28/07/2026: Best pub food in Dundalk, met here for the plaque unveiling at Dundalk Gaol, it was also All Ireland day so very busy but great staff who made my visit a memorable one.

26/06/2026: Loved this pub! Solo travelling I don't normally to into a pub as I'm shy! but I felt so very welcomed its my definite go to pub when heading to dundalk!! 14/06/2026: We walked in the restaurant based on great reviews here on Google Maps. We were travelling from Canada. Service wasnt good. Lacking eye contact. It felt awkward so we didnt order another round. We just got up and left. We stayed at many places and had a great trip but this restaurant made us feel awkward or outcasts. I dont know what it was but it was weird. The meal was excellent though.

10/06/2026: I was delighted to be part of a group from Dundalk Food & Drink that visited The Windsor at the end of May, when we were treated to a showcase of the best food that the restaurant has to offer. I enjoyed my choice of a starter of chicken & mushroom risotto, followed by a tasty (and generous) hake tempura with saffron sauce. Marieta Rías Baixas Albariño 2024 and Segredos de São Miguel Alentejano 2023 were the wines on offer. A warm welcome and excellent service added greatly to our visit. 👏👏👏 to all the staff!

27/06/2026: I tried to take my wife here for our anniversary. We were told at the door to wait for a table. Waited 20 minutes to then be told there was no tables available, even thought there was empty seats/ tables. Very disappointing, staff were a little snappy, they kept looking over at us waiting but no communication toward us.

04/06/2026: Good food, the vibe is cool in here quite cosy, we decided on small bites type food. All the food we had got was good especially the sourdough, the wine was also a vibe. We went on a Thursday and the restaurant was still busy atmosphere was still lively. I would reccomend if visiting Dundalk and enjoy tapas style food.

09/06/2026: What a fantastic wedding band. I can't recommend Clive and the lads enough.they kept the dance floor full at all time. I got so many compliments from our guests about the band. So if you are getting married and looking for wedding band get these lads booked. Best wedding band ever.

06/06/2026: We had Vertigo band & Dj play at our wedding in Cavan Crystal last year and they were absolutely amazing. Clive and the band were so lovely and easy to deal with and you can tell they really love what they do. The music was so lively and they kept the dancefloor full all night. So many of our guests commented on how amazing they were and what a great time they had. We highly recommend Vertigo band & Dj to anyone considering them for their wedding day! Thank you so much. 19/07/2026: Top class bar/restaurant! Sunday lunch is carvery style. A huge selection of top class food at reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend it.

02/08/2026: I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding the behaviour of one of your servers during our recent visit. Throughout our time at the restaurant, the server was noticeably rude and dismissive towards us, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. More concerningly, the server repeatedly stared at my wife’s chest in an inappropriate and uncomfortable manner. This behaviour was completely unacceptable and made both of us feel extremely uncomfortable during what should have been an enjoyable experience. We understand that mistakes can happen and that staff may have difficult days, but this went beyond poor customer service. We believe that customers should be treated with respect and professionalism at all times, regardless of the circumstances. I would appreciate it if this matter could be investigated and addressed appropriately with the staff member involved. I would also appreciate a response regarding what action will be taken to ensure that other customers do not experience similar behaviour. I look forward to hearing from you and hope that you take this complaint seriously. I got the servers name i believe it was jack mcentaggart

02/08/2026: Newly refurbished. Great food, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The meals were well presented and tasty, and the overall experience was excellent. A little expensive for tapas but they are tasty.

26/05/2026: Every now and then I treat myself to a full Irish breakfast. This morning I'm in the greenmount restaurant. This was by far the tastiest breakfast I've tasted so far! The restaurant is spotlessly clean, staff are friendly and attentive and the food is amazing. Full Irish including toast and a pot of tea €14. I can highly recommend it!
