02/02/2026: Celebrated me and my partners engagement with family, and was a perfect place for it. Kids enjoyed there food and was not disappointed. Always great food in this place and never does be a let down.
01/01/2026: By far the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Waiting 2.5hrs for food and when it arrived first all the order was wrong and when it eventually came it was stone cold. Paid almost €500. Absolute robbery.

24/10/2025: I ate there twice, the first time I didn't like it, the second time I liked it, I don't recommend the wrap, it's expensive, a small wrap costs 7€ and it's not tasty, I recommend getting the wings, they're tastier, 10 wings for 12€

14/02/2026: Paid 19.50 for a large pizza... should it not highlight on the create your own pizza option that cheese needs to be added? No cheese and drizzle should be changed to drenched. Got sausage and mushroom with chilli and garlic drizzle. All sauce, scrimped on the toppings. A sausage piece per slice and no cheese. Absolutely vile and came cold too. Slop.
02/11/2025: Ordered at 4.20pm today (Sunday). After 90 mins waiting i called to ask how long it would be. They first asked was I sure I ordered from the right place. Then they discovered that apparently their printer wasn't working so my order wasn't being made. No apology and very poor attitude on the phone. No offer of compensation even an extra bag of chips for having to wait 2 hours for food!! Anywhere can have technical issues like the printer but thsts not my fault it didnt print and its how it was handled then that was the most disappointing. Would really put us off ordering there again.

08/12/2025: Called in here on Saturday night, nice atmosphere, good crowd but not overcrowded, enjoyed the band and great pints. We'll be back again.
26/07/2025: The Phoenix Park cafe is in a great location. The owners have the luxury of getting a captive audience due to the volume of people visiting the park and the lack of places to eat. I feel that the food has gone downhill. I’ve been consistently disappointed with the last few visits. My last visit was at the end of June. We all ordered lasagne and the food was dry and tasteless. There was a lack of choice of salads on the day that we visited. This restaurant used to be great. It’s a shame.

18/09/2025: Rang to ask about food as it was nearly a hour since ordered.
Girl that answered was lovely, when she asked whoever in the background was rude & swearing , i asked to speak to a manger “owner” and he spoke disgusting trying to say it wasnt said and it was, didnt even apologise for it either, straight up being defensive said “ i was beside her” then when i rang second time to cancel for refund because of how rotten they spoke to customers said “ i asked the girl what she said” so where you beside her or not? More lies from the buisness. you can hear it clear of how she spoke, so i dont know how i can hear it on the phone and beside her people couldnt, and then he tried saying she was talking about another order although i just asked about mine? Turned me off the place completely.
04/07/2025: Honestly bad food this place has fell off. Chips are disgusting. Who ever is in charge of putting sauces on the food must be paying for the sauces themselves because they’re so miserable. Food not cheap either will never ever order again

20/01/2026: Sadly has changed for the worse, visited with my wife. Only 6 people in the restaurant, yet took nearly 2 hours for a starter and main meal. Food was not very good, service non existent, won't be returning.

09/11/2025: I had the misfortune of ordering a takeaway from this establishment for when I received it the portion of curry sauce was missing. When I contacted the premises I was told that the spice box meal didn't include curry sauce and when I told them that the photo clearly showed and stated that the sauce was included, they point blanked denied that this was the case. I would caution that customers should have second thoughts before ordering as you might not get what you paid for.
18/09/2025: Ordered a 3 in 1 with an extra portion of curry sauce. They didn't put any curry in the '3 in 1'. They gave me a small tub of curry sauce separately instead, so despite ordering an extra portion of curry sauce, I ended up not even having enough curry to lightly cover all of the food in this '3 in 1'. Also found a long hair in the middle of the food, which reflects the standard this establishment holds themselves to. I have never in my life seen peas in a 3 in 1 and that is because they shouldnt be there. But there they were. I also don't see why there would be massive chunks of half cooked onion in a 3 in 1, as there are usually only THREE ingredients in a 3 in 1- chips, rice and curry. I only received two of the required three in the container. This is beyond pathetic. How you can make a 3 in 1 incorrectly is beyond me. I will never order from here again.

20/07/2024: Myself and partner went for dinner Thursday night. Starters were lovely. Mains - I got the beef burger and my partner got the chicken burger. His chicken burger was noticeably “wet” juices dripping out of the burger, his plate was soaked. He felt something was off, took the bun off the burger and we both noticed how pink the chicken burger was. The server came over and noticed it for herself that the chicken was pink. She quickly took it away to show her manager. The manager came over and apologised asked if he would like something else, we said no. We quickly left as my partner did not feel right. He vomited that night and had awful cramps the following day. The manager did not charge us for the chicken burger but charged for the rest of the meal. I left half of my burger on the plate as I was turned off my food by it all. Really disappointed as I’ve heard good things about the place.

07/12/2024: The full Irish breakfast is one of the best I have ever had! Great creamy hot chocolate too (and I am a picky one!) The service was very friendly and we got served fast. Inside is very pretty and cosy. Thank you 🥰

02/11/2024: Ordered online and was told food would be ready at 16:16. Drove from my house in Ardee only to be told we don’t open till 5 yet online it’s says yous open at 3. Very disappointing and it’s clear service has gone down in the past few years.
