Ghan House in Carlingford

We spent 3 wonderful nights at The Ghan House . Our room was in the main house and was beautiful, comfortable and had everything that we needed. Breakfast was included and was delicious 🌟 Dinners were spectacular and the staff were ALL so very welcoming. We thank you all for such a special weekend 🥰

Magical place in the most enchanting town.....We had a private function in Ghan House for my mother's 60th in February. Everyone was blown away by the food and hospitality. Definitely worth a visit to their restaurant, if not for an overnight stay. Staff are friendly and welcoming - could not do enough for us.

I had heard so much about Ghana House, Ghana House this & Ghana House that but I have to say that it was Ghana House everything. What a beautiful place to stay. From the moment we opened the front door to the time we left, our stay is just perfect. We were given Room 2 in the main house, which was really a family room with 2 doubles & a quirky bunk bed. The bed was probably the most comfortably bed I have slept in. Dinner was excellent with amazing flavours. Each course seemed to be better than the previous one. The hotel has 2 AA rosettes for food, it deserves a 3rd. Staff were so pleasant & we were made to feel that we were their most important guest. Definitely a place to return to.

Lovely , very warm cosy guesthouse with great friendly service. Second time staying here. Food is top notch fine dining at good price definitely recommended eating diner at least one night. Homemade breads , muesli and jams are available for breakfast and all hot food freshly coooked to order yummy! The rooms are very nice lovly view of mountains out window, our bathroom had big bath and separate shower with massive showerhead ! The beds are amazing really comfy mattress better than some 5 star hotels I've stayed in. Nice bar and front room to have a drink in evening also with fires too keep you warm! Best place to stay in Carlingford which has loads of nice walks around and greenway with cycling path n bike rental, cant wait to return to Ghan house again!

A beautiful experience. The room was gorgeous and comfortable, super clean and welcoming. The decor was charming. The House is something magic, so many original features. The food was fantastic. The House is 5 minutes close to the village. We loved Ghan House ❤️

Amazing venue, amazing staff, amazing food 👌

We had our wedding at Ghan house and all I can say is wow. Flawless. All our guests were so well looked after, the staff were so accommodating and welcoming and the attention to detail was second to none. Thanks a million! Superb! X
