24/10/2026: Great kebabs and southern fried chicken, stuff very helpful and will treat you well, I was very hungry and a man gave me extra chips, he saved my life 😄

25/08/2026: Usually the food is great but the last few times I have gotten the fresh cod it has been terrible, such a shame used to go all the time.

30/08/2026: Drove up to brewbakers. Not one sip of alchol. The two bouncers working on the sunday the 30th of august didn’t let me and 4 others in saying we’re too drunk. But then let 15 clearly drunk girls. Absolute disgrace. “The boss said no” i’d like to know if the boss really said no.

23/08/2026: An absolute disgrace of a place came up the road 6 hours met by door staff asked where we were from said cork and told not aloud in. No drinks just told no. I hope ye are met with the same response to any place ye try go spend a weekend away. Places like ye are the cause of tourism dying in ur town

26/09/2026: Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the customer service at Kebab Palace. The lady wearing glasses who took our order was extremely rude, and her attitude was not welcoming at all. She lacked basic customer service manners and made the whole experience very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, at the end a staff member (female)simply slammed our food down on the counter. It was an unpleasant and obnoxious experience. Customers expect to be treated politely and with respect, regardless of how busy the restaurant may be. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and provides appropriate customer service training to the staff member concerned.

24/08/2026: Ordered two kebabs and asked for everything separated, since we don't like everything drenched in sauce. Got charged extra for the request — and then billed for sauces I never ordered. The meat was tough, easily the worst kebab I've had. €3 for a soggy naan and nearly €4 for a measly portion of chips. I've paid less for a proper sit-down meal on one of Dublin's main streets. Service was blunt when I simply asked about the menu. Between the attitude and the padded bill, it felt less like a takeaway and more like a shakedown. Won't be back.

24/08/2026: Could not get Dominos "any size pizza €9.99 on Mondays." TODAY IS MONDAY. Very poor show.

24/06/2026: The pizza was okay, but it arrived so late that food was stone cold I have to heat it up before eating, whats the point of paying money to get cold food, and even fries was shaggy and looks like been in the box for ages.

29/08/2025: Standards have dropped dramatically. Was a regular visitor to this hotel and would visit 2-3 times a year and brought family and friend regularly. My last two stays I have to say were terrible. We went as 2 adults and 2 children. First time people smoking in the rooms with the doors open I reported it and nothing happened the same the next night and was told its probably coming in from the balcony. People shouting and banging all hours of the morning and again nothing done. The quality of breakfast is probably a 3 at best where it was always 9-10 and then I was charged an extra €2 for a cappuccino at breakfast (never seen that before ANYWHERE). spoke to the waitress and was told there's a new chef and it's just been brought in.Got in touch with the hotel afterwards to complain and got 3 different people to email. Eventually the manager got in touch much with me and apologised and offered me a deal to return and to just contact him that he wants to prove it was a once off.. When I did eventually contact him for a return for 2 adults 2 children and returned it started on check in. First room we were giving was one double bed 1 single bed ,I went back to reception and giving another room and again it was 1 double one single. I went again to reception to ask was this a joke. The girl gave me keys to another room and told me to check the room first to see if it was okay. The room was downstairs and didn't feel like part of the hotel. There was plenty of beds but the double bed mattress was wafer thin and very uncomfortable. I rang reception and the other lady came and brought me to another room 512 and asked was it okay. It looked good and had the double and 2 single beds as required. The lady apologised and was very helpful. When my son sat on his bed he nearly fell off it as the base was broken, again I called reception and the lady came back and seen the bed and again apologised and went and got a base off another bed. We just accepted it as we Had Been through 4 rooms already at this stage. First morning breakfast was okay and fresh but the next morning we were waiting on bits to come out from the kitchen then got burnt breakfast and was served our milk in a teacup with not even an apology. I reported all this to the manager by email when we got home and his response was. ,thank you for your feedback.. So if that's the general managers response it says it all. Cannot see myself returning here anytime soon and can not recommend this hotel to family or friends.... Just seen this hotel is now up for sale so that explains why the management couldn't care less....

15/07/2025: The D Hotel is closed to tourists until 2027. It is being used as a Refugee Reception Centre until then.

27/06/2026: Do not order wraps, they dont know how to make wraps, too much of sauce, it was like I was swimming in that, i recommend to stay with pizza, if you wanna make wraps, please employ at least Arab man, otherwise dont do it.

13/06/2026: Lovely crew, quick service and food as you would expect a lovely guilty pleasure 😊

22/10/2026: Shop owner made quite some rude remarks against my friend after she just took a picture of a necklace. My friend is one of the most wholesome people I have ever met, and even after she apologized profusely the owner kept muttering words of disapproval under her breath. Would recommend buying your souvenirs somewhere else.
