Grand Central in Dublin

I had a fantastic time at this pub during my last night in Ireland. However, my evening took a turn for the worse when a female server approached me and asked to bring me my bill and cash me out before I was even ready. It was evident that this server didn’t want me there and “kicked me out” while I was enjoying my glass of wine, minding my own business. As a tourist, I overheard her say that she “doesn’t like Americans.” On the positive side, the first server provided me with a great history of the building, which I appreciated since I studied history at university and was drawn to Ireland for its rich history. I would definitely go back to this pub, but I would absolutely ask for a different server if I saw her again. The male servers were respectful and polite, but the female server on duty was extremely rude and unpleasant.

This place is gorgeous! Very cool old building with a very cool vibe. The chicken sandwich was fine, the chips + curry sauce were great - but the real star was our server Jonathan who was incredibly attentive and very kind. We had a minor mistake with our food when it arrived and he had it handled ASAP and even remembered our side of extra curry sauce. Thanks Jonathan! We’re sure to be back based on the amazing building and great service :)

First pub I walked into after alighting the tram. Great atmosphere, perfect guiness and steak sandwich. Peppercorn sauce delicious. Highly recommend for lunch.

Ryan F was an amazing barman! He was an absolute gent when being served he has the patience of a saint! But I also seen him deal with a complaint from a customer and dealt with it amazingly! He is a huge credit to the team!

They do a gorgeous Ceaser Salad

This was our first Dublin Pub once we had gotten a nap and gotten settled. We had traveled from Alaska. The staff was great, very easy to talk with and get suggestions from. Ryan went above and beyond for us. He not only gave us suggestions, he wrote out a list of places to visit, and different places to eat. He was so gracious and spent time answering all of our questions. We had our first authentic Guinness there, it was amazing, I also tried Hop House 13 Lager, 🍺😉☺️ that one was also wonderful. We will always remember Ryan and his hospitality, and want to thank him and the other bar tenders for just being willing to answer our questions. We hope to be able to return one day to finish the list Ryan had written out for us. Until then- mile buiochas, gach gair!!!!! The only reason we did not rate the food is because we arrived after food service had ended😊

Great place great food! The place was crazy packed, there was a little wait but the staff was so considerate the whole time!

Old bank building, not bad but certainly no high-flyer in the "culinary" field

Went in for a drink after being in the Abbey theatre as very close by. Lots of seating & wanted food which looked nice but they stop serving at 9.30 pm so missed out. We ended up staying for drinks & the bar staff could not have been nicer especially Ryan. Staff made the place.. Decor lovely in places, but could do with an update. Paula

This is exactly what we needed after 30+ hours of travel. Thank you so much guys! Burgers were so awesome.
