05/04/2025: Dined in this morning for breakfast. Great service, super choice & it’s absolutely spotlessly clean. Service was fast & friendly, food quality was excellent & cooked perfectly. Throughly enjoyed & highly recommend

06/05/2025: It was a great experience—clean and tidy place, quick and friendly service, and delicious food served in good portions.I recommend it. The only downside was the men’s toilet, which was dirty and had a broken flush.

30/04/2025: Decoration was funky but nice. I can get behind funky. Food was average but the service was terrible. Staff were forgetful and rude, got scoffed at for asking for salt and garlic mayo, then proceeded not to bring it to the table for twenty minutes. As someone who works in hospitality I’d get it if it was busy, there was two other tables in the entire place. Very disappointed.

25/01/2025: Had to wait over 1 hour for my order as they were short staffed in the kitchen. ( they have no tall chef's). I understand that it was the night after the big storm and most of the village had no power. However when I had to wait for over an hour, the least I expected was for my order to be correct. Alas it was missing a bag of chips. I didn't find out until I got home and we were all starving. I definitely wasn't going back to queue for an hour for chips. Disappointed guy's. Next time you're so short staffed please hire some taller staff. 😎😁

26/03/2025: Around 25 years ago my friends called me Gino... So, I had to try this restaurant🙂 I came in and I was truly surprised... The place is WOW - nice and clean, pleasant, spacious and tempting to try something new. Varied menu with a good few pearls in it - e.g. fried chicken with secret crumbs on it! and mixed kebab tray - just made my evening. Staff behind the counter ware extremely welcome, happy and willing to help with my order. It is next level of sit-in or takeaway. Thank you Gino's Diner. Great job👍🏼

06/05/2025: Great food at very good prices. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Clogherhead is a beautiful village so it's worth popping into Robertos for some snacks.

15/04/2025: This restaurant/takeaway felt dirty, server changed my cutlery upon putting it on the table as she quickly noticed before me that they were filthy. Not a great start! Lots to chose on the menu. I got 'salad' burger and chips €10.90 my friend got chicken wrap and chips €12.90 food came quick enough. Omg my burger was the size of a kids slider. The patty of beef was thiner than a kids McDonald's! The salad was a tiny amount of lettuce and onion! Enough chips for a family! The wrap tasted wrong...we both felt like finishing anything would give us food poisoning! Chips were lovely to be fair. The take away price of our meals was drastically less. Felt sick and robbed!

23/02/2025: Whilst doing some shopping in penny's we decided to try this place out. We are a family of 4. One of the best carvery around, I opted for pavaolva for desert and by God it went down a treat. The staff are so polite and welcoming also. Will defo be back

21/02/2025: Had breakfast here and food was nice and staff was lovley. Good portion size and priced very well. Easy to miss as it is in the back of the marshes where no one really goes. Go past the food court and past the barbers and you come across this gem. Seen they even have beer taps and wine menu if your having lunch and a cheeky jar. Would come back again.

06/05/2025: I honestly think it is the best fish and meat restaurant in Ireland, even comparable to one of the best in Europe. The restaurant has a full menu that includes appetizers, pasta, pizzas, and fine wines. It is important to book the table in advance

20/04/2025: Visited here last week for my friends birthday. There were 5 of us, and we all had the best time. Great music, lovely staff, and best of all, great atmosphere. 5 stars 🥳 we will definitely be back and will be recommending it to family and friends.

13/04/2025: Would not recommend party of 33 visited and where in the bar for at least 4 hours we had drinks socialised 1 of the party left the bar and came back but was refused entry by a very arrogant door man “Why “ no reason at all very disappointed the lady just went out wasn’t drunk at all but was refused entry said its over 25s we had planned to stay here unfortunately the party of 3:3 just then got up and left this is not good business the attitude arrogance of the door man was atrocious my husband tried to be resolve and said may oI speak with a manager but he said no I’m the boss of the door I’m the manager ( very strange for a manager of a bar to be dressed in security gear lol 😂 ) so my husband went in to ask the bar man but arrogant door man ran in quickly behind to the bar man to say no by gesture of cutting his throat we where not being unreasonable we just wanted to speak to a manager it seems like the door man is in a very big power trip we drank spent money and then he decides one person is not getting back in I really do think this is disgusting I nor any one with us Will ever go back there again ! I usually review place before attending and some of the reviews speak for themselves not good
