Bad
• cocktails are really bad, whiskey sour tasted like whiskey and soda water, passionfruit martini tasted like a strong mi wadi.
• steak we asked for it rare and it came out well done and chewie
• speakers not working in beer garden making the place lack atmosphere.
Good
• good service and they gave 2 free drinks after we said the streak was not good.
• combo platter was above average.
• we both went to birra moretti after the bad cocktails and they where really nice.

26/06/2025: I often go here for food, and in person the food was delicious. However I ordered delivery tonight. The prices were higher, the portions were smaller and the same dish I always get was not saucy but more watery and not cheesy as it usually is. It's also usually served with chips but they're extra on delivery 🙄. Husband got carbonara and it wasn't great either. Could have made it at home for a quarter of the price. So disappointed. Called the chef who just disregarded my complaint. I won't be going back in person either. I guess loyal customers don't matter.
21/06/2025: Twice in a month we have been in the restaurant for a family gathering-the food is amazing, the staff are lovely people and it’s extremely good value-I honestly don’t know why it’s not more busy-we will certainly be back soon-Lynn Rice

24/05/2025: Place has gone down hill massively. Waited over an hour for a delivery and when we got the food it was terrible to say the least. Delivery driver has a serious attitude problem 👍 only thing going for this place is the nice girl on the phone.

09/02/2025: So long waiting for food, it is disgusting pizza and food undercooked, my chips fell I went back in and asked can I get a replacement and they said “so what your not getting one” rudely. The service takes absolutely ages and it’s horrible.

Absolutely fantastic takeaway! I didn’t have huge expectations when I popped into Roma, but it completely blew me away. The pizza was gorgeous, perfectly crispy base, delicious toppings, and just really, really yummy. The chips were proper chippy chips, made from real spuds, fresh, clean, and full of flavour. The curry was amazing too, not your usual dark chip shop curry, but a lovely light, thick, homemade-style curry that was absolutely delicious.
It’s a family-run business with such a friendly atmosphere. I’m not from the area, but I’d definitely come back. Highly recommend!

29/07/2025: Lefty's is gone and so is the quality this chipper was famous for.Sad to see as it was the best chipper in town always good and now gone way down the long line of customers not there anymore.Staff are excellent but they can only serve the food the owner cooks which is definitely not the high standard it was.Pity to see this happening.Customers will go elsewhere for quality and value.

06/09/2025: Very disappointed with burger king staff were standing around talking as place was quite we order to meals to take away we received our food to which we found chips missing the wrong drinks giving and the food we did receive was cold very disappointed will not be returning.

18/07/2025: Proper old school (but modern if that makes sense) Caf we dined in. The menu is brilliant, I went for the full fry today and it was top notch. I heard another customer order some liver which you don't see much of these days. I plan to return. The server, possibly boss or owner was very friendly, and she runs a tight ship! All the other diners spoke with local accents, which is always a good sign. I'll be back soon for the mixed grill. Great value also, these folk dont skimp on the portions. I highly recommend this place 👌
23/06/2025: Ordered a curry chip with onions and taco sauce only to realize when I got home neither onions or taco sauce has been added. Very poor service not listening to customer orders properly. If this is the case, why bother asking what we want. Joke. Disgusted customer.

The food is always fresh, tasty, and full of flavour. Portion sizes are generous, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I order from here often and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!
01/06/2025: Have been using this business since 2006, considering I live close by and walk to order food and always early evening.
All businesses can go through bad times. But over the years, I have seen many new faces and many new variations on food dishes. I get to know the staff, and they know what I like, and if not happy, I go back immediately, and they staff fix it.
However, I've never had a delivery service or ordered late in the evening. So, the Google reviews will be mixed for sure.
Also, to note the asian takeouts in drogheda seem to change hands every 4 to 5 years for whatever reason. I still use this business.
