
