11/12/2024: I order two meal deals but only received one portion of chips when I tried ringing to rectify their mistake nobody answered the phone I must have rang 4 or 5 times
02/11/2024: Ordered online and was told food would be ready at 16:16. Drove from my house in Ardee only to be told we don’t open till 5 yet online it’s says yous open at 3. Very disappointing and it’s clear service has gone down in the past few years.

25/11/2024: Heard this place improved so gave it a go @ the weekend, ordered a half pounder meal & kabab sauce,, the chips were tiny & the half pounder was more like a quarter pounder with no taste & kebab sauce wasn't great either, very disappointing, wont be back here again
08/11/2024: Was disgusted with the attitude of Paulina who told me she is the owner’s wife. She fired all our food into one bag without asking if we wanted salt and vinegar or anything wrapped separately. When I questioned this I was abused. She is obnoxious in the extreme. Have been here many times over the years but will never go there again.

09/03/2025: This place is an absolute joke. We waited an hour and a half for our food, and when it arrived, it was completely undercooked. The spices were raw and uncooked. On top of that, the service was nonexistent, with zero hospitality or care for customers. Easily one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. Total waste of time and money

03/04/2025: Ordered a 10 inch burrito from the meal deal and this is the sad excuse of a burrito I received… more like 10 centimetres. Not to mention the teaspoon of rice and chicken. Half of it was pure tortilla, absolute joke.

I ordered a medium “toasted” burrito for nearly €14, in the description it says that it’s made with a 12inch tortilla. As you can see in the picture, the burrito doesn’t seem toasted and it’s literally smaller than my hand. Very dissapointed, I'm convinced they gave me the small portion instead of the medium.

28/03/2025: My experience is in contrary to the many negative reviews for this subway in M1 retail park. The service was great. The tables and floors were clean. The food looked fresh and counter area looked very tidy. The two girls at the counter were extremely friendly and had lovely smiles on their faces to welcome everyone. I didn't feel rushed and my food were prepared step by step with plenty of ingredients. I would definitely visit again. Cheers.

05/01/2025: It has been a few years since my last visit to this restaurant, however we decided to go there on Saturday for a family meal and it was a lovely experience. The food was delicious, with a good variety menu. The service from the team was very professional and friendly which is almost as important as the food. The ambience in the restaurant was warm and welcoming and decor very tasteful.
I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again very soon.
01/01/2025: Went for my Daughter's birthday. Excellent restaurant and delightful staff. They even sang happy birthday to her, which was a lovely touch.

20/02/2025: Very expensive staff rude don’t want to serve cocktails because it takes too long and food was horrible had to ask for it to be heated 3 times as the food was cold would not recommend
01/01/2025: Just popped in for a quick snack .
Was very surprised at the menu everything is very expensive as with most pubs in Ireland now. Meal was average the chips were made from cheap frozen and were overcooked and greasy or still frozen not sure how they managed that. Only had what was supposed to be a Coke which was flat and was basically water. Next time I'll keep driving and look for somewhere else.

23/02/2025: Arrived at the end of the carvery when everything looked dried up. Chef said we weren’t allowed order from Snack menu. Too early apparently. The beef was grey. Against better judgement I ordered it. Probably the worst Carvery I’ve ever had. The place looked pretty empty too. I’ll drive past next time.
19/01/2025: Been a regular customer of Dooleys since they opened 15/16 years ago. Looked forward to Breakfast on Saturday 18th Jan, first visit in 2025. Found the menu had changed and couldn't swap out items any longer. Build your own breakfast was way over priced per item. This is a new addition to the menu. One of my party often got Sausage and Chips but Chips was now off the menu for Breakfast even when close to lunchtime. The quality of the food was horrendous which is a new departure for them. The food came out very quick and was very dry. It was pre cooked and just reheated. The breakfast was always cooked fresh but it was awful this time and will not be back in a hurry.
