13/07/2025: Physically sick after eating from here tonight. Food not cooked. Raw chicken. Reporting this place to FSA. Very dirty eat out off there 2 times and both times felt sick won't be back again!

02/07/2025: As someone who lives nearby, I truly hope this space can be run by someone who’s transparent and committed to the local community. There have been past disputes involving tenancy or business takeover deposits, and it’s sad to see people losing money. If you’re considering leasing this shop, just make sure you get legal documents and proper agreements in place. The community deserves fair and trustworthy businesses. This is based on both public info and what I’ve observed over time. I live nearby and had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, I’ve learned of serious issues involving disputed tenancy deposits and questionable takeover deals. Multiple people have reportedly lost money through unclear or unfair agreements, and there has been a lack of transparency from those involved. If you’re planning to rent or lease this premises, please insist on clear written contracts, legal oversight, and avoid any cash payments without receipts. The local community deserves honest, accountable businesses — not repeated financial harm. We hope Google and local authorities pay closer attention to what’s happening here.

04/07/2025: Honestly bad food this place has fell off. Chips are disgusting. Who ever is in charge of putting sauces on the food must be paying for the sauces themselves because they’re so miserable. Food not cheap either will never ever order again

20/07/2024: Myself and partner went for dinner Thursday night. Starters were lovely. Mains - I got the beef burger and my partner got the chicken burger. His chicken burger was noticeably “wet” juices dripping out of the burger, his plate was soaked. He felt something was off, took the bun off the burger and we both noticed how pink the chicken burger was. The server came over and noticed it for herself that the chicken was pink. She quickly took it away to show her manager. The manager came over and apologised asked if he would like something else, we said no. We quickly left as my partner did not feel right. He vomited that night and had awful cramps the following day. The manager did not charge us for the chicken burger but charged for the rest of the meal. I left half of my burger on the plate as I was turned off my food by it all. Really disappointed as I’ve heard good things about the place.

03/07/2025: This is consistently the slowest mcdonald's I have ever seen. The last time I was there I waited 20 minutes for a basic meal, today I waited the same for a 6 pack nuggets and a drink, and this has been my experience over half the time here. The one time they even forgot my order. Today after having enough of watching young immature girls prentending to work waving to their friends into the lobby and walking as slow as a snail back and forth over and over from the kitchen empty handed doing absolutely nothing I had enough and had to call someone from the kitchen for a refund because I was on the clock and couldnt wait any longer. It wasn't even busy and another couple ahead of me waited longer than me for just 2 coffees. 20 minutes for coffees! The manager came and refunded me but claimed she was absent during lunch hour and didn't know what was happening and will review the cameras. She still gave me the 6 nuggets which were cold anyway and my appetite was spoiled by that point. It is clear this mcdonald's has absolutely no leadership and whoever owns it doesnt care one bit.

08/06/2025: DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE ! Friday night at 9pm we called to place an order for collection and was greeted by a very rude loud woman , ordered a mixed kebab and a doner kebab , nothing with no onions but covered in onions , asked for cheese got no cheese , the big lumps on chicken on the kebab were ridiculous about 4 lumps.on the whole kebab and just pure watery sauce , I asked the woman of the chicken could be cut up small and she replied oh we are too be to be doing things like that which I found very rude especially when your paying €34.00 ! The chips were over cooked and very few in the bag and seemed to be frozen chips just not happy at all with the whole experience, getting kebabs years and was always better when the owner was there and then men , the women are so rude and have just ruined it KEBAB PALACE IS NOT THE SAME WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN.

25/05/2025: Order online and was given the wrong order so I called back and was told that I had been given the correct order and nothing else was done about it, will be reporting to the HSA as what was served could have cause a severe allergic reaction

22/06/2025: Great spot. Maggie and her team are friendly, understanding of dietary requirements and remember you for the next time. Beautiful restaurant and extremely tasty fresh food.

23/04/2025: Awful service, I asked for 5 forks as myself and five friends bought spice bags, the man working behind the counter tried to charge me €10 and then continued to slam the hatch door in my face after I chucked over the price!!! I later rang back, the same man answered and claimed to be the owner!! When I tried to make the complaint he began to shout again and told me to listen to him!! And finished the phone call by saying “go to bed”!! Absolutely ridiculous this man should be ashamed of himself treating paying customers this way!!!

22/02/2025: Two weeks in succession and we’re after being given stuff totally different to what we ordered - only discovered of course after getting home and opening the bag - time to go elsewhere !!!

23/06/2025: Its extremely nice food especially the megaboxes they have the best megaboxes in the country the ribs should have more meat on them though but other then that everything is perfect !!

04/06/2025: Won't come back. Staff seems to be very tired or just lazy. Premises needs an renovation. Looks like a very cheap chipper. Food quality wasn't great. Selection of dishes and drinks are below of what was expected from restaurant in the town center. Difficult to find parking spot.

To top it off the order wasn't right Is this deliberately down on drive through knowing you dont want to be driving back down Have a photo but can't see where to post it

06/07/2025: we came here a couple of days ago probably one of the bests mcs we've ever had for a very long time, the service was quick and the food was great.

10/07/2025: Ordered food from here yesterday, mixed kebab meat was lovely just kebab needs more chilli and garlic sauce was dry for so much meet you need lots of sauce , the nan bread was overcooked it was crispy nan bread should be fresh and soft , chips were ok just frozen chips , chicken pakora was nice but needs more flavor and bigger pieces of chicken, the staff really friendly and nice , also Taj please used some brown bags for food it's not nice foor just in plastic bag you need to be using brown takeaway bags please .

21/03/2025: Gone to the dogs since it was renovated under new management it was made to be a more sporty kind of bar, people were promised big things and what drogheda needed but didn't turn out like that whatsoever. It was a great spot before that when it was more fancish and had great music, food and vibes always packed on weekends but it's not anymore. I would avoid this place now even the kind of people they let in now prove it. Such a let down. I've been in it twice since its renovation and made the decision of not going back for the foreseeable. If you're looking for a fancish bar with good food, vibes and music Trinity quarter is your spot only a short walk down the road. Everyone I've talked to about this place doesn't step foot in it anymore. They Should've left it the way it was. And the reviews in recent times prove it so different from the reviews before the new management. Foods alright but I would still Avoid.
