Moorland Café in Drogheda

Always unfortunate that Google does not allow half stars. The Moorland (by McCluskey's) is a true town institution, a cherished landmark and a must-visit for anyone seeking good food in Drogheda. In a town that has suffered years of decline and the loss of many local favourites, The Moorland remains a constant, serving quality food with the consistency and warmth that have made it part of the community fabric. Never quite high end with very average coffee,, hence the missing half star, but still one of the town's enduring success stories and somewhere I would happily recommend time and again.

Crushed ice doesn't go in an iced matcha and the use of AI posters is pretty disapointing.

Its a perfect place for breakfast and brunch, quick and friendly service, great value for your money and the cakes are great!

Good Food, but Service sometimes slow. Noisy. Busy as usual. Lots of Fancy Cakes.Gets a lot of Regulars. Service Upgraded . Very Reasonable Prices.

I had such a lovely experience at Moorland Cafe on Saturday morning, thanks especially to Leah. I can get quite anxious in open spaces, and she could not have been more kind, patient, and helpful. She made me feel completely at ease and went above and beyond to make my visit comfortable. Leah is a credit to the cafe - thank you so much! :)

Food lovely, staff are kinda brutal not friendly but friendly to fellow forgeiners?? Which annoyed me more..

As a tourist, this was an amazing stop with a good range of lunch and breakfast options.
