The Spotted Dog in Dundalk

A charming little restaurant with lovely staff, a family atmosphere, and cuisine that goes far beyond "just good food." Everything we ordered (chicken liver pâté, Wagyu burger, baked cod) was excellent, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. It's a shame my stay in Dundalk wasn't longer, as I would have loved to try the rest of the menu.

The most delicious tuna steak with gnocchi ever! Live it here always.

Is SO GOOD got hit in the face with flavour! Would definitely recommend it was great.

Food and coffee was top class. Tibor is an absolute gentleman and looked after us very well. Thanks a million.

Popped in for an early bite on Friday evening and tried the Wagyu burger special. Very impressive, tasty food, best chips in Dundalk and great service. 100% recommend a visit.

Food was very tasty, staff are so friendly and service was very quick. Can't recommend the place enough

Server Melieza was great, accommodated our dog by giving her treats and water. Food was amazing too and all of our needs were tended to. Will definitely come back!

Food was lovely. We will definitely be back 😊

Every now and then, you have one of those days where you order something without any big expectations, and it turns out to be absolutely gorgeous. I ordered the breakfast ciabatta, and the bread was so soft and nicely chewy. it honestly tasted like it had come fresh from the bakery that morning. I’m not usually a big fan of thick bacon, but it was cooked perfectly and was genuinely lovely. It was just a simple breakfast, but it really put me in a good mood and gave me a great start to the day. Would happily order again.
