08/10/2025: Well run efficient friendly service, very busy takeaway, lots of options , huge menu, oriental noodles and other oriental dishes, spice bag very good. ( only reason foe less stars is kids chicken strippers a little too much batter and not enough chicken, sager to order noodles or proper oriental dishes, spice bag lovely flavour, quite spicy

13/12/2025: Always order online , so dont know how it is inside but for some reason the pizza tastes better when you leave it overnight and then microwave it, not sure if im just a weirdo or that makes it taste better.

21/09/2025: Great pizza, bought their Four cheese(Quattro Formaggi) pizza and asked for extra sauce. It was delicious. Chips are bang on!

29/07/2025: Lefty's is gone and so is the quality this chipper was famous for.Sad to see as it was the best chipper in town always good and now gone way down the long line of customers not there anymore.Staff are excellent but they can only serve the food the owner cooks which is definitely not the high standard it was.Pity to see this happening.Customers will go elsewhere for quality and value.

08/11/2025: I would suggest you check you order before leaving. On 3 occasions was left short Rice, chip,and curry sauce. No point in phoning as ask to return to pick up.

28/10/2025: Found long straight hair in our food (we’re black) a few weeks ago. We barely touched the food & we were refused when asked for it to be remade/refunded. I’m a regular customer but no longer, it’s about the principle.

30/11/2025: DkIT is a very modern and well-equipped campus, with bright classrooms, fresh buildings and impressive laboratories. The facilities feel clean, up-to-date and genuinely practical — you get the sense that students spend more time doing than just listening. Equipment looks modern, the technical spaces are well maintained, and overall the campus has a professional, contemporary feel. Academically, DkIT leans toward hands-on, industry-focused courses rather than theoretical paths. The strengths here are in engineering, construction, agriculture/food-related sciences, pharma and skills that link directly to employment. It’s very much a “learn the profession, get the job” environment — ideal for applied learners, but not suited for someone looking for pure physics or research-heavy theoretical science. A lecturer with a physics background shared interesting insight into the current nuclear landscape in Ireland, which was an unexpected and engaging conversation. Students were also friendly — especially in the acting department, who even invited us to their upcoming performance, which says a lot about the atmosphere here. DkIT is due to gain full University status in 2026 and has begun collaborating with Queen’s University Belfast, which could make the academic offering even stronger in future years. It will be interesting to see how this partnership develops, and whether new programmes expand beyond the existing applied focus. Overall, this is a modern, practical, career-oriented institute with excellent facilities and a very approachable feel. A great choice for someone who wants a direct pathway into work.

02/10/2025: Parking is an absolute joke. People don’t drive to college just to walk or take a bus to campus. They take away 4 parking spaces for EV charging points for lecturers because what average student can afford an EV? When people park in unobstuctive manners they get clamped and on top of that the college involves guards? Are you serious? A joke. The clampers are absolute vultures

07/09/2025: It's a bummer to see local businesses fading away. More companies are just going online and forgetting how to sell face-to-face. Thank goodness the Internet can't serve up coffee, cakes, and fresh juice - imagine the delivery chaos!

02/10/2025: I order two burgers and chicken tray for delivery, write a note “no onions” i get a burgers with them. Chicken tray it's with few lettuce. I pay extra for cheese, it also few peaces. I don’t know its staff or something. Just need to give more attention to customer care. Anyway it’s just a second time when we're not fully happy.
