27/03/2026: It was a quiet mid-week evening when we turned up so there wasn't much in the way of atmosphere but the greeting was friendly the service good and the food was lovely. We were just passing through but would certainly visit again if we were in the area.

02/03/2026: Lovely place. Pure Italian restaurant with delicious food and lovely owners! If you looking for taste of Italy this is perfect place for it! Highly recommended even for children!

10/02/2026: This place is pretty sugoi. I left feeling quite daijoubu. The atmosphere is very kawaii and nihongo. One thing I would like is more gluten free options onegaishimasu. They only had sashimi without soy sauce which I survived without salmonella but reminded me of the gelatinous glob they eat in saya no uta, dattebayo.

07/04/2026: The waitresses like plural checked if we were done once every 5 min. The place was almost empty. Now to be honest we were confused if this was great customer service or if they wanted us to leave. The bar is great and the manager was nice. I think the staff just was checking on us and were not talking amongst themselves on who is attending our table which resulted in 4 staff members asking if we were done back to bank for 30 min straight which felt very weird. But the food was good and the atmosphere too. We had leg of lamb and stuffed mushroom.

23/03/2026: Have never been disappointed. Chanced our arn with no booking recently and they fittes us in at the window seat - perfect. Had a lovely mix of starters and the venison for main and it was fabulous. Have eaten here several times, the food and staff are on a different level to anything else in Dundalk. A must visit.

31/03/2026: What a gem! Came here for Mother’s Day with my family. The place was very modern and beautifully decorated. We had wings to share and they were delicious. I had a burger and likewise it was very delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit, and I will return too!

08/12/2025: How does one even begin to summarise Vertigo and how utterly amazing they are! Clive was so easy to deal with, hassle free, contacted me wedding week to finalise all. Arrived in plenty of time, linked in before they started and then the magic happened and didn't stop! Davey was the lead singer (i think he had to stand in last minute) he was absolutely electric, his energy & stamina, he was on that dancefloor keeping everyone on it! Their set was just brilliant something for all and as for the tuuuunes at the end just wow! i found Vertigo on Instagram, had never heard of them or saw them before but something told me to book them and my God am I glad I did. if you are lucky enough that's they're available, do not hesitate - just book them. EVERYONE mentioned how class they were. Lads thank you all so so much, ye made our day!

26/03/2026: Walked in for a lunch/early dinner and a pint. Warm and cosy atmosphere, food and drinks are at a reasonable price. Staff is very friendly and accommodating to your needs and preferences (specially noticed for the regular customers) definitely a recommended place for a meet up or just a quick bite and drink.

19/03/2026: Extremely dissatisfied. I got the chicken club sandwich, chips on the side and pepper sauce. The sauce was too salty, the chips were nice, but the chicken club sandwich was bad. The focaccia bread was tough, to the point, i couldn’t cut it with the butter knife they supplied. I ended up eating it like a hamburger with my hands. I could have lived with that, but the sandwich was small, and i mean literally, a bun, with some chicken, bacon, a dribble of sauce and cheese. It was nothing like the club sandwich i used to go in and get years ago. A HUGE Disappointment. No flavour and tough. My wife got the caeser salad… bland she said. Her dad got the super salad, he liked it, but it had (4 ) pieces of chicken on it. And his partner got the lasagne…she came here specifically to get what she got 2 years ago, she came over from Scotland to visit. Again, disappointed, it was nothing like she had 2 years ago she commented. She left s leave portion behind. I don’t know what happened to McGeoughs since I last visited a number of years ago, but that Club Sandwich I used to get was amazing …it has been changed and reduced to a tough bap with bland inners. Ill stick with the Rumhouse McGeoughs, my rating..Super boring food, some items, not fresh like the bread, and miserable portions of meat. FAIL.

03/03/2026: Hello I went to the lisdoo a thousand times even when I was a teenager food is so nice my whole family loves it and my friend really likes it too. Great place for a party or something ice-cream there is lovely more people should come . Why does people give one star I would give five .

15/02/2026: So me and my new wife choose the lisdoo as the place to hold the reception on are wedding day. From the first point of contact to the day of the wedding the staff and management went above and beyond to support are needs guide us with are special requests and anything we needed in between. From the food to the venue everything was prefect. All are guests raved about the excellent 5 star quality of the food to the whole experience and service on the day was unbelievable. Any ideas or things we needed to know about we were informed and kept up to date on everything from times food choices to everything in between the whole day and wedding went off prefect with not one person saying anything other than what a day and evening it was and it was all down to the lisdoo. A very special mention to Matthew and Helen who couldn't have assisted us any better and had the full day and evening extremely well prepared. I would tell anyone who is getting married to consider the lisdoo as there venue of choice you would not be disappointed.

02/04/2026: Have been before and it was fine. Had issues but also had praise. However at last, recent wedding, I got a hair in my food so I wasn't the happiest. I didn't complain as I understood it was big wedding n busy but so, not the best experience this time... But i mean others could have eaten n wouldn't even have known!

02/04/2026: I stayed at Fairways Hotel Dundalk for three nights. Overall, the experience was quite positive — the rooms were comfortable, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, I was quite disappointed with the restaurant service. One of the staff members, provided consistently poor service — he appeared unfriendly, inattentive, and at times even rude. This significantly affected the dining experience. I hope the hotel can address this, as otherwise it’s a great place to stay.
