First time there yesterday. Have always passed it over the years and always wanted to go in for a pint. Walked in yesterday. Sound barman served us Fantastic Guinness. It's a beautiful pub. Had a nice stroll around it as it wasn't busy in the afternoon. Will definitely return.

Classy pub, with the traditional storefront, hardware and perfume bottles that used to be for sale. "Just going to the hardware store to buy a couple of nails and an Eau de Cologne", that old tradition. Heineken 0.0 on tap, that's pretty rare, and cool.

17/07/2026: Honestly, I don’t know why this place only has a 4.4-star rating. I’ve been coming here regularly since I arrived in Ireland, and it’s already become my favorite spot. You can tell it’s a cozy family-run business where everyone genuinely cares about what they do. The chicken burger is an absolute must-try! I also love that I can bring my dog and see families enjoying their time here. The staff are always incredibly kind and welcoming. I take Google reviews very seriously whenever I’m looking for a new place to eat, so trust me, you should definitely give this place a try.
