Loses a star for loud modern music in a traditional old bar otherwise lovely spot

Epic place for pints, whiskey and music 😎🤩 Always try to go when I am in Drogheda.

Lovely, old-world traditional bar with snugs and shop counter. Over 100 years old. Come and visit a genuine piece of history. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice friendly clientele. Drink is well priced. No food served, apart from crisps and peanuts. Live music at weekends. We were there on a Sunday night for the very talented Carolan brothers. Highly recommended for tourists, visitors and locals who would like a quiet, traditional pint. An authentic window into Ireland's past.

Does what it says on the tin.. great Old School pub

Great to see a thriving old style pub, the way a pub should be. Excellent service which is lacking in so many pubs now.
