I found the Hedgehog Restaurant first class. I went there on 26th June with some family relations. We were graciously received by the owner and his wife. Then the menu and service were excellent in a homely atmosphere.
When the food arrived it was a generous portion and delicious.
I highly recommend this place to anyone travelling in Co. Clare.

daily special was odd - fish skewer but a bit overwhelmed by chorizo - would have been better with just scampi and scallops
Really enjoyed having dinner in The Hedgerow under Cilian and Sarah’s management. Food which was absolutely top class was delivered with warm friendly service by Marion . Lovely ambience as well. Highly recommended, treat yourself, you won’t regret it
The restaurant is located on a busy road but has its own car park. The menu is very limited but the food was delicious. We only had a drink each and main meals as it was so expensive. What we had though was lovely so thank you.
Called today for lunch. Ordered the chowder and ooen crab sandwich. Absolutely devine. Tge homemade treacle bread was fresh out of tge oven, topped with the most amazing crab with a gorgeous fresh salad and homemade coleslaw. The chowder was one of the best Ive had. Tge service was lovely. The chef droppex out our food, a lovely touch. The decor is very nicr modern but cosy. We so look forward to coming back x
