Previous visits to this public have been disappointing due to the loud volumn of the background music. This visit proved much more comfortable... Perhaps it because it was mid week. Anyway great pints great service this time around so will be back

Great place for a few pints.Great music and good atmosphere..Be prepared to spend that little bit more on the price of drink,bit you do get live music for it..

27/06/2026: This restaurant definitely the best in Carlingford, and great value for imaginative, fresh, perfectly executed food. Crab creme brûlée was a delight, the oysters deliciously fresh and seafood seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend this friendly, unpretentious place that serves food to be proud of!

Schooners Restaurant

14/08/2026: We arrived at 7pm and were chancing our arm to get a table. The staff were very welcoming and warm. We were all ravenous after a day at the beach so were grateful that dinner was served promptly. I had one of the best burgers in a very long time, my fellow diners raved about the carbonara and the fish. I would definitely come here again.
