26/07/2026: We absolutely loved our stay at The Grand Central Hotel! From the moment we arrived, Alan, the manager, could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. All of the bar and waiting staff were just as lovely and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, spotless and immaculate, with a beautiful view overlooking the sea. Breakfast the next morning was also fantastic and the perfect way to start the day. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay and will definitely be back again. 30/05/2026: Travelled down today for the third time with my family from Banbridge for lunch... An absolute delight from start to finish. Pleasant staff and amazing food... A hidden gem. Brilliant 😍

18/08/2026: Every couple of years I come to blackrock from New York to visit family. And EVERY time I stop in at the Roma for a burger. Seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had. Recommend it to anyone and everyone in the area.

02/08/2026: Best place to dine in and enjoy a meal, had their chicken chow mein and it was full of flavour, very delicious! The atmosphere in the restaurant was also really nice would highly recommend ☺️

29/06/2026: We were passing through Ardee on our way back from Donegal and stop in for food ar RICE restaurant. Our waitress Amanda was lovely very friendly. The food was excellent very tasty. We had a lovely meal here and would definitely drive to Ardee for this restaurant. It was pouring dowm with rain and Amanda kindly offered my husband a umbrella so he could go get the car as I waited for him to pull up closer to the door. Fantastic customer service from Amanda. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

18/08/2026: Food is terrible. The worst versions of everything. How do you mess up chips, or rice? I don't know, but The Kitchen knows. Awful.

15/08/2026: I ordered from the healthy menu tonight chicken in black pepper sauce with boiled rice arrived on time piping hot so delicious and so reasonably priced will definitely order again

06/09/2026: Worst food ever had ! Half pounder meal about 10 chips wrapped in white paper? Not good enough, chxiken garlic tray absolutely freezing cold no sauce tiny but of cheese and about 3 lumps of chicken never order again!

10/03/2026: Myself and my partner have travelled 40 minutes on multiple occasions to bia after calling to confirm opening hours but when walking in the door 3 young girls tell us they have closed early From a regular customer to bia management, this is extremely unprofessional as this is not the first time this has happened and 3 young girls that was representing your business were extremely rude - I will not be back when these staff members are working The older woman working for yous is a credit to your business, always polite friendly and helpful

17/12/2025: This is a favourite of mine, excellent full Irish and great pancakes and stuff, wonderful seating area with natural lighting and a view of the town through the windows

17/08/2026: Consistenly good. Spacious with plenty of different types of seating. Top service. Chilled background music at just the right volume. The egg mayo sandwich has regrettably disappeared from the menu 😕

24/06/2026: ordered a milkshake and chips, chips were rotten disgusting white yokes milkshake was decent, travelled from dublin to visit here after hearing lovely reviews.

30/07/2026: Salt and chile wings, deep fat fried. Teasted of bad oil, no spice. Covered in soy sauce to cover bad quality. Prawns with ginger and spring onion. Ask for some broccoli, charged me €2 for 3 little bits. Charged €6 for a side of noodles Ask for heverlea beer, got a beer, def not heverlea, dont know what it was. Conclusion. Poor food, extremely expensive for what you get. Wouldn't recommend and wont be back.
