26/06/2026: Been allowed to sit with a dog outside 100 times. So many parties made in there, spend 1000 of euros during the years. Now was refused to sit with a dog for no reason. Never had any issues. Never stepping back , no any parties will be made in there whatsoever. Thanks for hospitality

12/07/2026: Waiting 2 hours for a delivery . Ridiculous embarrassing

11/07/2026: Order as takeaway a quarter pounder with cheese and a mixed salad (with more green and less onions). At the checkout I was presented only a burger. The guy with the glases taking the order acted as if I ordered wrong and asked if I want a bowl of salad. After waiting 10min for the salad I found at home that there is zero dressing on the salad. Money wasted.

23/08/2026: An absolute disgrace of a place came up the road 6 hours met by door staff asked where we were from said cork and told not aloud in. No drinks just told no. I hope ye are met with the same response to any place ye try go spend a weekend away. Places like ye are the cause of tourism dying in ur town

29/08/2025: Standards have dropped dramatically. Was a regular visitor to this hotel and would visit 2-3 times a year and brought family and friend regularly. My last two stays I have to say were terrible. We went as 2 adults and 2 children. First time people smoking in the rooms with the doors open I reported it and nothing happened the same the next night and was told its probably coming in from the balcony. People shouting and banging all hours of the morning and again nothing done. The quality of breakfast is probably a 3 at best where it was always 9-10 and then I was charged an extra €2 for a cappuccino at breakfast (never seen that before ANYWHERE). spoke to the waitress and was told there's a new chef and it's just been brought in.Got in touch with the hotel afterwards to complain and got 3 different people to email. Eventually the manager got in touch much with me and apologised and offered me a deal to return and to just contact him that he wants to prove it was a once off.. When I did eventually contact him for a return for 2 adults 2 children and returned it started on check in. First room we were giving was one double bed 1 single bed ,I went back to reception and giving another room and again it was 1 double one single. I went again to reception to ask was this a joke. The girl gave me keys to another room and told me to check the room first to see if it was okay. The room was downstairs and didn't feel like part of the hotel. There was plenty of beds but the double bed mattress was wafer thin and very uncomfortable. I rang reception and the other lady came and brought me to another room 512 and asked was it okay. It looked good and had the double and 2 single beds as required. The lady apologised and was very helpful. When my son sat on his bed he nearly fell off it as the base was broken, again I called reception and the lady came back and seen the bed and again apologised and went and got a base off another bed. We just accepted it as we Had Been through 4 rooms already at this stage. First morning breakfast was okay and fresh but the next morning we were waiting on bits to come out from the kitchen then got burnt breakfast and was served our milk in a teacup with not even an apology. I reported all this to the manager by email when we got home and his response was. ,thank you for your feedback.. So if that's the general managers response it says it all. Cannot see myself returning here anytime soon and can not recommend this hotel to family or friends.... Just seen this hotel is now up for sale so that explains why the management couldn't care less....

15/07/2025: The D Hotel is closed to tourists until 2027. It is being used as a Refugee Reception Centre until then.

24/08/2026: Could not get Dominos "any size pizza €9.99 on Mondays." TODAY IS MONDAY. Very poor show.

24/06/2026: The pizza was okay, but it arrived so late that food was stone cold I have to heat it up before eating, whats the point of paying money to get cold food, and even fries was shaggy and looks like been in the box for ages.

24/08/2026: Ordered two kebabs and asked for everything separated, since we don't like everything drenched in sauce. Got charged extra for the request — and then billed for sauces I never ordered. The meat was tough, easily the worst kebab I've had. €3 for a soggy naan and nearly €4 for a measly portion of chips. I've paid less for a proper sit-down meal on one of Dublin's main streets. Service was blunt when I simply asked about the menu. Between the attitude and the padded bill, it felt less like a takeaway and more like a shakedown. Won't be back.

31/07/2026: We love this place, love the food. Lately the delivery has been very very slow. I live 2km from the restaurant and delivery took 90mins. We had to call to get an update and all we were told was "it's left the shop already". I hope they can figure out a better system for delivery, because the food is genuinely very good.

27/06/2026: Do not order wraps, they dont know how to make wraps, too much of sauce, it was like I was swimming in that, i recommend to stay with pizza, if you wanna make wraps, please employ at least Arab man, otherwise dont do it.

28/05/2026: Never can go wrong with the food here, the odd time the order will be incorrect, but staff are always friendly and food is consistently good.
