06/01/2025: im back this time on the marshes kfc i have to say much nicer than kfc in muirhevnamor and staff was great too i purchased a 4 in 1 from new greatwall at this kfc.. it was scrumptious. All though its not even their own companys food it was delightful the man who served me was. a tall black gentleman and he had very gentle hands:)he works for both kfc and new greatwall if u ask for a 4 in 1 at this establishment they have them under the counte

17/04/2025: Ordered a 2 piece chicken fillet Snack box and it was terrible. Chips were almost white in colour, clearly under cooked and the chicken was bone dry and inedible. So 👎 bad. Waste of almost €10.

29/05/2025: Review: ⭐☆☆☆☆ One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a takeaway. There was no greeting, no “hello” or “what would you like to order” — nothing. I stood waiting while the staff completely ignored us. The first interaction came only when my pregnant girlfriend, needing to use the bathroom, politely asked if it was available. The woman in the blue puffer jacket — who seemed to be doing deliveries and taking orders — responded rudely, asking if we were going to order food, with a tone that was standoffish from the start. When I did place my order, she was pushy, impatient, and dismissive, especially when I asked about dietary requirements. Rather than offer help or show any understanding, she acted like I was being a nuisance. On top of that there was clearly onion in the curry sauce as It caused upset stomach within 30 minutes of eating. We left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Definitely won’t be returning.

The food was disappointing, and to make things worse, the delivery driver was incredibly rude and lacked basic manners. Save your money and go somewhere that respects their customers

04/09/2024: Martina at Bliss, Ardee is an amazing skilled baker and a lovely lady. She made our wedding cake and it was beyond our expectations. As we had no idea what we wanted she met us at her lovely shop to discuss over excellent coffee. She helped guide us in our choice and we left the creative design to her. We were blown away on the day when a beautifully decorated cake was personally delivered to our venue and set up to perfection. It provided a lovely end to our wedding meal and enjoyed by our guests with ( thankfully) some left for us the following day. We can't thank Martina enough for the beautiful cake, her complete professionalism and being part of our fantastic day. Thank you Martina. Jennifer & Harry

10/07/2024: €9 for a slice of cheesecake and a cup of coffee, in Ardee! You would expect to pay that sitting outside on the Champs Elysee. Avoid, stop at a filling station. Response to owners: At the trivial level I feel that I was caught for a sucker, I’ll get over it and it won’t break me. At the more serious level any tourist who felt that they were similarly done over in Bliss is likely to avoid any other artisan tea rooms in the whole of Ireland. So one business that works to this business model will actually spoil things for so many other similar establishments. The cheesecake and coffee were fine but not exceptional. In any similar French town we see the pâtisserie and boulangerie. These businesses are typically family run and will have been in place for decades and will be still there well into the future. So many attempts at this in Ireland are nothing more than pop-up shops that last just a few years. I feel that crucial difference is that the French do it to make a living, many Irish do it to make a killing.

23/02/2025: Safe your money as worse food we have gotten take away in a very long time. Chips are frozen chips not even fresh. Pizza was the most tasteless we ever had.

20/07/2024: Myself and partner went for dinner Thursday night. Starters were lovely. Mains - I got the beef burger and my partner got the chicken burger. His chicken burger was noticeably “wet” juices dripping out of the burger, his plate was soaked. He felt something was off, took the bun off the burger and we both noticed how pink the chicken burger was. The server came over and noticed it for herself that the chicken was pink. She quickly took it away to show her manager. The manager came over and apologised asked if he would like something else, we said no. We quickly left as my partner did not feel right. He vomited that night and had awful cramps the following day. The manager did not charge us for the chicken burger but charged for the rest of the meal. I left half of my burger on the plate as I was turned off my food by it all. Really disappointed as I’ve heard good things about the place.

07/12/2024: The full Irish breakfast is one of the best I have ever had! Great creamy hot chocolate too (and I am a picky one!) The service was very friendly and we got served fast. Inside is very pretty and cosy. Thank you 🥰

02/05/2025: Saw a 1st year puffing a lost Mary in the bathrooms, was smoking like a sprinkler. Curry sauce had a load of lumpy scutter, no taste in it at all Chips were extremely oily, bleedin shambles. Also veggies tasted of pure rubber, like tyres. Desperate.

21/03/2025: Kitchen legend is up there with the best Chineses in drogheda for sure, I never had any issue ordering from here for years don't get it as much since I bought my house on other side of town but still do get it the odd time. Sweet and sour chicken is my favorite it's absolutely amazing. Loads of options on their menu they aren't the cheapest around but you'll always get good quality food they rarely make a mistake with orders don't think I've ever had a mistake with my order. The spice boxes are the best in town. Especially for picking at if friends are over or anything like that. Cracking Chinese give it a shot you more than likely won't regret it!
