Food was ok, but I wouldn't see myself coming back, staff and atmosphere was very nice

I am here for the ribs but unfortunately they dont have it. Overall, nice and cozy restaurant.

Beautiful Mother's Day meal here, got a booking no problem on the day, and we were blown away with our food. I had the duck which had the most delicious sauces with it, and my husband had the beef short rib which he loved, especially the generous portion size. Our toddler had goujons & chips which were homemade and he loved them. Service was excellent and very attentive to our little boy. We will definitely be back.

We visited the town on business and popped in for a late lunch at 3pm. The food was amazing, the Dahl was amazing. The service was prompt. Our server was so nice and friendly. Thank you.

Had breakfast this morning here. What a great meal. Brought to my table by a very nice young girl. As I was hungry, I ordered the full Irish breakfast. It was one of the nicest I have eaten. A nice pot of strong tea and I was one happy customer. Toilets were spotless too. Great menu with daily specials on the board.I would highly recommend The Spotted Dog but make sure you're hungry.
