The best restaurants in Dundalk

06/01/2025: Very disappointed with this place, was business Christmas party, and we was not allowed to go in because one of team member was less then 25 years old. It’s very disappointing to hear this from staff. Even it was one person but the rest was over age group, left very unhappy.Don’t think ever back there.

08/12/2024: Called in today to view the renovations and have a meal. Staff were very inviting. Fantastic job on the renovation work. New menu looks amazing we opted for the pulled pork burger and Thai green curry mouthwatering. Definitely worth 5 ⭐️and a return visit

26/02/2025: Takeaway | €20–30 I ordered a medium “toasted” burrito for nearly €14, in the description it says that it’s made with a 12inch tortilla. As you can see in the picture, the burrito doesn’t seem toasted and it’s literally smaller than my hand. Very dissapointed, I'm convinced they gave me the small portion instead of the medium.

29/09/2024: I had a very disappointing experience at Zambrero Maxol Dundalk. We called 10 minutes before arriving, and the person on the phone confirmed the restaurant was open. After driving nearly 5 kilometers to get there, we were told at the counter that the shop was closed. This was at 8:30 pm, even though we were informed earlier that they close at 9 pm on weekends. It seemed like the staff was in a rush to close up early and head home. This lack of communication and poor service was very frustrating. Would not recommend relying on their service if you're in a hurry or driving a distance.

08/06/2024: Coffee was the worst ever, staff were rude. Won't be back.

01/11/2024: Be VERY CAREFUL ordering from this place. The delivery charge changes depending on driver and not location which is absolute robbery! Been ordering regularly for months now, pay €4.40 delivery online which is never any issue. But twice now (most recently tonight) a certain driver asks for more cash when they deliver the food because "the delivery charge is wrong" and stands at the door asking for more cash! Rang the takeaway, they said the delivery charge should have been €5.50 (this place is less that 3km away from me 😂😂). Had to root out change from the car because they wouldn't accept card online. Totally dodgy when the normal driver never asks for extra cash. A real dodgy spot so be very careful before wasting your money here!

04/03/2024: Best chicken Marland in town. Curry is also delicious 😋 Service is great . Only problem is they close too early . We used to love going and sitting in after a night out in the pub

23/10/2023: Delicious food. Service can be a bit slow but no major complaints

11/09/2023: Pizza is very good and I can recommend it. The only problem was that we were told there were 40 mins to wait and we waited almost 2 hours! Eventually i was so tired and stessed that I was about to leave. By the way the manager was kind and in the end came personally to apologies. I understand things like this may happen on particularly busy days like Friday is, but maybe they will learn from this experience and respect agreed times. For the rest pizza was very good and they were polite so I give good rates.
