09/08/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely fantastic takeaway! I didn’t have huge expectations when I popped into Roma, but it completely blew me away. The pizza was gorgeous, perfectly crispy base, delicious toppings, and just really, really yummy. The chips were proper chippy chips, made from real spuds, fresh, clean, and full of flavour. The curry was amazing too, not your usual dark chip shop curry, but a lovely light, thick, homemade-style curry that was absolutely delicious. It’s a family-run business with such a friendly atmosphere. I’m not from the area, but I’d definitely come back. Highly recommend!

29/07/2025: Lefty's is gone and so is the quality this chipper was famous for.Sad to see as it was the best chipper in town always good and now gone way down the long line of customers not there anymore.Staff are excellent but they can only serve the food the owner cooks which is definitely not the high standard it was.Pity to see this happening.Customers will go elsewhere for quality and value.

26/06/2025: I often go here for food, and in person the food was delicious. However I ordered delivery tonight. The prices were higher, the portions were smaller and the same dish I always get was not saucy but more watery and not cheesy as it usually is. It's also usually served with chips but they're extra on delivery 🙄. Husband got carbonara and it wasn't great either. Could have made it at home for a quarter of the price. So disappointed. Called the chef who just disregarded my complaint. I won't be going back in person either. I guess loyal customers don't matter.

21/06/2025: Twice in a month we have been in the restaurant for a family gathering-the food is amazing, the staff are lovely people and it’s extremely good value-I honestly don’t know why it’s not more busy-we will certainly be back soon-Lynn Rice

19/04/2025: The chicken was greasy beyond belief like it took a swim in oil before hitting my plate. Everything on the menu is wildly overpriced for what you get. Save your money and your arteries there are better food for better prices out there

18/09/2025: Parking is an absolute joke. People don’t drive to college just to walk or take a bus to campus. They take away 4 parking spaces for EV charging points for lecturers because what average student can afford an EV? When people park in unobstuctive manners they get clamped and on top of that the college involves guards? Are you serious? A joke. Their Garda vetting application process is also poorly organised with an inflexible enough ‘officer’.

06/08/2025: We had our wedding reception in Brubakers in July and are still in awe at how well it went. Firstly, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond what you’d normally get at a “typical” wedding. They were friendly, personable and got to know our guests drink orders as the night went on. The food was incredible, the party platters went down a treat and everybody loved the variety and amount of food. The grazing / charcuterie table went down a storm and everybody has been commenting on it since then. The decor was gorgeous, the extra flowers, the mirror, the TV screens all added little touches that helped make our day amazing. Larry and Shauna thank you so much for everything you did to help our wedding day be exactly what we wanted. We are forever indebted to you.

25/07/2025: Availed of the 'Any Pizza Any Size' for €13.99. Good value for the large. We ordered 2. Pizza arrived in good time however toppings we requested weren't included..Burger sauce missing from cheeseburger pizza too. Mind you the 'Pickle Pizza' might catch on in time. 2 star on this occasion..(Edit: Like Sarah below this was Dominos Dundalk)

12/07/2025: Got chips today absolutely vile,looks they were thrown in fryer over and over,this is a few times now I've had to post complaints,the old tonys is a far cry from the food served nowadays

07/12/2024: The full Irish breakfast is one of the best I have ever had! Great creamy hot chocolate too (and I am a picky one!) The service was very friendly and we got served fast. Inside is very pretty and cosy. Thank you 🥰

26/09/2025: Poor service. 30+min waiting for portion of wings. Restaurant is disgusting with trays all over the tables. Staff keep saying i want to go home. 20 mins of waiting and then staff asked if i want anything. Disturbingly poor management. Left without taking my food .

26/07/2025: The Phoenix Park cafe is in a great location. The owners have the luxury of getting a captive audience due to the volume of people visiting the park and the lack of places to eat. I feel that the food has gone downhill. I’ve been consistently disappointed with the last few visits. My last visit was at the end of June. We all ordered lasagne and the food was dry and tasteless. There was a lack of choice of salads on the day that we visited. This restaurant used to be great. It’s a shame.

06/06/2025: ¡Qué caída en desgracia! Hace unos años, este era un lugar increíble para comer con gran variedad y de primera calidad - no es así ahora. Hay poca variedad y mi pan tostado caro era horrible. El pan tostado carecía de queso y era duro como una roca - también puede haber sido cartón. El café no estaba mucho mejor. Los servidores eran agradables, pero no volveré. Esto no habría valido la pena a la mitad del precio.

30/09/2025: Consistently terrible with ill mannered, rude and unapologetic staff. Why are orders never ready? Why do staff feel it’s okay for you to wait for rudimentary menu items? Why dips always missing?? Decision made: Burger King in future!!

20/07/2024: Myself and partner went for dinner Thursday night. Starters were lovely. Mains - I got the beef burger and my partner got the chicken burger. His chicken burger was noticeably “wet” juices dripping out of the burger, his plate was soaked. He felt something was off, took the bun off the burger and we both noticed how pink the chicken burger was. The server came over and noticed it for herself that the chicken was pink. She quickly took it away to show her manager. The manager came over and apologised asked if he would like something else, we said no. We quickly left as my partner did not feel right. He vomited that night and had awful cramps the following day. The manager did not charge us for the chicken burger but charged for the rest of the meal. I left half of my burger on the plate as I was turned off my food by it all. Really disappointed as I’ve heard good things about the place.
