19/08/2026: Stayed in Dundalk for a couple of days and got a takeaway from here..the staff were really friendly and the food was great..we thought the price was very reasonable too..would defo recommend to anyone looking for a takeaway in the town.

02/08/2026: I assumed this place was only apache pizza but upon arrival I was surprised that there was also a Chinese, I tried their apache special pizza and their salt and chilli prawn and I got to say it was absolutely delicious this place is honestly a hidden gem in the heart of Clogherhead!!

06/09/2026: Just rotten is the only words to describe this food I normally drive to pats carry out newry to a proper chipper freshly battered sausages daily i got a battered sausage from here the batter was like rubber frozen dirt chios were rotten curry sauce is bland as wont be returning my custom wont refect on your trade simply because the people of drogheda no no difference rotten food

17/05/2026: I remember Dominics used to be a great chippy. Now, the food is bland and the staff are really rude and dismissive.

10/08/2026: Took Cod and battered sausage, was tasty and the chief was really nice and efficient!

19/07/2026: Ordered and paid €7.20 for a 1/4 with cheese and that is literally all I got, there was no ketchup/sauce or salad and did'nt realise till I got home. Very disappointed.

03/10/2026: My experience was they couldn't serve me they had no bread at 1pm on a Saturday. Apparently the girl was there on her own this morning so she was trying to do everything .A disgrace I was on my lunch break she told me an hour I met loads of people on my way down the stairs and told them it be an hour before the bread was ready what sort of Manager and Management would letters happen on a Saturday and yous have big signs out side with special offers a total joke

02/10/2026: Very disappointing experience at the Subway in M1 Retail Park, Drogheda on 2 September around 4:40pm. The employee serving us was unpleasant and unwelcoming from the moment we approached the counter. There was no greeting or friendly customer service and we were made to feel like an inconvenience for coming in to order food. I initially said I didn’t want anything else when asked, but within a minute I decided to add another sub to the order. The employee responded with an unnecessary attitude, saying, “When I asked you if you wanted anything else you said no.” I found this extremely rude, especially over such a minor change to an order. The attitude remained unpleasant throughout the rest of the ordering and payment process. To make it even worse, we were only told after paying that the seating area was closed. This should have been communicated before we ordered if customers weren’t able to sit in the restaurant. I’ve normally found Subway staff to be friendly and pleasant, so this experience was particularly disappointing.

12/10/2026: Bought food late on Sunday night. Chicken breast only warm and chips with garlic and cheese was disgusting. Chips made fresh and a liquid cheese poured over chips with some garlic sauce.. Did not feel the better from that sadly.

29/06/2026: Went to mcaris today to get a battered sausage and a milkshake. it was fairly busy but i just waited patiently. after 20 minutes the man gave me my milkshake and i said thanks and continued to wait for my battered sausage. after 10-15 minutes the man goes to me sorry what did u order again? i said i ordered a battered sausage and he goes okay sorry 2-3 minutes. i didnt mind at all since they were a little busy. a girl came and before she handed me the battered sausage she went on the till to charge me but i had already paid and i said i already paid. she says rudely no you didnt i said yes i did. and this was in front of everyone in the shop including people that i know. i said yes i did and she goes to ask one of the workers he said no i didnt. i told her i paid the guy with the piercing. and she huffs and throws me the bag over the counter. i walked out of there feeling so embarrassed which was not fair and a show was made.
