Very large pub in Tinahely. We arrived here outside lunchtime in pouring rain. The staff was friendly and seated us. The food was very good and the local beers were delicious. We felt right at home. Thank you!

The food was delicious, and the people were friendly and very helpful – both the young woman serving and the owner. There was a lovely atmosphere among the guests, and it was easy to strike up a conversation.

05/04/2026: Lovely stay had at Murphy’s . We were down for a wedding close by and this hotel was perfect . Basic but clean and comfortable room . Lovely staff and nice friendly bar . We had breakfast included and have to say it was one of the best breakfasts we had in a very long time . It was cooked fresh to order and was of high quality ingredients. The owner came over for a chat when we were leaving and he was a super friendly man who was genuinely interested in us . If we are ever back down that way we will definitely be saying there again . Great price too .
