Had lunch here today Good Menu Food was lovely Excellent service Staff very friendly

We met for lunch. The food was excellent, cooked fresh and served with a smile. The staff were lovely; very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The music and atmosphere in the bar was excellent

Had some lovely food and a nice pint of the black stuff . Staff very nice and bar very cosy .

We did not stay in the hotel so please ignore the stars. It is written with the best of intentions. This is far too nice a place to be serving poor quality food in the front bar. Two pieces of sliced bread containing a slice of the cheapest supermarket processed ham with a sprinkling of cheese under the grill does not really cut it as a cheese and ham toasted sandwich... Well, technically, yes, but, oh, so disappointing. And is this the sort of service that would encourage anyone to book a room?
