The food was lovely and plentiful. We couldn't fault the service, the staff were very attentive. We didn't have a booking and were still accommodated even though it seemed to be a very busy tavern. Thank you!

I wanted to write a review as first time booked into the brake and I was not disappointed, the staff were incredible, welcoming, chatty, warm, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive any time passing our table, great to see. The food was excellent, highly recommended.

Went here with my boyfriend for dinner recently and it was absolutely fantastic. A really warm and fun welcome at the door from the host. Super helpful waiters and the owner (I think) came to pour our wine and chatted to us about that particular Albariño and where he tasted it first. Just all nice little touches, that make local places like this stand the test of time. I had the chicken kyiv - faultless! So tasty and nostalgic. My bf had the hot seafood platter and it looked incredible, he loved it. The hand rolled croquettes are gorgeous and the freshly grated slaw - divine. The menu is keenly priced, as well. Just adore this kind of confident, comfortable service where you know you're in good hands. We'll be back again and again!

Awesome experience at this restaurant always! Such a cosy vibe, super welcoming and courteous staff. Authentic food and great service. Must try- Steak!
