19/04/2026: Everytime I get a drive-tru i come home and the orders missing something. Ya want to be checking the orders before you pull away from the window.

15/04/2026: Excellent experience in KFC on our visit to Dundalk. The food was perfection, hot and fresh. Ice cold drinks and the tables and seating area were spotless. Leigh, who served us, was pleasant, knowledgeable and extremely quick in handing us our order. We will be back!!

04/07/2026: Worst service I have ever had, they never get the full order, these people constantly leave parts of the order out, just went through the drive thru to get home and see that they forgot half the order, not the first time this happened.

The food is always great quality, makes my heart warm to know I can trust at least one takeaway for food at home and is always warm and welcoming when you go to sit in, I can't say I have ever had a bad experience here. Love the food! Love the service! Love the spot so much and I hope this place stays open forever cause I will come back again and again! Compliments to the entire staff here! 14/05/2026: My son went on my mobile and bought fourty euro worth of sushi!

31/05/2026: Food was disappointing and overpriced. Chicken wings were not freshly made as the skin was soggy and there was steam coming off them like they had been microwaved. Duck was tough and inedible, came on a bed of cold pieces of pineapple from a tin and shredded lettuce from a bag, for €27. Waitresses standing around chatting at their station drinking coke and water. Our waitress came over chewing while she took our order. We wont be back.

29/05/2026: went in, was completely empty, was with 3 other people, all dressed very well, i was wearing tracksuit bottoms, staff came to table asked if wanted food, said we were fine for food and wanted drink, staff replied “in sweatpants?” i said “is that a problem” she then said we have a dress code so wouldn’t serve us? Staff was wearing leggings Very strange.

05/05/2026: Decided to nip into this pub on bank holiday Monday for a pint of Guinness. Whilst the pub itself was welcoming, we cannot say the same for the staff. We ordered our pints and were met with “it’s cash only, there’s a cash machine in the back”, went back to discover that there was a €3.50 charge for the privilege. We decided to leave to try find a free cash machine only to be chased down the street. Another member of staff shouting down a busy street telling us that “maybe next time tell the bar woman that we don’t want the pints that she’d just pulled” and that we “weren’t nice” for leaving. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but is it not common practice to not pull a pint until payment had been received?! I truly have never encountered such animosity over something so trivial, and frankly we were not at fault in the slightest. If you’d pay your taxes and have a card machine, you wouldn’t have to chase customers down the street, and have multiple negative reviews.

03/05/2026: Warm bottles of beer. Cash only. Pool table in pieces. Basic drinks only, no cocktails. Avoid.

02/02/2026: I got few times food here and I never got disappointed. My favorite take away in Dunleer. The staff is very friendly. Shop in general is very clean.

29/05/2026: I placed an online order with Domino’s Pizza on 26 May 2026 at 11:57 pm. I monitored the app and saw the item’s status at the restaurant in Dundalk until 1:36 am. Finally, it was marked as ‘delivered’. I contacted the restaurant, but they claimed two delivery attempts had been made and they had tried to contact me. However, I had no missed calls that day, and two other residents were waiting for the delivery. No one saw or heard anything. The staff argued with me, insisting on taking the delivery driver’s word, which I hadn’t heard. I requested a refund, but they offered only 50% of the total amount, which I declined. They offered to speak to the manager, but he informed me he wouldn’t be in the building until 1 pm the next day. I contacted Domino’s customer care through their website, but I didn’t get a response. No delivery attempt was made to my house.

28/05/2026: This place is so hit and miss lately must be new staff not getting any training or not knowing how to make pizzas got two pizzas for my kids and wife and myself and 1 pizza had no sauce whatsoever and the other had a bucket load dominos do better

07/11/2025: I have been coming here since 2004. Yes its changed ownership etc but I have to say that you're recognised, if you've a problem, they respond and try rectify it. Yeah, we all have good food , bad food but they respect you, listen to you, try to rectify the problem. That's,the counterstaff, as they're the only people you see. I had an issue and male counterstaff membe, in the past solved issue for me, sorted it out, to my benefit and probably everyone else. Another issue tonight and working together we worked it out. This guy, is amazing. We butted heads but we both worked it out. That guy is worth every penny he gets. Minimum wage. Front line staff make you the money. Reward them, let them share in the profits too. Minimum wage should be the basic, but if they drum up business, let them share in the profits too. Everyone like being at home with family but unfortunately for that to happen, shift workers need to keep company-Country going. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at all shops, takeaways, for the jobs they do.

01/06/2026: Appalling behaviour from staff food brought to us cold soup hard brown bread not fresh please avoid not worth the risk of paying for food inedible. Will never be in this establishment again. Not sure had they any standards to begin with .
