22/05/2026: Simple ordering a collection. understandable mistake, same name, wrong order given. i have driven back a second time only to receive an incomplete order, missing rice.

23/04/2026: First time there,really enjoyed the food,excellent service.Will be back.

22/06/2026: Snack box was just a stodgy mess. Mostly chips and not great value at €15.00. Threw out most of the chips, they cook them with something that gives them a coating that give an odd flavour. Curry sauce was not nice, too thick! Tried it as an alternative to another Chinese restaurant and I can't really fault the service, wait time was as they said. Seems the overall quality of food is going downhill at bit for this type of food in Drogheda.

09/10/2026: Have ordered regularly from Rice for the last 5 years, but the quality has been declining over the last year with notable issues with almost every order. Today, however, an order that cost over €40 arrived cold, missing an item, and with the sauce leaked all over the bag and other parts of the order. This is unacceptable and has confirmed my decision to not ever order from Rice again.

02/10/2026: Just a pity the dessert menu is limited to just Ice Cream currently. Otherwise all good.

12/08/2026: Previous visits to this public have been disappointing due to the loud volumn of the background music. This visit proved much more comfortable... Perhaps it because it was mid week. Anyway great pints great service this time around so will be back

10/03/2026: Myself and my partner have travelled 40 minutes on multiple occasions to bia after calling to confirm opening hours but when walking in the door 3 young girls tell us they have closed early From a regular customer to bia management, this is extremely unprofessional as this is not the first time this has happened and 3 young girls that was representing your business were extremely rude - I will not be back when these staff members are working The older woman working for yous is a credit to your business, always polite friendly and helpful

17/12/2025: This is a favourite of mine, excellent full Irish and great pancakes and stuff, wonderful seating area with natural lighting and a view of the town through the windows

01/10/2026: This place is full of foreign workers who cant speak or understand simple English. Last night I asked for 2 mayo chicken burgers with pickles instead of lettuce and I got neither just the buns, chicken and mayo. Please make sure your staff is capable of taking orders because I really didn't ask for that much and you still got it wrong.

26/07/2026: We absolutely loved our stay at The Grand Central Hotel! From the moment we arrived, Alan, the manager, could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. All of the bar and waiting staff were just as lovely and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, spotless and immaculate, with a beautiful view overlooking the sea. Breakfast the next morning was also fantastic and the perfect way to start the day. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay and will definitely be back again. 30/05/2026: Travelled down today for the third time with my family from Banbridge for lunch... An absolute delight from start to finish. Pleasant staff and amazing food... A hidden gem. Brilliant 😍

19/05/2026: Chips are always undercooked. Also, this is unrelated to the food but this restaurant is not even owned by Chinese people. It's owned by vietnamese people, that's why the Chinese food taste so fake

30/03/2026: Went here at around 5:10pm for dinner, the restaurant was freezing and after a while of asking they said it would heat up slowly, never did. Ordered a arribiata pasta, it came out with a fajita seasoning sauce on it was nothing like any arribiata sauce I’ve ever had. Pizza came out cold and was so flat and flavourless. Chicken Milan came out with a microwaved sauce on the side and and a flat breast of chicken. Paid full price for rubbish in a bad atmosphere of a place.

15/02/2026: Went there for valentines as last minute place, was more than happy with our food my lasagne was gorgeous the sauce had a nice rich taste of it and my partner ( picky eater) loved his pasta which had the steak and Chicken in it he loved every bit of, the staff was more than lovely, such a wee hidden gem highly recommend

13/07/2026: I had a small misunderstanding with my order and chose the wrong option by mistake, so I couldn't eat what I ordered. However, the staff was amazing! They reacted quickly, explained everything very politely, and remade a fresh kebab for me. They even gave me a free Coca-Cola as a bonus! Amazing customer service, the food here is always delicious and served very fast. Highly recommend!

02/10/2026: Absolutely enjoyed the food and atmosphere with the old school diner vibes. The wait staff were also great and prompt. Highly recommend when looking for a good burger & shake.

23/07/2026: The place was Empty the Food Quality was ok but the Quantity was very poor!!... was still hungry when I left the Restaurant... ordered rice & chips with my chicken curry...the Rice Arrived in what looked like the Sugar bowl an the portion of chips waz Very miserable Also.... definitely not value for Money therefore I shall not Be Back anytime soon.....
