24/02/2026: Went here with my boyfriend for dinner recently and it was absolutely fantastic. A really warm and fun welcome at the door from the host. Super helpful waiters and the owner (I think) came to pour our wine and chatted to us about that particular Albariño and where he tasted it first. Just all nice little touches, that make local places like this stand the test of time. I had the chicken kyiv - faultless! So tasty and nostalgic. My bf had the hot seafood platter and it looked incredible, he loved it. The hand rolled croquettes are gorgeous and the freshly grated slaw - divine. The menu is keenly priced, as well. Just adore this kind of confident, comfortable service where you know you're in good hands. We'll be back again and again!

02/11/2025: I waited for about 10 minutes, they gave me french fries as a gift, but I ordered shawarma. Shawarma 7/10, not enough sauce, but tasty.

12/04/2026: We had some drinks and spent a couple of hours on a Friday night. It is a calm and nice place, suitable for couples, small groups or big gatherings. Staff is friendly and helpful, premises clean.

30/03/2026: The worse service in Drogheda. Barmen’s is rude. I absolutely not recommend visit this place.

10/04/2026: Received an email to atleast let yous know what happened for me to leave a 1 star review okay Where do I start ? Food up until about a year ago was nice downhill ever since every time I order for delivery there’s something missing this has happened multiple times why have a comment section on the app if your not going to read the comments. The food is constantly undercooked the chips pale and soggy. I ordered food the other night it said online it would be delivered in 50mins an hour and a half later food showed up missing 1 of the drinks the milkshakes were warm completely watery about a liter of mayo on the chicken burger and the driver saying it’s not his fault. Ive had a friend served chicken that was pink a danger to the public with the amount of money I’ve spent in this place over the years I atleast expect the food would be cooked and everything I ordered in the bag the bags of chips have gotten progressively smaller and the standard and customer service is dreadful I won’t be ordering food again and will not recommend to any friends again

08/02/2026: A Drogheda institution, my dad ate here as a child in the 1930s - liver and chips, and it's still on the menu, which thankfully doesn't seem to have changed in years. Decent food and good service

10/04/2026: Consistenly good. Spacious with plenty of different types of seating. Top service. Chilled background music at just the right volume. Only one gluten free option food-wise though

Also waited 20 minutes for this simple order, had to wait another amount of time for my order to be rectified ( other customers coming in and getting served and their food handed to them while I am waiting) staff quite unfriendly and unwelcoming and No apology for the delay

18/04/2026: the best kebab in the world. i simply can’t describe it as no words will ever get to do it justice. you just have to try it for yourself. their chicken tikka kebab meal is something i dream of, and when i can’t eat it i dream of eating it. it is made with love and soul, and the taste transcends above all knowledge of sense, identity, and vision as we know it. i hope this is still open the day i have children so they too can taste it. i can only hope that the memory of this kebab travels though my bloodline and is sent on. thank you for this kebab

23/01/2026: Ordered delivery at 5.30 through website, I called them at 7 and said they didn't have the order. Said to sent confirmation email to what's app, I did and no reply. Called again and told them info, then finally they said they will send the order, came at 8

19/03/2026: One of the best places in Dundalk to try Irish dishes at a great price. The fish and chips and the Irish breakfast are really filling and satisfying. For the quality, the prices are very reasonable, €17 for an Irish breakfast and €20 for haddock fish and chips. It’s also in a great location, right in the town centre, which makes it even more convenient.

02/03/2026: Ignorant staff wouldn’t even take my order kept telling me to use the machine even though they wouldn’t work

09/02/2026: Came recently there today, & tried ordering food there, very unhelpful staff, showed him the meal on the app that I had enough crowns/ points to redeem yet he denied me saying they don't have scanning machine to scan the barcode which is ridiculous as other burger king branches I visited have them as standard. Also said he needed the code to scan which is there, you can't miss it! Avoid this particular branch!
